Thanks for playing my hide & seek map ScrapMan! Most of the hiding spots were in the trains themselves which is why there wasn't alot in the station. Originally I was going to add stores at the ends of the platforms as to the reason for the "Under Construction" Signs. But I had been working on this project for 4 months now and I just wanted to finally release the challenge so I decided to leave it as it is.
I do plan to make an updated version of the map with added stores along the sides of the platforms, so perhaps you could do a replay of the challenge sometime in the future (like you did with Ecologics Mall Map).
I also had another game mode called *Hunt or be Hunted* where the hiders have to find all the 8 ducks scattered around the map while the seekers try to find them, to give the hiders a goal to achieve apart from not trying to be found. So that if the hiders found all 8 ducks without getting caught they win, but if the seeker finds all the hiders before the ducks are found, the seekers win.
Anyways I do really enjoy your hide & seek videos, I'd say this "series" is your must enjoyable yet, can wait for more to come!

It would be fun for a lot of people (maybe several seekers lol) but the question is, can Scrap Mechanic handle so many players at once. We would probably need a really big map too... and it so happens I'm working on a Giant Kitchen that might be big enough, check my channel for some vids I made on it. :)

Next time you get a map like this where you just walk out of the spawn room, you should see if you can circle around and get back into the spawn room for your hiding spot once the seeker has left.

1:53 Yes I added that beat to the last 10 seconds of the timer when I made version 2 of the Giant Bathroom. I couldn't hear it right in mulitplayer so I'm glad you were able to hear it right :)

@@thepebble6709 No, Jotrain Gamer made the map. I made the timer and helped him get it wired up. My next map will be a Giant Kitchen, which I've made a couple of videos on already. :)

It would be interesting to see guest RUclipsrs joining in with multiplayer Mondays because I'd love to join in on one of those games
Fun fact: when you're using headphones it's better to use stereo than surround, surround sound is generally designed with 3-6, sometimes up to 9 speakers in mind, stereo with 2, and mono with 1, and since headphones only have 2 speakers, using surround sound settings with headphones causes a third of the directional audio from surround settings to be lost, resulting in the audio equivalent of a blind spot.

The great thing about Scrapman’s first spot was that the button was in such plain sight that Kan wasn’t expecting it

Scrapman, how you as a music developer resisted.the urge to do the crazy train intro when you introduced the map is astounding.
I'm kinda curious about all the ducks though. The ones scattered around the map all had sensors and there was some table thing in the beginning area with different ducks, probably some cool secret or hidden room
That last round was hilarious knowing where both you were and still couldn’t access direct hit.
Scrapman and spy cakes should collab more this was really fun

when someone is found, they also search. last one to be found wins.
you can either select a seeker from those that were found first or turn by turn like you are doing it now to keep it fair.

@1:20 the green duck with a sensor is a weird thing to find.... perhaps there are other ducks? Secret room or something?

There are a group of ducks in the spawn room with lights under them that indicate which ones are found. I helped a small bit with the map so Jotrain showed me quite a bit. It does indeed unlock something ...I believe it's in a video on his channel...

That is a really stunning model. It made me feel I was actually in a station.
Spycakes was a great guest spot.
For all potential hide and seek map maker I have idea for very good spot and that inside of robotic dragon with a sign in front of where jaws are and there hidden colored switch that blends in with red in front and behind it that from letter o that spell scrapgon (in reference to scrap man) or mechagon or just dragon.
Forgot mention button lowers the jaw using piston on timer.
Here's a game you could try with 2 people-
You both have a nap split in half and hide 3 ducks on your own side. You then try to find the opponents 3 ducks before they find yours!

One of my fondest memories is base making in halo with the forge.
My brother and I would have our friends come over and just build fun maps, we would put as much in one map as possible before it got too laggy.
Im talking hidden bases, parkour maps, racing courses, hide and seek maps, and of course versus maps.
The first thing I did in every world was take the option tool, make it as big as possible, turn off fall damage, increase gravity, crank up the jump height, at least double the speed, and double both the player health and shields.
Then I start building.

Edit: btw did you notice that the timer is the exact same as in the giant bathroom hide and seek map?

At ca. 19:00 the sound is the lights turning on it's supposed to emulate the sound you hear in an old warehouse when the lights turn on. At least that's what I'm deducting.

I really hope my hide n' seek map gets played eventually.
I will say, I didn't give spudguns to hiders in my map because the sound hints wouldn't help given the size of the map. My map is relatively small, with lots of spots, so the sound just wouldn't help.

Hey scrapman I think you should try out space engineers at some point. You can build ships and have dogfights which can be great for multi-player monday

There are tons more hide-and-seek maps I would love to see (please?): The Batcave is a good one with a complete TROLL, actually most of them are good except (in my opinion) the Car-Park Hide-‘N’-Seek. Plus they updated the Mall! I’ll just give you a hint for a good spot: the box store now has something one of you guys were complaining about before
