Hello! Did you do the elite club?
I did not. To be honest, online before I booked, I saw the perks of the Elite Club and personally I didn’t think it was worth the extra amount.

We did do the elite club and the best perk of it was the private pool. We never had a problem getting one of the cabanas. That alone was definitely worth the extra fee for elite club.
What makes you think the downtown area is unsafe? I’m going to Cancun and downtown was on my list at night

Food is horrible
compared to what? Palace food is a lot better than normal RIU. Food is good here. Not Leblanc fantastic but still good. As good a Royal Caribbean but not as good as Virgin
