The 'little black book' is where you keep track of the people you've dated, could date or might just make a booty call to. He's saying he doesn't need it anymore because he's in love. :)
Music is my Radar is definitely one of the best B-sides of Blur... And this song explains why I say that... It´s difficult to explain in words the feelings that Black Book awakens in me... Simply transcendental ...
If you download a youtube to mp3 coverter, you can have this version. Google it n you'll get one.

can u or anybody tell me why is everyone discussing about who has the fault of the disrupture or which of them is the best or the most selfish? when and why did this subject begin related to this video?
I'd agree with you about Music Is My Radar but I'd also point to Don't Bomb When You're the Bomb which also has that sort of electronic/funk/rappy sound going on. When was this released btw? I've only heard it for the first time tonight.
Maybe true..But to be fair the others have commended him as a motivating force without whom they wouldn't have taken music seriously as a career...Graham Coxon hasn't done too badly in his solo exploits and had the support of the the British public....
Yeah, I have always treated Music Is My Radar as Damon trying to get the band to go into his Gorillaz world but with the band providing a lot of resistance or they were simply not to keen on the sound. It's a great song but this one is much better.
Actually Mmir initially was meant to be just a bside and damon already had Gorillaz, he never tryed to turn blur into gorillaz. He is the songwriter and band leader anyway, the others dont fight against his direction.
I think you'll find that Damon's alway's been in charge, and that's why Blur have been such a huge success. Damon's arrogantly picky about what goes on what album, and hence Alex James 'Me Me Me' side projects etc. and Graham Coxon's solo stuff - all of which Damon refused to be a part of, and annoyingly he was right - none of it was very good. All the James/Coxon stuff that ever made it on a Blur record, are actually their only good songs...
Lol Never read so much wrong info about blur before. Damon writes almost all the songs, with a very few exceptions. He didnt "refuse" songs from another members, simply bc they dont write for blur, youre so great, far out and alex song are the few exceptions. And Grahams songs are pretty good.

Me too.
:-(. The version I found is nothing like this live version. This live version is amazing. Blur is a great live band.

blur ftw!
does anyone know what damon means by black book?
*Sigh* Damon is wonderful :)
It's kinda better than Music Is My Radar
I think in this case b side stands for better side.
