I miss the days of pastel glossimers and pale baby pink lipsticks - those beautiful girly, icy/classy colors for blondes that were done away with - does anyone remember the glossimers like me? I would buy tube after tube and scrape the sides....

Your skin is so beautiful Abbie. I am trying to change up my beauty routine and try other brands (my 19 year old daughter hates Chanel) but I can’t help it, I love all my Chanel products. To many to name just one favourite but I would say is the water fresh tint. I usually use the Le beiges healthy glow foundation but I brought the reformulated Chanel aqua lumier and I absolutely love it. Perfect for my dry skin and makes my skin look extra dewy. I love using it straight after I have applied my serums, sunscreen and moisturiser and it’s magic in the way it plumps and blurs the skin. Looks fantastic using it as a primer. I have brought quite a few eye stylos eyeliners but although they apply like a dream on top of my eye lid they just don’t last on the water line. I get terrible smudging. Lol I used the purple choc one on Saturday when I went shopping with my husband and as we was talking to me he gave me a funny look and thought there was something wrong with me as he said it looked like I had a black eye. I thought it looked good on me but apparently not. And good to see jersey get a mention again. I actually haven’t been using mine much but gee it’s just so beautiful to spray especially after getting out of the shower. I have been layering Chanel L’eau with jersey and it’s just perfection. I also like to spray it on my French linen sheets just after I have washed my sheets and made my bed.
I hope that we get the new reformulated Aqualumiere!! And I am so sorry- that the liners don't work for you. That is a funny story though. Something my hubby would do too! LOL! AND yes- that combo of L'eau with Jersey is perfection. LOVE. Love. Love!!! I hope you have an amazing day! xoxo

Interestingly, I’m re-reading a book about Coco Chanel, and was reminded that she did not spring from an idyllic or even comfortable childhood. She basically created her preferred version of herself, and her taste in clothing, shoes, handbags and even perfume has never been more coveted or emulated. Pretty impressive.

I recently started using Les Beiges Healthy Glow again. Such a good foundation. My favorite Fall lipstick is 191 Rouge Brulant. So warm and flattering without being a high maintenance red.🧡🤎

Beautiful! However, the concealer was too sheer and (up close) ironically highlighted what I think was to be covered up. And now I’m convinced on water tint. Ordering it. 👩🏻💻
Imelda- often times people will cover the Rose corrector with additional concealer in a skintone shade- so that will help. The Water Fresh Tint is amazing! xoxo
