- Guild Wars 2's new strike: Temple of Febe (Cerus) CM, Embodiment of Sin.
For a detailed explanation of how the boss mechanics work, refer to the description of our Legendary mode kill: • Guild Wars 2: Temple o...
The requirement to complete this achievement is to activate all of Cerus' embodiments (boss mechanics), namely the Gluttony mechanic. Compared to our Legendary mode kill, we also activated the Envy mechanic which causes the normal slow-moving beam that occasionally occurs to also spawn a fast-moving beam that starts in the opposite direction. Being hit by either of these beams causes the player to receive damage and steals all of the player's boons, transferring them to the boss. This normally requires you to move in a specific pattern around Cerus or the embodiment in order to avoid, however we found that you can reliably jump the walls. This does not avoid the damage dealt to the player, but does prevent the boon strip.
The main mechanic to overcome however was the Gluttony mechanic. This mechanic is extremely difficult to deal with, often dealing double the damage of the main raid-wide damage mechanic in the sub 10% phase. We opted to use Scourges with the Parasitic Contagion trait, as well as fitting them with full Trailblazer statted armor, weapons and trinkets. This combined with the extreme healing that our Chronomancers provided allowed us to survive.

That ticking damage is insane. Time to dust off my scourge 🎉🎉🎉 congrats to all of you.
real gamers! big gaming, gz!
great job. very deserved, congrats!
Interesting use of bone minions on the alac scourges! Is that for better lifeforce management for the squad?
Gratz!!!
Holy hell, congrats.
Hey, can you link the Build from this Fight?
Imagine designing a boss with these two gigantic talons, and they're completely useless. This boss should be swinging his talons left and right for massive aoe damage as his signature attack
it’s like watching the reincarnated bob ross, a fucking masterpiece was made that day. 🎨👨🎨🖼️
hello, is this dps or adps build?
I would guess this is just DPS seeing as they were on 30k+ DPS, the 2 scourges in the group on 15-20k DPS will be the alac
@@FlexAndBustGaming but he has 28k health which mean using ritualist isnt it?
@@Lol-ui5dc They are using full trailblazer, because the fight requires insane sustain.
