I think some of you guys are misinterpreting this. He means starting 5's from a single season, not all time.
Austin how long does it take you on average to make your videos?
Pretty stupid tittle then lol
To be fair...he didn’t mention that
I mean for those that disagree he literally says the season so I don’t see how y’all are confused unless you commented without watching
@@averywoolfe5809 Still. Its pretty dumb how he didn't mention it in his tittle
Lakers rn would be insane if u started Rondo and Dwight and everyone was in their prime
BIG DADDY Ikr 😂
Avinay Bhattarai just called dude daddy
nabil chowdhury why would you want your centers shooting threes
@@fazegregpaul762 funny thing is howard can shoot, he just doesnt
@nabil chowdhury he's a center it's not like he's always at the 3 point line 💀
Whattttt, Serge was definitely better as a thunder, hes a better scorer now, but back then (when big men didn't need to shoot) he was in the DPOY conversation every year
Raptors better because he can stretch the floor
Same with KD
He's still probably better now because of just that shot and the faster feet, it's more his role than his play that's changed defensively
In the same vein, KP was a defensive stud on the Celtics. It seems like this guys is just completely ignoring defense. It’s half of the game and he’s just acting like it doesn’t exist. Unless they’re known as one of the best defenders ever.
They called him "Iblocka" for a reason
2003 Spurs had a 2nd year Tony Parker, a rookie Manu Ginobili, Bruce Bowen, Tim Duncan, and an old David Robinson playing in his last season. That squad all in their primes would tear up the league
OKC with 3 MVPs, DPOY contender and good stretch 4 and Kendrick Perkins
lol
🤣🤣
Perk🤦♂️
Should of Steven Adams
@@areyoucomp6723 Adams wasn't in the league at the time they were all teammates.
Why isn’t anyone talking about how he had t Mac playing power forward
Agreed?? Kawhi at PF is far more realistic
yeah i was thinking the same thing lmao
I thought the same thing
Tbh in this positionless basketball no one really cares anymore plus Tracy is tall enough to not be a liability.
@@jq7352 my thought process lol
2017-2018 cavs :
Lebron
Dwade
Drose
Isiah Thomas
Kevin love
Jr smith
Kyle korver
This team would be hard
I would run it at point, d rose at the 2, wade at 3, bron at 4, k love at center

Bro dame and melo in their prime? That would be fun to watch
True
I would have loved to see that.
🧡💜💘
just watch carmelo with allen iverson, its pretty much the same thing
09 Wade was better than 06 Wade, he just ain’t win a championship
i still want that 2006 wade
No
Yes
Fact
Yes and no; ‘09 Wade was amazing n effective defensively and carried his team completely with no help but ‘06 Wade still gives me chills to how he kept scoring relentlessly against Detroit mainly fuck Dallas but he dominated 27/5/5 on 61% against the best defense of that Era....Wade lost to the Hawks in ‘09 cuz his team was sorry but he didn’t take smart shots throughout the series the very next year 2010,Wade was still in his prime and destroyed averaging 33/6/7 on 56% Boston but lost the series in 5 games 😑😑😑so its really opinionated who was the best Wade...
That Warriors one, all in their primes, bro......
I was just thinking that! lol
Nah that DMC was already injured before being dealt by the Pels. He was never the same after that.
Raymark Canales their saying imagine if all of them in their primes... is
81-1 don't @ me
Someone DMC will find a way to ruin that team's chemistry 😂😂😂😂😂 he an emotional SOB
2016 spurs: parker, ginobili, leonard, aldridge, duncan
That’s just the 13 spurs without T Mac. Like, no.
Omri Bar McGrady over Aldridge
Mr Awesome yea McGrady over Aldridge even though it’s power forward and t-mac is sf/sg
2003 is the best, instead of tmac it’s david robinson
gggyy710 no kawhi tho
The spurs team with Tracy mccgrady would be really good
Prime Kawhi and Prime Duncan together would be absurd defensively. Even Kawhi with aging Duncan was pretty good.
easily the Cavs from a couple years ago number 1
Pg D rose Sg Wade Sf Bron Pf Love C Tristan Thompson
6th Man: Deron Williams 7th man Isaih Thomas
Ok he didn’t say sixth man but if he did u gotta put Kyrie on there the guy was contending for the best PG in the league while on the cavs
@@malakaballz4838 I forgot about him lol im a huge Cavs fan lol that's embarrassing
Kyrie wasnt on that team was he? Wasn't he already in Boston?

