In the bus terminal building, they didn't yell to you guys at all. They just said the name of bus-bound provinces out loud in front of the bus ticket booths. ❤❤
They did not yell at you guys. They yelled "Ratchaburi" which is a destination if you want to go to Ratchaburi you have to go toward her. Another destination Nakorn Pathom. They speak very loud so that their customers know where to get the ticket to that particular destinations. It is a kind of marketing ways like Japanese Izakaya.
That actually makes a lot of sense now that we know, but it can be a bit jarring when you have no idea what is going on. We thought we trespassed or something. 😅
As an Australian I was particularly moved emotionally visiting Kanchanaburi and the cemetery, museum and Hell Fire Pass. I loved this vlog thank you for the respect you showed when visiting those places. Such a lovely place to visit.
Oh wow, we can imagine! Such an emotional, heavy past. We really enjoyed learning about the events here and at Hellfire Pass. We never knew we were as into history, let alone war history, as we seem to be. It was absolutely a place we feel should be highlighted. Thank you for watching. great video, nice one..I've been a few times to kanchan i found best way is by train from thon buri BKK ..fantastic scenery..then from kanchan to nam tok...and onto Erawan falls (dont miss it)
It isn't that it's called Kwai Yai.. it is definitely called River Kwai. It's just that there are 2 branches that converge right there in Kanchanaburi, one called Kwai Yai (Yai means 'big') and another called Kwai Noi (Noi means 'small')... In fact, from that point, pretty much where the bridge is down to the sea near Samut, it's called 'Mae Klong'. •• My great-grandfather is buried in that War cemetery that you visited.. And there's actually a shot there where Ashley is walking towards the front of the cemetery about four rows back on the left and believe it or not I think she would be Do almost directly in front of his exact grave. It was either there or 1 alrow further. I can almost walk there with my eyes closed
Oh wow, that actually makes so much sense! 🙏 Thanks for explaining that. And wow, how crazy. That makes it feel like such a small world. The cemetery is laid out very beautifully and super well maintained. We really enjoyed our time in Kanchanaburi. Thank you so much for sharing! 🙏
Pad Kraprao that you have, Thai people usually order 2 plates of rice and share that. This is why you've gotten a very big portion. If you ordered rice with Pad Kraprao on top, it would be around 50 baht. What you ordered was Pad Kraprao (80 baht) and a plate of rice (10 baht). You will get too big portion for one.
That doesn't make it a bad day you have to have a better outlook. You will enjoy yourselves better the rain soon stops and see how quickly it dries and what a lovely smell. see the good in the world.

Sai Yok Waterfall is one of the most breath-takingly beautiful waterfalls. Highly receommend to visit if you are in Kanchanaburi. However, currently it is rainy season, and it makes it may be dangerous if there is a hard rain. If you go there, should be becareful and follow the officer's instructions.
@@mikeandashley Etong village is 24 hours mist covered in Rainy and cold seasons. @@mikeandashley Kanchanaburi in the summer is very hot. This year the temperature reaches 40+ degrees. But it is also a province with abundant forests. No wonder during World War 2.
