I gave up my piano when my husband and I moved to a retirement community. I missed having it for learning choral pieces. I decided to purchase a keyboard of some kind, as I don't have room for a full size piano. Knowing nothing about keyboards, I watched many of your videos to determine which keyboard or piano would be best for me. From your videos, I came to realize the most important features for me, were authentic piano sound and full-size graded, weighted keys. From there it was a question of size and features. My focus was mainly on piano, but I found the keyboard features interesting, especially recording and playback, and USB capability. I finally decided on the Yamaha P121. I told my husband it's like a "cross-over vehicle", a compromise between piano and keyboard, with features of both, in a more manageable size. I purchased one and am excited for it to arrive in a few days. I also bought a Yamaha PSR-E363 for my Aunt. Hers arrived today and she is very excited about it. Thank you for all your help and all your great information. Stay safe!
😁👍 I guess, Jeremy is that fit - because he not just teaches - how to masterfully play piano for a living, but he also hauls every time his own piano to his students 😁 No joke, I am of the same stature as Jeremy is, being myself a stage keyboard player for more than 20 years 😁 These pro keyboards are heavy - they weigh 30lbs + no need to go to a gym, if you're a touring keyboard player.
Just curious: How many piano pieces actually use the few keys on the extreme lower and high register notes of a 88-key piano? Wouldn't 73 or 76 keys be enough for 95% of pieces out there?
Just wanted to point out that the P125 can also be transposed up or down octaves by holding down the Piano button, so the P121 really does not have a wider range. Though I definitely see your point that if you want to purchase the P121 for a lower budget, you are still able to widen the range to further than a standard piano's 88 key range. Love your videos, and thank you for being so thorough in your reviews and demos!
i grew up playing piano but i stopped when i became an adult and i don't have the room in my small apartment. would you say someone who is used to playing an upright would find a p151 comfortable?
Hi Jeremy.. Great video as always. Wanted to ask if the Fantasie impromptu in the intro was played by you. If yes, well played. Please post the full recording in a separate video. Liked the amazing clarity and expression. Thanks in advance.
Thanks very much for your videos. I almost got my girlfriend a regular keyboard/synthesizer and then watched your videos and got her the P-125. 100% the right decision!
For reasons of size only, I prefer the 121 to other digital contenders. Thank you for the reviews. I need to switch from A=440 to 415 and wonder if p121 will do it? If not, which digital piano should I look at…Kawai ES 110??
Hi, I'm a "young senior" learning the keyboard and I do have an upright piano at home. The thing is piano doesn't give the supporting voice/rhythm/style which come with keyboard. I am practicing on a hand-me down Yamaha E303 (very old keyboard). Do I actually need to get a better keyboard so that eventually I can play the piano as well? Thanks Jeremy.
Thanks for watching Elizabeth. You need a teacher who knows how to teach you to play along with the rhythm/styles & voice, like this student of mine who is in her late 60s ruclips.net/video/wBGXUUdTT48/видео.html
@@JeremySee Thanks for your reply. I'm currently being taught by a friend just chords for Christian worship songs but am looking to do more for leisure playing. By the way, Jeremy, how are your fees like? Is it in group setting? So is it fine to get your opinion as I am considering to buy either Yamaha P121 or the Korg EK50 since I have a upright piano which my son is using. Thanks.
excellent video. would be nice to know how this new yamaha piano released in 2018 compares to previous generation, like 2014 models of other pianos (even other manufacturers) in terms of realistic key feel, and sound too. the P121 seems like perfect gigging piano for live playing because of light weight, runs on 12V, and small size, if external PA is used for larger sound. it is easily transportable. but salesmen will always claim that only the $1500+ pianos (like new P515 or older korg SV1) are suitable for professional music playing.
basically i am saying that this piano is being labelled "BEGINNER Portable Digital Piano" for sales purposes however nothing about it seems beginner to me, it seems perfectly pro, graded weighted action and excellent sound with reverb, especially when compared to the best electric pianos from 2012 (less than 10 years ago),try comparing to an old top of the line privia pro stage piano like PX-3, or compare to the older pro Yamaha P-250 digital stage piano (2004). I believe the answer is that this new $500 P121 sounds better than Yamaha's older pro stage piano P250 or CP300 because "The P250 features 3 levels of Yamaha CFIII Grand piano stereo samples" (back in 2004) and this new P121 has "Pure CF" which includes CFIII plus better reverb. now comparing those, P121 vs CP300, would be a great comparison.
