What a wonderful review Steven. It’s funny how the mutual love of fragrance can be therapeutic in its own right. I love this fragrance- it's nothing like I expected it to be. I'm usually into gourmands, but I love the spicy freshness of this one. I love the vetiver in it, and I can't smell the rose at all (it's blended so well).
When I tested it on my skin in the store- I immediately loved it, and that it very much unlike me, so I bought it right away.

This smells like "October " in Canada, to me. Woodsy, fall leaves after a rain. It reminds me of good childhood memories. Love it!

I have worn TB Knock on Wood. A great fall scent. Nothing beast type. This isn’t similar to Santal 33 at all in my opinion. I guess maybe because it’s much softer on my skin. Overall it’s a nice soft woodsy earthy casual fragrance. The longevity is not too bad but projection is short lived. Doesn’t last very long.

Wow your description of this perfume is absolutely accurate with what I smell, but on my side I do get the juicy blood orange. I am in love with this perfume, the woodsyness is amazing to my nose. I love it, it is very different. I saw a description stating that this is a floral perfume, to my nose it is woodsy, but not heavy at all and well blended. Loved your review, I appreciate how you broke the perfume and you rreferences. I was intrigued by your Jarding sur le Nil by Hermes, I'll make sure I get my hands on a sampler.

How different is the original from the 2019 release. I believe I smelled the original from a friend and fell in love. Last year I asked a friend to buy me one and after she smelled it at the store she decided not to. She said it smelled like woods! Literally wood! 😅

I accidentally used this scent thinking i picked up the TB signature scent *facepalm* I'll just say this isn't my cup of tea. it smells like fresh bark/wood and pickle juice to me lol. I could deal with this on a man, but not on me personally. Its not *bad* just very masculine and woody, as the name suggests. so if you're looking for something woody, this is right up your alley.

I love you Steve and been a fan for years but the one thing I wish you would drop is the presentation or at least breeze by it much more quickly. I'm interested in the juice not the box. Do like a few quick comments abut the bottle itself, since I do like how they will look on my shelf and the quality of the materials, but get to the juice. Thanks. Great review.
