- When we saw this vehicle, we had to know more!
Austin and Ashley are from Fairbanks Alaska and they wanted a rig they could live in, offroad and see the world. They started with Toyota Chinook, and combined it with a 1982 toyota pickup and a '99 4runner. The result is far more capable than any original Chinook.

First i want to say i love your build. You two did a fantastic job. About the a/c. It looks like it's built into the closet. If so, maybe it is overheating because it has no way of getting rid of all the heat that the unit is trying to exhaust hence why a window unit sits half outside. It's just a thought that came to mind. Thank you for the video and inspiration.

I have access to an 82 Chinook that my friend (who is relocating to Hawaii otherwise he would take it :) wants me to remodel tio opt out for future rental.
I’m excited however a little nervous iof my ( lack) of skill set.
Any suggestions as to where to start and what to access via info/web content?

Quick question for You. Why do Volkswagen Beetles/Bugs break down a lot??? I Myself would LOVE to have an exact replica of this Bug especially the large off road suspension, and tires. Does it have AC, power steering, and is it an automatic transmission????
