I'm not saying it's foul play or not. But to have no blood at all anywhere on the way down is impossible for someone intoxicated as bad as what is said. Look at video coverage of exact place he would have went into all the way down to where his credit card was found.

Things are not making sense. The cops had video and it took over a week to release footage and now that his phone and credit card has been found they are scaling back efforts to find him. Why didn't the police escort him to the hotel since he seemed lost. While we don't know how much he drank before going to the bar we do know that he didn't get that much alcohol served to him there. Did someone drug him?
I don't completely believe the one drink think. I used to work in a bar and you can rerun tabs. That was a long, long time ago. Maybe its not that easy nowadays.
I think sadly he fell into the water and he is gone. Reminds me of a case in the UK where a women went missing near a body of water. They found her in the river 4 weeks later.
I wonder if they questioned the individuals who found the card..they probably have good intentions, but you never know..and just like the family friend said of all the times that they walked by the card and never saw it
This same type of thing has been happening in austin, texas..... a lot of men have been drinking in a popular bar area.... and are found dead in the river thar runs through downtown austin just down the street from the bar area... sounds very similar !
Those homeless people know something about Riley. A sergeant stated that one of them had seen him. But, they haven't been able to locate him. I think he was robbed, beaten, maybe stabbed, and thrown into the river. That person left his cell phone and debit card where it was found later on.
Scaling back doesn’t necessarily mean reducing the search. They are still looking for him but it could mean less searching and more focus on the investigation. Ten days in is a long time and if they haven’t found him then they are taking what’s been found left behind and what they have on video and focusing on that in order to find him. They are still looking.
If that’s the case let the unpaid volunteers to find him , and if they don’t then there’s definitely something wrong with this police department!? It seem like the volunteers found more evidence then the police department!

Call Parks & Sanitation and clear out all those camps and bring to a location to search though it all. The homeless already abandoned the place.
clearly someone robbed him! look at all that filth near the water. keep searching!
My guess would be miles down stream but who knows
God be with the family in Riley in safe return home ✝️🕊️🇺🇸
Reduce search?? Idk if that means they are done searching the river or if that means they’ll be looking in other areas where he was surveillance cameras. Either way I hope he’s found alive and can be with his family soon!🙏🏻❤️
WTF? I would be livid about this!!!
1:05 😮 What a dump. Unreal.
This makes no sense!
Of course it does.
I "heard" the Cajun Navy was coming in to search??
So weird, body cam shows he was walking normal. Why did he not ask for help? Or officer, I am lost, I fell and hit my head? Minutes before he was stumbling, then he acted normal after. He had to know he was lost and said nothing. This is so strange!
He disappeared right after, and they said that officer was in area for another 45 minutes and did not hear anything ?
Why didn't they show the clip of the body cam? And did this just come out today? The cop that talked to him would have remembered right away and we would have known about the video right away
Exactly!!
Because video was evidence in open felony criminal investigation so policies had to be followed...
@@amberfitz-randolph392 Or coverup!!
@@amberfitz-randolph392 what was the felony being investigated?
@@RoughNeckDelta the cop was there to investigate the car the was broken into in the spot Riley walked past. It was body cam from his investigation of the vehicle. I did hear police had more evidence on Riley but weren’t showing it to the public. Maybe this was what they were referring to.
Is that a garbage dump or a riverfront in a major American city?
Homeless Camps all along the Cumberland River in Nashville & City.
All of this seems off some how. Drunk, staggering, thrown out of a bar. And then we see him talking to police officer. Does not make sense!!!
My heart goes out to this family, I can imagine what this family is going through right now.
This is so strange that no one has found him...but they havn;t found little 4 years old Summer Wells either. She is now 8 years old.
Can they please send ask for Chaos Divers and other to start scanning for his body in the water with Sonar
This case is so famous and no one has seen him....
I love 🍉
The cop that spoke to Riley just happened to recall a week later this very tall guy in a very identifiable shirt. OMG!
How do know the card wasn’t planted since people have been looking for 2 weeks?
For all those saying don't scale back, I have a feeling he was found and they are just not releasing the info yet.
Where exactly was the card found? Place the dogs within a yard from tge direction of where the card was found , just to see if you get a trail from the dogs. No trail, simply means sombody placed or threw the card there . And Riley was somewhere else, other than the river...if Riley was indeed at the river where his card was found, then most likely the dogs would pick up the scent, even if it was on the bottom of his shoes from the bar, or the glass/ can he dranked from from the bar that night.
Roofie
I think sadly he fell into the water and he is gone. Reminds me of a case in the UK where a women went missing near a body of water. They found her in the river 4 weeks later.
