As far as I know, it is not a good idea to keep the keyboard cover on when you close the lid since the gap between that and the keyboard is very thin and so the cover will touch the screen and affect it in long term, is that correct?
Do somebody knows what is macOS Monterrey (released in 2021) doing on the Macbook Air 2020? I'm asking because yesterday I got my brand new Macbook Air 2020 with (!) macOS Ventura (released in 2022).
They still make these macs ☺️ that’s why the OS is fresh according to the year it was produced. The same about my iPhone 13 mini that should come with iOS 15 but came with 16 , I called to Apple and they told me that it was absolutely normal if they had produced it recently

Hi! It's actually not advisable to keep the keyboard cover on the keyboard if you close the MBA as it may damage the screen.