But what about Jason kid on the current lakers because he is a assistant coach
Magic
Lincoln Tuckett hahaha
Lincoln Tuckett tim duncan for the spurs
Plot twist
What about Steve Nash right now on the nets? Prime KD, Nash, Kylie, and DeAndre Jordan (ik they haven’t played yet but still)
What about the 1970-71 Lakers? Wilt averaged 50+ in his best year, Jerry had like 31+, and Elgin had 38+, Gail at 26+, and Happy averaged 20.
2000s or more in the description. Honestly would be too hard to search for every single team and find if they have a 38 years old former all nba performer during a good year.
Ethan Hammitt who names their son happy
this is from the 2000 and after
1967 Wilt > 50 ppg Wilt
Listen to the video damn
LeBron was definitely in his prime during those years in Miami.
Well, LeBron doesn't HAVE a prime. We just saw him win that title with Anthony Davis and now he has 4 rings... he has no prime. He's just great overall!
Thats pretty hard to tell, he was in a way better shape physically speaking, but when he left the Heat he improved on a lot of things such as passing, 3ps, leadership etc... So idk.
Miami bron was his peak athleticism but bron in the cavs and now he is developed more skill and better leadership but he still pretty athletic
@@gnhfhlghghfh688 his 3pt percentage and free throw percentage was highest with the Heat
Austin the music sounds fine thank you on behalf of the headphone users
Yeah but not convenient for people who doesn't use earphone

I pray everyone who sees this comment live long and succeed in life.
Bro IT was on the Cavs, so if we make an actual prime squad it should look like this
PG: 2011 Rose
SG: 2017 IT (him and Rose can change up the positions)
SF: 2006 or 2009 Wade (either way)
PF: 2013 Lebron
C: 2014 Kevin Love
Luka Zebic Good point. But I gotta give it to the Cavs he said but shaq instead of Tristen Thompson
Or big zed
It would be T-Wolves K Love.
Nah they'll be too small. Look at what happened to the rockets
Luka Zebic quite small ball
2017-18 Cavs: Derrick Rose, Dwayne wade, Lebron James, Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson (Isaiah Thomas off the bench)
Matt Doherty he said that but actually said 2008
*-XxOriginal_ _AvengerxX-* facts what I was saying
Don’t forget about jr smith and Kyle korver in their primes
Should be IT, Rose, Wade, James, Love since Tmac playing the 4
Bro.....Kyrie?
You should’ve also put the 18-19 OKC Thunder, OKC Russell Westbrook, Pacers Paul George, Knicks Carmelo Anthony, Pistons Jerami Grant, OKC Steven Adams, off the bench you’d have Dennis Schroeder, Andre Roberson, Patrick Patterson, and Markieff Morris, with those players being on their prime team
For the current 2019-2020 Lakers, you have better options instead of prime Danny Green.
-Celtics Avery Bradley
-6th man Henny God
danny playsoff spurs would fit better imo. Bradley is the better player though.
2013 Danny Green was literally on fire
prime JR was one helluva shooter
I would have Bradley back up Rondo. Imagine if the Lakers still had Boogie?
True JR
Honorable Mentions (it was fun to watch this video and more fun to come up with honorable mentions):
2013 Heat (Wade, Allen, James, Lewis, Bosh)
2011 Mavericks (Kidd, Butler/Stojakovic, Marion, Nowitzki, Chandler)
2013 Knicks (Kidd, Smith, Anthony, Stoudemire, Chandler)
2019 Bucks (Brogdon, Middleton, Antetokounmpo, Gasol, Lopez)

2010-11 Dallas can make a case, Dirk, Jason Kidd, Tyson Chandler, Shawn Marion, Stojakovic
I was thinking about the mavs too
There isn’t a shooting guard on that line up, but Caron Butler was on the team that year.
Truly an underdog team that even youtubers forget this team existed lol
@Lance Dela Cruz what about Stojakovic? He was a forward.
They aren't touching any of these teams.
Interesting video, I’ve thought about this from time to time. Some of those teams would be ridiculous good if they were all in there primes at the same time. It would be cool to see you do a video or several videos where you pick the all time starting five of every team. Where you just pick the best players at every position from the entire history of the franchise. It would be cool to see the teams you put together..
Love Your Videos Keep Up The Good Work!
The 2006 heat would be good.
PG- Gary Payton
SG- D Wade
SF- Antoine Walker
PF- Alonzo Mourning
C- Shaq
Yes!
I’ve been looking for a comment talking about the Heat 😂
@@telkadi I know, right?
But they won the title tho

Sf: Prime melo
Pf: current Porzingis
C: DPOY Jokim Noah
Maybe thay wasnt good enough for the video but I dont see anyone in the comments talking about it
That would a nice starting five, though they wouldn't compete with the other starting fives in their primes.
Current pingus is dingus
This was a fire video🔥🔥🔥
I remember when the OKC was all still together, they was litty, and I miss that
Shaq was on the cavs
@Isaac Plavich the 2010 Cavs had LeBron and Shaq, and honestly idc what the other team has, if a team has LeBron, Shaq and Spurs Danny Green along with some role players that aren't THAT bad, the team is gonna dominate
@Isaac Plavich you might be right
That weird ass Cavs team is probably going to be here lol
“KD never has an off night” 🤣
70-71 Lakers:
C - Wilt Chamberlain
PF - Happy Hairston
SF - Elgin Baylor
SG - Gail Goodrich