So sad 😢
“Yea we just found his debit card, let’s stop looking and get back to pulling people over for nothing” Protect and serve my ass
When did they ever say they were stopping the search for him? They’re scaling back. It’s common in many cases. The investigation shifts.
Nobody stopped looking, drama queen.
You’re right!
Yes, from what I've heard they're focusing more on a specific part of the river based on the K9 dogs.
No way police missed that card- it was planted afterwards
Sure....
We never heard of anything like this back in the 70s. And it makes me wonder why it's so bad now
wow...10 days, Tennessee sucks at finding anyone
Finding his card is so suspicious. Did he leave it at the bar? Sounds like someone’s lying.
A lot of times these towns and cities don’t want to use up their financial resources.
If that’s the case let the unpaid volunteers to find him , and if they don’t then there’s definitely something wrong with this police department!? It seem like the volunteers found more evidence then the police department!
Luke Bryan man up and pay for the search!!!!
@@Pamela-t3g100% hope they sue this bar for not allowing the friend to leave with Riley
My son was in Nashville not long ago, and he said tonight that he never walked by himself there that it's pretty sketchy with all of the homeless people and stuff. He said when he left by himself that he got a cab and rode it back to his and his buddies' hotel. I hate that this family is going through this, and I can't imagine what his family is going through. I just wished Riley would've asked for help or at least called an Uber or something. 😢
This is horrible they are tightening up the search! This is something worth all our tax dollars!
Not mine, thanks for offering though.
Where is the rest of the Police video?!?!?
The policeman was the last one to see him....
Might want to search underneath all that garbage underneath the bridge
Too painful for words ..a beautiful young life. Keep hope alive.
Why is there no footage from inside the bar please
I feel they are so close - they need to keep up the efforts. I don't think foul play was involved, especially since they found his credit card. Likely an accident whatever happened. Praying for his family.
You think some criminal or sus wouldn't toss his credit card???
@@electric_girl No, I think they would try and use it - I don't think that happened.
@@electric_girl Criminals are basically pretty stupid - they always think they won't get caught but they do.
@@DDee-oi6kn it would be traced. Hello*~?
@@electric_girl Do you actually think criminals think that way? People credit cards and credit card numbers are stolen every day! DUH!
Why aren't the residents and the college students assisting in the search? Where's the crime stoppers reward and search assistance? WTF?
That red truck window is busted out! 0:16
That’s what the officer who exchanged hello’s with Riley was there to investigate.
Poor sweet Riley strain 😢 why bubba you ain't asked the police for help if it's true a cop seen him😢 check bunkers check holes please😢💔😞🙏
Whose holes?
@@susivarga7303 some women up here comments saying 3 guys beat up riley and threw him in a hole she on a comment somewhere
I watched just watched Ashleigh Banfield. She said a homeless encampment person who delivers food to the homeless saw a man with Rileys shirt on.. He was wearing a hoodie and was filthy but the shirt was so clean!!! She called the police left messages and nobody called her back... Something is very fishy going on with the police...
WTTTTTHHHHH!!! Reduce search are they crazy!!!!
Nobody wants to say it but at this point it's a body recovery search.
Exactly
Agreed
1:15 That’s a lot of trash down there.
"Scaling Back" WTF! "Other areas of the investigation!" Come on DA, Police Department! Stop allowing your pride to interrupt the resources that could be utilized for locating #RileyStrain
She's speed talking... this is the first mention of finding his cellphone?... and it was quickly mentioned that he talked with a police officer that night?... how come no one has mentioned that BEFORE?
🙏🏼Praying for Riley and his family🙏🏼
She stated they found his cell phone down by the bank where the bank card was, NO. there has been no reports of his "cell phone" being found his phone has not been found please be sure you are reporting accurate findings in this case. Repeat his phone has not been located!!!
Are there any other missing persons in Nashville at this time?
Nashville has so many people missing
To reduce the search for Riley is horrifying!!!
😰😰😰😰😰😰😰
Yo mama.
Lots. So many are fake or child taken out of state.
Well who was the woman found?
@@julesservantofjesus972 trash probably.
Search the river 25 miles down river work your way up search the woods near the river especially where the homeless hang around
Do not give up on looking for him please
So heartbreaking
Bars are simply festering dens of iniquity, and alcohol is nothing but poison.
Why the hell would they reduce the search? They just found his credit card. Something stinks in Tennessee.
I don't think an adult missing persons case/possible accidental death is FBI jurisdiction
But the fraternity is gonna send thoughts and prayers! I will never understand why anyone in their right mind would want to join or want their kid to join a fraternity or sorority what a waste of money for humiliation, endangering life ,and people who wouldn't piss on you if on fire !