True that. Worst are the salesmen who push the expensive *CP* for gigs. If you need to transport your gear yourself, weight is a big factor. I have gigged with CP & with the entry level P series. On most average PA and in a noisy environment, you can't tell the difference!
Jeremy, I think you said layer when you meant to say split. Your playing brings out the best sounds in this piano. Popular as it is, I think the CF sample is still underrated in reviews. I never get tired of hearing it or having it under my fingers on my P-255. In fact, it just keeps growing on me. That it is available in this inexpensive P-121 piano is marvellous. The P-121 is significantly cheaper than the P-125, and only lacks a few keys/notes. I do agree with the suggestion that this is the best deal for an inexpensive Yamaha portable piano. Do you think that digital manufacturers have markedly different preferences in tuning? Different brands sound so very different to me (in tuning) yet throughout one given range there seems to be consistency. I admit to favouring Yamaha tuning (particularly on the CF samples) because the bass notes are always just where I want them, even when the keyboard stops at 73 keys. (I use all 88 keys on my pianos, but only after many years of playing. I can easily make do with 73.) And it's as though the layers of sound vibrate together with just the right beat for me. So have my ears been reprogrammed by Yamaha? Lol.
I don’t understand why the octave shift isn’t a single button press. It’s a great sounding piano, I like the concept for space saving, but wow.., anything beyond a single button press for octave shifting isn’t intuitive. Great review though👍🏽
Hi Jeremy, like your video. I’m choosing between Roland fp30 and Yamaha p125. I really like the sound of Roland, but Yamaha is better for stage and lighter. Can you give an advice? What should I pay attention to?
Is there any way to connect Android phone to the piano so I can play with backing tracks? Need a piano this size with weighted keys with ability to connect phone

In 1988 my dad bought a keyboard that was the equivalent of $2000 in today's money. It had the most realistic acoustic piano voice I had ever heard. When I hear budget keyboards nowadays and entry level digital pianos, I laugh at how terrible that top of the line arranger sounded in comparison.
👍🏽👍🏽This! For any given stage in a device's development - you will get stuff at the 'low' end. But little do we think about it - said 'basic' device would have warranted a price running into many thousands (5-figures even) - just a decade or two ago, & we weren't exactly backward then. The same happens with cameras. Today's 'basic' would have been yesterday's holy grail.
I just played the P125 today and loved it. I'm a beginner and may not need an 88 yet. Would you say the speakers quality, samples, and features are the same on the P121 than on the P125? I can't wait to get either. Please let me know your feedback☺
My yamaha piano (PSR-J20C) is a pure Japanese piano, its made in Japan, designed by Japan and imported by Japan.. and the words are Japanese and the piano speaks japanese, i dont even understand it hehehe... my mom bought it in japan, second hand 20 years ago
The Yamaha P125 has accompaniment features. Are there any apps for the same type of accompaniment for the Casio Privia?? Overall I think the Privia is better but the lack of accompaniment sounds is a deal-breaker.
Jeremy See Im really happy you answer me super quick . I’m also just a beginner .There is so much digital piano in the market confuse me 😖😖 and my budget is under £600.
Does the p125 still have that pretty xylophone sound (I think that’s what it’s called) I love that sound the most that’s why I’m concerned to find out that the p125 will have that sound before u buy it.
I purchased the P-125. It is beautiful. BUT, I would like consumers to be aware the recommended i-UX1 cable (to use the Smart Pianist app) which is recommended uses the outdated 30-pin technology. So, after purchasing I-UX1 for $79.99, I had to purchase an Apple lightning to 30-pin adapter. Also, the reviews state that Apple will soon be discontinuing this adapter. The 30-pin connection is 7-8 years old. YAMAHA - where is the updated cable? We are in the era of smart phones, ipads and lightning cables. This is my only frustration with the purchase.
Hey Jeremy have you been using it all this time? I would really love to hear if any issues appeared with it over time, as am looking to get the 125. Thanks in advance
I was looking into p125 but I live in HK and every inch of space costs a fortune, 121 seems more like a sensible choice, but the thought of being deprived for the missing keys is there. What do you think?
Hey Jeremy, great review, thanks. I want to start to learn the piano, I need the keyboard and an app to learn. My key requirement is that the app and keyboard can be connected to headphones, whilst still working together on key recognition for progress. Any tips/recomendations?
