@@fizzlock I believe there’s some throwaway dialogue about how House Pavus and House Trevelyan (human Inquisitor’s house) are connected through one of Inquisitor Trevelyan’s second cousins or something like that (but far enough up the family tree that Dorian hooking up with the Inquisitor isn’t an issue)
Was going back so I could reference where to find it and I have to apologize, I was mistaken. Dorian is actually distantly related to the Trevelyans. I got confused because I remember him mentioning one of Cassandra's cousins and I confused the Pentaghasts with the Trevelyans. It does get confusing after awhile considering the Pentaghasts are a very large family, I still like to think they spilled over to Tevinter bloodlines and made it to Dorian's family.
Julie it really isn't that much of a stretch when you think about all the royal family's we had over here in Europe, by the time of the enlightenment, all of the royal bloodlines had become so intermingled that virtually EVERY royal family was related in some way to every OTHER royal family Hell, take the Romanovs for instance, the longest reigning Russian royal line in the countries history, by the First World War, they had cousins in England's royal family, French aristocracy, even the German royal line probably had ties with the Romanovs So the idea that Dorian and Cassandra might be related, even distantly, isn't too far fetched
Same! I flirted with Cassandra in the early game because I think it’s really cute how much she softens up. But when I started dating Dorian, between this bit of party banter and when she asked if it was true we were dating in Skyhold, it was so funny seeing her all jealous. Cass was definitely thinking “what does he even see in Dorian that I don’t have?” 😂
I just happy that you took the time to do this, it's kinda hard for me to find inquisition stuff. Dorian and Cassandra just happen to be two of my favorite characters as well.
Cass was the first romance I did! Male Qunari Mage Quizzy. Great combo, I think. Loved him to death, too bad I finished the game with him over two years ago now.
Dorian just has the best banter. Period. Verric's the only other one in that category. I keep picking the "flirt" option with Dorian even though I cannot romance him just because the dialogue is always something that I would say to actual friends of mine, and less boring than the other options. And he never disappoints me with his reaction.
Ladel Ladel Yeah I know I was scared as shit playing Inquisition, thinking "what if I fail to make Leliana Divine" but luckily it wasnt the case, even if I think Inquisition ending is not enough (THE CHANTRY NEEDS TO BURN). I was just making a propaganda point because i really love Anders :3
Anders is a hero? Yes, let's praise the man that created an enormous war throughout all of Thedas. Apostates vs Templars vs the world. Killing each other, killing innocents, destroying everything, breaking the land up and raising up armies. Sounds like a "free the mages" success to me. Your "hero" has killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people who had nothing to do with anything. Your "hero" caused one of biggest wars in Thedas history. Your "hero" only ended up hurting mages more than helping. Anders didn't care about the mages. He only cared about getting revenge. Anders deserved to die. I only wish I could have killed him in a more satisfying way. A simple stab to the back was too damn good for that abomination. May his soul burn in hell.
@@xxMiraclesMay anders knew what he was about to cause, he knew that there will be so much blood on his hands that he'll drown in it, but for him the only way to break the system was a war, "there can be no compromise", because compromise failed to solve anything for centuries. i'm not one of these peple that like to claim he's innocent and white and fluffy and always right (tbh i hate this position because it takes away all the complexity of this character), but imo he had a cause and an idea, and in the end he took the decision to fight for it in the only way that he deemed possible, something that he worked on for a while (he didn't just explode the chantry right away, remember, he had the whole underground scheme of taking people out of kirkwall, of helping the refugees and all that, and he did it for years before realising that this will never be enough.
If I'm being honest Dorian is handsome and I'm straight. His only problems are that his moustache doesn't fit his personality and in many scenes he sweats profusely. That's not something I like to see really.
"You're not as handsome as you think Dorian" "you're right... I've been selling myself short all this time"
There needs to be a "Press X to doubt" option when she says that haha

The fact that romancing Cassandra (as a human) canonically makes these two in-laws just... makes me so happy.
oh, god
Wait what? How?
Huh????
I know she's Nevarran Royalty, but you're gonna have to fill in the other gaps 😅

Am I the only one who thinks when you put these two together they not only act like siblings but look like siblings as well?
Lesbiwolf92 before i looked into the game itself i thought they were siblings
They are distantly related. Dorian mentions it to Cassandra.
oh my god! i have to look for this now, although being apart of a family as large as the pentagausts is suppose thats not so hard to believe lol

That is Cassandras favorite word. "Ugh". I LOVE IT!
I got this banter when my inquisitor was already in a relationship with Dorian and I had to pause the game because I nearly died of laughter

I just got to where cassandra and dorian finally say this in my game. I immediately remembered seeing this little video! Absolutely love it
Anything: exists or acts or ceases to exists
Cassandra: UGH!
Dorian is far more handsome than he thinks
These two act like siblings it's hilarious
Was... was that a picture of Cole in the background?
Who else would wear that hat :D
MistyEyedDragon Oh I definitely would.
I dunno, I already forgot....

I love these two together so much. Pure chaotic sibling energy
I love it when people do these kind of things

I tried to romance my female Inquisitor on both of them. XD

Cassandra is sending Dorian to a circle
The Circles are no more. Anders is a hero! Viva La Revolution!
Gigi Lenci Not entirely true. Only as Leliana as divine will the circles be abolished.

XDDD he's not used to the south
Everyone sweats profusely in Inquisition. It's like condensation on a chilled cup. Thedas is just built different lol

The 1 dislike is Cassandra.
The only problem with the handsomeness of Dorian's face is tha the looks EXACTLY like my brother... It's insanely troublesome...
