The demo shows how to calculate Pearson's correlation coefficient r using a Casio Scientific Calculator, typically the fx-80 series.
For simplicity on three pairs of x, y data are used which of course would not be enough in a real world situation. | x | y |
1 | 3 | 7 |
2 | 4 | 8 |
3 | 3 | 6 |

Note: The Greek uppercase letter Σ (standing for sum of )is pronounced Sigma.