Im' hesitating between the Casio px s-1000 and the Yamaha p-125, wich one has the best hamme action ? I don not care about sound/speakers, I'll use it as a midi controler to play VST
Casio Privias have great key action among budget Digital Pianos ..But this P121 is good too . i havent played this - but looking that way Jeremy played - its pretty good action i think .. But Yamaha Pianos sound better than Casio ..
Jeremy, have you tried the p515? Does the key action in p125 feel comfortable? Will the p125 be good in classical etudes? I am going to buy a piano tomorrow but I am in a big confusion between the 515 and 125. I have a feeling that the 515 is a little overpriced. In the same time I want a piano that lasts at least a decade. What do you think? And please do a video about p 515
Excellent review!! :D, I have a question... Does Yamaha P125 sounds louder than Casio CTK-3500? I'm not sure if the P125 has smaller speakers than CTK-3500
Favourite piano variation? For anyone who is still reading these comments: I promise you that you will/would find good uses for at least three of the piano sounds. It all depends on the situation. I thought I would only use the default Concert Grand CF on my Yamaha, but the mellower sound is very good in a smooth ensemble, when I need to be more discrete and avoid percussiveness. The bright piano is invaluable for boogie and pop. If you play improvised music, try splitting the keyboard with bright piano in the left hand and default CF in the right hand. Your walking basslines will stand out, but you can still do full throttle piano solos with no apparent seam between the two piano sounds. That's very helpful when there's no bass player in the band but you don't want to separate your hands too much.
Hi Jeremy. Newbie here. Can you pls name some affordable digital pianos with built in rhythms accompaniment and have weighted keys as well pls. I lov your channel so much man!!!! Waiting for reply. Thanks.
My P121 had a broken key, so returned it. I looking on Amazon to purchase one. I don't see the P121 on your curated page. I also want to get stickers for the top ends of the keys.
Hi .. Could you please advise me whether to buy Yamaha P125 or Casio Px S1000. Both similarly priced. I want one that will last atleast 5 years (won't be able to afford one more incase it breaks down). Can these be repaired ? Thanks.
Hi Jeremy - not a criticism but rather an observation. But for a few brief observations at the end, this is a very competent (naturally, coming from you) demo rather than a review. For example, you say virtually nothing about the touch etc., and draw no comparisons with possible competition.
Hi Jeremy, I recently got to try the P125 at my local music shop, and I was debating if I can save some money by buying a used P115 instead. The only question I have is the P115 touch sensitive? I don't know if this is the correct term. I mean does it sound softer or louder depending on how hard I press?
Hi Jeremy. Could you please have a comparison between Yamaha PSR-e463 and Roland-e09. I know the latter is quite old compare to e463 but I would just wanna know if it’s still worth buying. Thanks.
Jeremy, I want a good piano to play classical music, I dont need differents souns, I just need a good piano sound and good touch, so I should buy P45 or P125? I love your work 💕
I heard that if you just want piano experience and not so much features, you should opt to buy kawaii es110. Same price range of p125. But they it has superb key action and response that is the same with acoustic piano.
Hi Jeremy great demonstration 👍 I like it very much when you play the instrument you are demonstrating, it gives a far better picture of the possibilities than just demoing the styles (for arrangers), etc. This piano seems very nice even for intermediate players because of its great quality of sounds and high portability. The Line In is a nice feature in this price range to use this as a stage instrument or as a backup instrument. I was wondering if there is any way to adjust the volume of the split/layer voices? Also, can this be used as a MIDI controller or is it just meant for performing? The acoustic harpsichord really sounds nice. Is there also an acoustic clavichord for Baroque music or just the usual electric clavichord for pop music? The light weight of this instrument is just great. My DGX 650 weights 30 kilos and I need some help if I want to move it to another room in the house 😳 Regards 😎
Thanks for your support Vinciane. Yes. Layers and split volumes can be controlled independently. Accompaniment volume also can be controlled. Auto bass can also be turned on and off. The USB port do transmit and receive MIDI. There are 2 Baroque period harpsichord.
Please answer: I was wondering. I wanted to hook up the keyboard to my phone or computer to record. And just found out I can’t with my model. I was looking at the Yamaha p125 but I don’t know what to look for to know if that’s available
Yamaha is the best, louder, also has internal adjustments. I ordered a Kawai ES 110 and a Korg D1, both have a very weak thin nasal sound. Both were returned. I was able to try the P 125 at a store and absolutely loved it. I am a beginner, the keys are lighter and not noisy like the others. I did not try the PF30, but watched many reviews, seems too digital, not as natural as the Yam. If you have the green, buy the Yam P 515. By the way I sold my Kawai ES7, very good instrument in same category as ES 110.