Happy - 20 pts / 12.5 reb
Elgin - 38 pts / 18 reb / 5 ast
Gail - 26 pts / 3.5 reb / 4.5 ast
Jerry - 31 pts / 7 reb / 6 ast

2006 heat:
Gary Payton
Dwade
Antoine Walker
Shaq
Jason Williams
Alonzo mourning iso j-will
Jason Williams was actually a pretty average player and while Antoine Walker was a good volume scorer he was highly inefficient. Payton, Wade, Alonzo Mourning and Shaq does sound like a scary core, especially defensively though lol
2007-08 Houston Rockets with Alston, TMac, Battier, Scola, Yao, Francis, Brooks, Landry, Chuck Hayes, Mutombo, Wells.
A team with prime Francis Tmac Mutombo and Yao is crazy.
Bonzi along with Mike James were traded midway through the season for the Hornets for Bobby Jackson, so it would be a prime Bobby Jackson instead.
Pelicans got some situation as 2012 Thunder, I hope they keep most of the young guys
The 2019 raptors ain’t too shabby either. 2016 Lowry, 2013 green, 2019 kawhi, 2020 siakam, 2013 gasol. 4 of 5 are all stars and all 5 are all nba defenders.
2008 Houston Rockets:
Steve Francis
Tracy McGrady
Ron Artest
Dikembe Mutumbo
Yao Ming
2008-09 Rockets would be nice, but Mutombo never played PF.
@@Doknot-tb9ey yeeaaa. And neither did Yao, but just liked the idea of having both of them

Pre-2000's: The 1971-72 Lakers starting five at the beginning of the season: Wilt Chamberlain; Elgin Baylor; Jerry West; Gail Goodrich [he is also HOF]; Happy Hairston. That's three out of the five highest career scoring averages in NBA history. Sadly, Elgin Baylor retired 10 games into the season. Even without Baylor, that team STILL set the NBA record for most season wins at the time [69-13], and also set the consecutive wins record [33 in a row] that still stands. They skated through the playoffs and of course took the title that year.
93 Bulls would still be on the list even without changing anything
96, you get peak harper who was great before he injury, jordan pippen rodman and Parish, who is a HOFer and finishined 4th in MVP voitng in 82.

Honestly the 2013-14 Brooklyn Nets in their prime is likely what Prokhorov was actually expecting those players to be that year
2008 Nuggets all in their prime would be insane. Carmelo Anthony, Allen Iverson, Chauncey Billups, Birdman, and Nene

Ya you right i just meant that year and after.
solid list, could’ve also added, the rockets from the late 90’s with Pippen, Barkley, and Hakeem
True, but he mainly said starting five teams of the 2000's.
'85-'86 Celtics could run a massive starting five with Dennis Johnson, Larry Bird, Kevin Mchale, Robert Parish, and Bill Walton. The '84-'85 Lakers also had Magic, Worthy, Kareem, and two other hall of famers in Bob McAdoo and Jamaal Wilkes. It would be a weird starting five but one with 5 HOFers. The '96-'97 Bulls won 69 games and the ring with Ron Harper, MJ, Pippen, and Rodman. Now put Robert Parish (who was on the team) in his prime and you have a 75+ win team.
forgot ron harper was here lol. For the 85 lakers byron scott could replace wilkes to make more sence though wilkes would only defend all game so thats ok. That walton parish backline is scary af, would spend all my money to see prime mcadoo and prime abdul-jabbar going toe to toe with prime walton and prime parish
Not to mention that that game would also feature Magic vs Bird and two other HOF forwards in Worthy and McHale
I gotta go 2019 knicks.... undefeated in the bubble and playoffs....

Great idea u should do another list of the same
Big 4 celtic and prime Shaq (in place of Perkin) is too dangerous. Really well balanced starting 5. At that time, i see Rondo as the 2nd best player in the NBA (behind Lebron). He and KG alone gave the Heat huge trouble in those playoffs.

So you just said for the Thunder that Durants prime was when he was on the Warriors
And for the Warriors you said Durants prime was when he was on the Thunder
Doesn’t make sense to me man. A prime is only 1 part, their best part of their career 🤣 can’t have 2 primes
Other than that. Good video 👍
LeBron had two primes
Morman Freegan no lol. He’s just once in a lifetime player. His prime has consisted of from when he was like 21 to now. His prime has been his whole career. Because he’s so consistent, one of the greatest of all time. He’s never had a bad year. He may have won the championship in 2012/2013 and 2016. That doesn’t define for him as 2 primes, his prime is most, if not the whole of his career. That’s why we put him in the goat conversation
Tracy McGrady wasn’t in the starting 5 for spurs
In their primes, he would be.
Super video! I applauded for CA$10.00 👏👏👏
