The larger the drone the bigger a target it becomes, the larger the cost if its destroyed, also how do you counter jamming? Aerovironment so far has only had success with its Puma recons.
Not to mention that the size alone requires a federal license.... And it would not be allowed to fly anywhere except for designated flight zones you couldn't use us out in the public
so we all ignore the insane amount of vibration in every camera mount 2:19min. is also nice to see its so compact since you only have to carry around that 2 meter long coffin. yeah nah a helicopter design always brings too much vibration. no way to get clear footage with that hard mounted cam slot even they put that fake "satisfy click" sound in every time he swap something to make us feel its "super easy to change stuff" 🥸

I imagine the idea is to punch a tight beam through the jamming noise with a phased array antenna and a high power transmitter, might use lasers too.
I honestly thought it was a 50 caliber rifle floating around in the sky at first.

It flashes in the video that it’s 55 lbs GTOW, so I think you just need part 107.
This requires a full private pilots license and flight plans or special zone waver in the United States of America.
Helicopter no UAV yes
It is UAS