The p125 has a usb audio interface so whatever VST you play on the computer can be routed to the internal speakers of the piano. Does this one have that feature too?
How do the keys feel on this piano? In your video of your top beginner pianos you mentioned yamaha keys feeling plasticy, is that the case here? Also would you recommend the yamaha p121 or the roland fp10 if I have the choice of the two? Thanks.
im debating between the p125 and p515. i'm not a beginner and am used to an acoustic piano, but i don't know if the large price difference between the two piano's is worth it? the p515 definitely felt more authentic when i tried it out in the store, but the sound difference seems to be too small for the price..
@@JeremySee in europe the 515 is more than double the price though. would you recommend saving up and investing? or using the 125 until i buy an acoustic one day (student right now so far future :) )
I also meant to ask you, can you use the Yamaha smart piano app with the P121 to access all the keyboard functions, such as Voices, Styles, metronome, split and dual volumes and control the volumes of the left split, the right split and dual voices and style volumes? Thanks
Only two, you have split OR layer, unfortunately. Split AND layer at the same time with three sounds start at P515 for 3 times the price. I would love to have piano+strings layer and bass split. But is not possible. But all other brands in this price class are equal for this.

Can you please tell me if we can have a split like this: Piano+strings (layered) on the left and only piano on the right?
I think it is not possible, you can only use the division or the layer function, but not both together
You need a more sturdy stand :-)
Thank you for the video. How can I manage the volume when layering 2 voices? Piano and a pad... i want to lower the volume on the Pad
thank you

My yamaha piano (PSR-J20C) is a pure Japanese piano, its made in Japan, designed by Japan and imported by Japan.. and the words are Japanese and the piano speaks japanese, i dont even understand it hehehe... my mom bought it in japan, second hand 20 years ago
Is that the actual sound of the piano through the onboard speakers, or do you have the sound going through an amp?
The Yamaha P125 has accompaniment features.
Are there any apps for the same type of accompaniment for the Casio Privia??
Overall I think the Privia is better but the lack of accompaniment sounds is a deal-breaker.
What is your recommend between Yamaha p125 and Casio CDP-s350 or Casio PX-S1000? Thank you for your answer.
PX-S1000 is the best of the 3. If you do not need arranger function of S350
Jeremy See Im really happy you answer me super quick . I’m also just a beginner .There is so much digital piano in the market confuse me 😖😖 and my budget is under £600.
How come the manual mark 8 songs don’t play properly with 73keys , since it has octive shift (even more range than 88) ?? Weird hay
Hello, does anybody know why the keyboards are designed to be placed standing downwards on the P125, instead of just being made straight flat??
Can you plug your phone into it for backing
Does the p125 still have that pretty xylophone sound (I think that’s what it’s called) I love that sound the most that’s why I’m concerned to find out that the p125 will have that sound before u buy it.
Is the p115 good? I found a second one in great shape
I feel sorry for you that no one responded to your long comment so I'm gonna be replying to it, I have got your back brotha
Lois Slaughter wow thanks for talking about this... now I feel like I should wait up for the next gen?
Lois Slaughter - can you buy a Bluetooth adapter and connect that way?
Does p125 have a dedicated button for half step tranpositions?
6:18 C7 that means D7 and E7 too
Hi jeremy i want to buy my first scaled weighted hammer keys digital piano, which one better, this or alesis recital 88 ?
Thanks for the upload been wating for this, perfect timing I'm looking to buy my first piano!.
If extra space is not a constraint, I would recommend to get an 88 key unit... In the not so long run you will need one with all the keys
Very good reviews and tutorials. Keep up the good work.
Hey Jeremy have you been using it all this time? I would really love to hear if any issues appeared with it over time, as am looking to get the 125. Thanks in advance
Yes, I am using it. And 3 students of mine are also using it. Everything is good.
@@JeremySee i guess i shouldnt really worry this being a yamaha. Thanks m8
I was looking into p125 but I live in HK and every inch of space costs a fortune, 121 seems more like a sensible choice, but the thought of being deprived for the missing keys is there. What do you think?

The Chopin's Fantasie Impromtu in the begining was played on P121? Is it suitable to play pianos's classical music?
