      Yes and no; ‘09 Wade was amazing n effective defensively and carried his team completely with no help but ‘06 Wade still gives me chills to how he kept scoring relentlessly against Detroit mainly fuck Dallas but he dominated 27/5/5 on 61% against the best defense of that Era....Wade lost to the Hawks in ‘09 cuz his team was sorry but he didn’t take smart shots throughout the series the very next year 2010,Wade was still in his prime and destroyed averaging 33/6/7 on 56% Boston but lost the series in 5 games 😑😑😑so its really opinionated who was the best Wade...

      Jason Williams was actually a pretty average player and while Antoine Walker was a good volume scorer he was highly inefficient. Payton, Wade, Alonzo Mourning and Shaq does sound like a scary core, especially defensively though lol

    Pre-2000's: The 1971-72 Lakers starting five at the beginning of the season: Wilt Chamberlain; Elgin Baylor; Jerry West; Gail Goodrich [he is also HOF]; Happy Hairston. That's three out of the five highest career scoring averages in NBA history. Sadly, Elgin Baylor retired 10 games into the season. Even without Baylor, that team STILL set the NBA record for most season wins at the time [69-13], and also set the consecutive wins record [33 in a row] that still stands. They skated through the playoffs and of course took the title that year.

    '85-'86 Celtics could run a massive starting five with Dennis Johnson, Larry Bird, Kevin Mchale, Robert Parish, and Bill Walton. The '84-'85 Lakers also had Magic, Worthy, Kareem, and two other hall of famers in Bob McAdoo and Jamaal Wilkes. It would be a weird starting five but one with 5 HOFers. The '96-'97 Bulls won 69 games and the ring with Ron Harper, MJ, Pippen, and Rodman. Now put Robert Parish (who was on the team) in his prime and you have a 75+ win team.

    Big 4 celtic and prime Shaq (in place of Perkin) is too dangerous. Really well balanced starting 5. At that time, i see Rondo as the 2nd best player in the NBA (behind Lebron). He and KG alone gave the Heat huge trouble in those playoffs.

    2008-09 Rockets had T-mac, Yao Ming. an old ass Dikembe Mutombo, a rookie Kyle Lowry and Metta World Peace.

      Morman Freegan no lol. He’s just once in a lifetime player. His prime has consisted of from when he was like 21 to now. His prime has been his whole career. Because he’s so consistent, one of the greatest of all time. He’s never had a bad year. He may have won the championship in 2012/2013 and 2016. That doesn’t define for him as 2 primes, his prime is most, if not the whole of his career. That’s why we put him in the goat conversation
