Totally incorrect. There was no QE in 2017 and it was the biggest alt season ever. All we need is no QT.

Alt-BTC pairs may indeed need to go lower. However this doesnt necessarily mean alts go lower in fiat terms.
Alts could stay the same or even climb, but BTC out paces them for a short while.
This would bring alts down in relation to BTC in the same way.

The alt season people want is fast money and leaving a sucker holding the bag, and if you actually want crypto to to work and be valued by the masses that shit has to come to an end. Hopefully it already has. The returns are already way above average.

the first alt season never had QE. only one cycle had that. why is it needed to pump. it will just pump in time.. everyone is expecting QE and then pump but the thing is when it happens, markets wont pump

I keep saying it but no one is listening. Alt season in 2017 occurred during QT. Correlation of QE with alt season does not equal causation. Of course it helps to have liquidity, but narrative often prevails, and people try and front run the market even if we are in QT.
It's worth noting that several countries including UK and Canada have introduced rate cuts so the global monetary landscape is turning. Maybe the US Fed will follow soon.
Ben, thanks for your video but please explain how the alt season in 2017 took place while there was QT. At the first of January 2017 the balance sheet was 4,47 trillion and at the end of that year 4,44 trillion. So no QE.
If all coins got Etf, then alt season can come 😊

The thing about selling BTC to buy alts is that you have to pay taxes if it's not in a Roth Ira or something similar. Is it still worth it then?
We haven't made an all ATH on the total market cap .. it is the same as 2021 imagine same money and 100s of thousands coins more

I appreciate your analysis but you keep saying the same, if it boils down to liqudity, FED have other options that QE/QT and what about other metrics like global liquidity, is't global liquidity more important than QE in US?

Everyone is still fairly confident for 10k Eth but not alot of cats saying 360k BTC ...just a thought.
I think the crypto market is topped out, especially for alts. The crash due to recession haven't even started yet so imagine how low the alt market will go. Hold on to your cash guys and look for ways to get more cash cos a once in a lifetime opportunity is coming real soon

I personally think big alts season wont come this cycle. The reason why ? I see too many Crypto fans/influencers are hyping so much for alt season on X.