Es la cancion de demo que viene incluido en el P121/P125
Hey Jeremy, great review, thanks. I want to start to learn the piano, I need the keyboard and an app to learn. My key requirement is that the app and keyboard can be connected to headphones, whilst still working together on key recognition for progress. Any tips/recomendations?
Jerremy,
Do you know you do not have the Yamaha P121 included on your curated Amazon page?
does it have the transpose function?
the savior of accompanying 😂
Yes! Your saviour is in here!
I was about to ask this as well
Can you make a video on how to use transpose? In yamaha p125
But Yamaha Pianos sound better than Casio ..
you don’t mention software. Does it come with it?
Jeremy, have you tried the p515?
Does the key action in p125 feel comfortable? Will the p125 be good in classical etudes?
I am going to buy a piano tomorrow but I am in a big confusion between the 515 and 125. I have a feeling that the 515 is a little overpriced. In the same time I want a piano that lasts at least a decade.
What do you think?
And please do a video about p 515
Which DAW did u use to record this instrument? I've been recording the same keyboard and it doesn't sound like yours sadly :(
Hi! awesome review thanks
do they have velocity response when conecting to computer ?
Yes.
What is velocity response?
Excellent review!! :D, I have a question...
Does Yamaha P125 sounds louder than Casio CTK-3500? I'm not sure if the P125 has smaller speakers than CTK-3500
Awesome review. Thanks! Does the P-125 have Choir Mix, I see you are sampling the P-121. Please let me know by reply. Thanks
Which is better sir
Yamaha P125 or Casio Privia Px160
Hi Jeremy would a Artesia DP2 be better or the YamahaP121?
Personally I like variation 3 the best, by far. I just feel like the others sound muted and the keys dont respond as well. JMO.
Jeremy,,can you layer two sounds of the same category?? For Eixample two electric pianos??
Hi Jeremy. Newbie here. Can you pls name some affordable digital pianos with built in rhythms accompaniment and have weighted keys as well pls. I lov your channel so much man!!!! Waiting for reply. Thanks.
Can anyone tell me if a stop/start foot pedal can be connected to control the on board drum machine only on a P125?
My P121 had a broken key, so returned it. I looking on Amazon to purchase one. I don't see the P121 on your curated page. I also want to get stickers for the top ends of the keys.
Hi Stephanie, no worry. You can order from this link of mine too. Thank you amzn.to/2WtwYfm
Hi .. Could you please advise me whether to buy Yamaha P125 or Casio Px S1000. Both similarly priced. I want one that will last atleast 5 years (won't be able to afford one more incase it breaks down). Can these be repaired ? Thanks.
Because of your great video i bought one. And you got a new sub.
really thank you for your kind review!
Do the "operations confirmation sounds" go through the outputs also?
Hi Jeremy - not a criticism but rather an observation. But for a few brief observations at the end, this is a very competent (naturally, coming from you) demo rather than a review. For example, you say virtually nothing about the touch etc., and draw no comparisons with possible competition.
Hi Jeremy, I recently got to try the P125 at my local music shop, and I was debating if I can save some money by buying a used P115 instead. The only question I have is the P115 touch sensitive? I don't know if this is the correct term. I mean does it sound softer or louder depending on how hard I press?
P115 is great too if you can get it at a cheap price new or used in good condition.
What piano sample on this instrument? Live! GrandPiano or Natural! GrandPiano ? Thanx
It has the Live! Grand Piano sample as one of the 4 pianos included.
What's that jazzy number he plays around 7:11? Very chill but lively
Hello please what is the name of the classical music playing at the introduction? 00:05 Thanks
Fantasie Impromptu (Op.66) by Chopin
I´m afraid about the p-series humidity polyphony problem but I like this piano very much
Humidity? Could you please explain what do you mean?
Hi Jeremy. Could you please have a comparison between Yamaha PSR-e463 and Roland-e09. I know the latter is quite old compare to e463 but I would just wanna know if it’s still worth buying. Thanks.
Roland is not worth at all but casio ctx 5000
Best review on the P122. Thanks, nobody showed it has internal settings.
Jeremy, I want a good piano to play classical music, I dont need differents souns, I just need a good piano sound and good touch, so I should buy P45 or P125? I love your work 💕
P125 if you can.
@@JeremySee thanks!!
I heard that if you just want piano experience and not so much features, you should opt to buy kawaii es110. Same price range of p125. But they it has superb key action and response that is the same with acoustic piano.
I have a Yamaha YPG 235. I’m looking for a new Digital Keybord because I had it for a long time. Is this worth the trade?
