hassan messaoudi wow so pessimistic. Artists go about things differently - opposing traditional design! They are evolutionary with their ideas compared to most that follow the rules which restricts them from truly exploring their field in a more freely expression.

actually neither were an original idea at all but both very nice. however his were more generic fancy cake and hers practically screamed prom. i think she should have won just based on theme. his execution was a little better then hers but he also decorates cakes for a living. if you look up 'coke can cake', you'll find that it is anything but an original idea and she even admits that but there's nothing wrong with putting your own spin on an old idea.
