Just got back from my local shop with a black one. Have the OG in stainless and love it for my wide builds. Have to say out of the bag the orings on the deck are super tight and it shredded parts of them removing the barrel. Hope it gets better once I get some juice going.
Surprised you didn't mention about the airflow issue. There is a limit to how much you can close it off before the single coil slot encroaches on the opposite slot. And also you are limited to how much you can close it off in single coil mode.
If you have to close down the airflow past halfway on either single or dual, this probably isn't the RDA for you. Not a dig, just being honest. There are better RDAs out there if you want less airflow and/or better flavour.
FF MkII in terms of airflow I'll choose the CSMNT over this rda. Same airflow shape and better yet working perfectly however far you want to close it down.

Whisp I have to disagree with the whole mtl statement. I have the tm2 and the og goon and I run them both with one hole open for a restricted lung hit. I don't think you should be able get a mtl draw from these rdas because I just simply don't think it would be a good vape, but I do think you should have more options than airy as fuck and pretty damn airy on all rdas

thanks Dean! i love they added the dome to the top cap! i think i will hold out for the 22mm. from the vid it actually looks like the top cap/afc is a different grade of ss then the barrel. the barrel looks 304 while the top cap looks like 303 (of a lower grade 304).
Nice review, however I can't see much need to get this if you have the original goon. Is there any blind test or anything done that "proves" that domed top caps has better/more flavour. I hear reviewers mentioning it all the time but I'm a bit skeptical.. ;)
If you take the measurements there isn't any notable difference between the two. The space between the posts is bigger in the original goon then the V1. If you want a squonk get the pin for the original for less restrictive juice flow. The air flow is the biggest difference in the two, better on the V1.5.
I've got a clone and there's absolutely no difference just by looking at the rda. the writing is smaller on the bag though. I got it for 5 bucks which is a no brainer to me 5 vs 60

Why GOON Doesn't have "scratch and Check" system like other brand? They should realize that people will be difficult to realize when they get clone product
I was desperate for one when I saw they were coming out, unfortunately no solid brass and I've seen a lot of the paint coming off when being cleaned. Come on 528! Bring out a solid brass and you can have my money!

My goon22 came in an embroidered bag.. best all around atty I have! I use a drip tip from a 1.5 on it though... Heats up much less

Bought the clone after comparing it to the "Authentic" £15 and you can't tell them apart!.