If it's worth it, the sound is much better and the keys will be heavy this time
Is this good for begginer?
i just started learning the piano, what sensitivity setting should I use? Medium, Hard?
Default is fine for most people.
"Hard" would offer the widest range and therefore allows for best training curve if you are motivated to learn and train your mussel control.
My DGX 650 weights 30 kilos and I need some help if I want to move it to another room in the house 😳
Regards 😎
Thanks for your support Vinciane.
Yes. Layers and split volumes can be controlled independently. Accompaniment volume also can be controlled. Auto bass can also be turned on and off.
The USB port do transmit and receive MIDI.
There are 2 Baroque period harpsichord.
Jeremy See Nice features thanks ;-)
Please answer: I was wondering. I wanted to hook up the keyboard to my phone or computer to record. And just found out I can’t with my model. I was looking at the Yamaha p125 but I don’t know what to look for to know if that’s available
Soon. You can't yet buy it in India now anyway.
Does anyone feel like it sounds like a electric piano from the 70s or like a very old digital piano? Or is just my impression?
Please make more Arranger Keyboard Tutorials Jeremy 👍👍
What is the best choice- Yamaha P125 or Roland FP30?
Yamaha is the best, louder, also has internal adjustments. I ordered a Kawai ES 110 and a Korg D1, both have a very weak thin nasal sound. Both were returned. I was able to try the P 125 at a store and absolutely loved it. I am a beginner, the keys are lighter and not noisy like the others. I did not try the PF30, but watched many reviews, seems too digital, not as natural as the Yam. If you have the green, buy the Yam P 515. By the way I sold my Kawai ES7, very good instrument in same category as ES 110.
I am from the Philippines. can i buy the P121 or P125 over you? I can not get you over your site.
You can buy from your Philippines dealer.
But philippines only have drug dealers
Do the keyboard have Bluetooth so you can connect to smart pianist app on every smartphone or tablet
Liam Wallin TV No. You can connect with a cable, or you can buy a Bluetooth Adapter
What is the length ? 120 cm??
The p125 has a usb audio interface so whatever VST you play on the computer can be routed to the internal speakers of the piano. Does this one have that feature too?
It is the same as P125
How do the keys feel on this piano? In your video of your top beginner pianos you mentioned yamaha keys feeling plasticy, is that the case here?
Also would you recommend the yamaha p121 or the roland fp10 if I have the choice of the two?
Thanks.
This is better amzn.to/2LpbRJ7
@@JeremySee thanks for the reply
the P121 can use as a midi controller?
Yes
Excellent demo
Jeremy, can you do a video featuring the live grand with a split left hand bass, to include a jazz or swing rhythm. It may help me to decide.
I know it's a very long time ago but is it possible to alter voice volumes when you combine voices on this piano?
i heard thats there a p125 and a p125A, is there really a difference?
The P125a with the letter A, transfers only midi data by usb, the traditional P125 transfers audio and midi data by usb, that is the only difference.
im debating between the p125 and p515. i'm not a beginner and am used to an acoustic piano, but i don't know if the large price difference between the two piano's is worth it? the p515 definitely felt more authentic when i tried it out in the store, but the sound difference seems to be too small for the price..
Sound isn't much difference. P515 touch is significantly better than P125 and has wooden keys.
@@JeremySee in europe the 515 is more than double the price though. would you recommend saving up and investing? or using the 125 until i buy an acoustic one day (student right now so far future :) )
Save for an acoustic.
Compare sound with a quality headphone recommended on headfi. Speakers are limited.
Which piano sample inside this keyboard? Cf3s or cfx?
CFX
No ....it's cf3s with 4 layer sampling
@@AK-ss6mq They claim it has 5 layer sampling since P121/125.
I also meant to ask you, can you use the Yamaha smart piano app with the P121 to access all the keyboard functions, such as Voices, Styles,
metronome, split and dual volumes and control the volumes of the left split, the right split and dual voices and style volumes? Thanks
Don't know if you still need the answer, but yes, you can. Now also on android
How many Instruments can we put in same time . Layers? 2 or 4
2
Only two, you have split OR layer, unfortunately. Split AND layer at the same time with three sounds start at P515 for 3 times the price. I would love to have piano+strings layer and bass split. But is not possible. But all other brands in this price class are equal for this.
Can you control tremolo speed and depth for say Rhodes/Wurlitzer voices
With tri-pedal you can.
@@JeremySee thanks for the reply do you know how that functionality works with the tri pedal?
