Nope, iron man was usually a pretty well written character, but if anything endgame forgot about a lot of his actual character development and then it made Tony look worse than how he has ever been. Think about it, not only his hatred created in civil war and his fears/trauma explored in movies like avengers 2 and iron man 3 just disappeared, according to doctor strange Tony would have never sacrificed himself, even to save litterally every creature in the universe, on top of that he would have died with them anyways so technically he didn't even sacrifice himself at all, what was he even scared of?

If 2 didn't exist sure 2 has 1 good thing Justin hammer that's it. Cap has easily probably the best solo film in the entire mcu and an "avengers" movie better then the actual avengers movies
Aside from Infinity War/Endgame, the Captain America trilogy was the MCU at its peak. I'm not sure we'll ever see that level of quality from Disney every again.
It was so satisfying to see the progression Tony’s made throughout these movies that we often overlook. By bringing him down from his high position and rise up to be a hero is the definitive reason why he is the most well beloved character in Marvel.
I feel like it's either the "Gaurdians of The Galaxy" or "Spider-Man" trilogies, I always got at least a chuckle at them, and it just made me love those characters even more than what I did before
@@jcoolguy1548 I just thought that the Thor movies focused way too much on comedy, and the Captain America and Iron Man movies were way too boring to me
The soundtrack of the first guardians movie was the first CD I ever got, it introduced me to old school music. The original guardians soundtrack made me who I am today so I may be biased but its my favorite MCU trilogy.
My fave has to be guardians of the galaxy. The heart, and actual seriousness in those movies is actually great. The stories, the music, and the characters are so great.
Iron man movies always felt so good as a self contained thing. Captain America was great at setting future events up while still being great, and Gaurdians has always had a special place in my heart for how they made me cry.
It has to be the Captain America trilogy for me bc it showed not what it costs to be an Old School Superhero in a World filled with people who's morals fluctuate like the wind. To do what is right and standing by your ideals is what being Superhero is all about🥰🇺🇲
Spider-Man and and definitely Iron Man for me. The first three movies were my childhood, but then these others ones came out for it and it became hard for me to choose a favorite. And of course, Iron Man will always be goated, grew up watching the movies for it too.
For me it was the guardians, Marvel took their less known characters into cinematic gold. They showed how a group of outcasts can bond over their traumas and become stronger and the importance of found family.
Exactly and that's what makes it Soo good it shows that in the first movie and then it focuses on peter and then it tells rockets origin story and ends on a good note especially when the MCU was taking a turn for the worst
The Captain America trilogy is amazing. Not for moments, but for storytelling. Because yeah sure seeing an army of suits is sick, but seeing Cap go from an idealistic perfect symbol to a dedicated man who is a fugitive to the government he swore by is peak. And this was shown through all his films. Whereas the Iron Man trilogy felt like they were all pretty standalone and were weak in the writing department (aside from the first Iron Man)
Bro I agree, like when I first saw Ironman 2, war machine instantly became my favorite suit and the M134 being my favorite gun only made my love for that suit more prominent 😂
It’s definitely Captain America all of his movies are fire i don’t even care to much for Captain America but his movies are insane and First avenger is so underrated
The suit up scenes where you see and hear the moving parts of the armor were my favorite parts of the Iron Man movies. Just hearing the whirring of the armor genuinely feels like ASMR in a way to me.
As a kid I loved armored heroes and War Machine was my favorite for the crazy amount of weapons he used to have on him and that tease in Iron man 1 (Next time baby) got my heart racing. Then to see him in Iron man 2 was everything I wanted outside of the War destroyer.
Just watching any iron man makes me feel like a kid again and it's great, I could have had one the worst day and you just put one on and I would be happy
3 was heavily underrated. People complained about him spending less time in the suit, but I actually loved that: showing that Tony is a badass on his own and going back to the roots of his adaptive ingenuity.
Warmachine is so damn cool I always loved how his weapons are ballistic based and iron man used energy based weapons it makes them feel much more individual from each other while not being too different until Tony starts going crazy with that tech.
War machine’s iron man suit looked so good! The best look for that unit for me is definitely the marvel strike force game look with the white and gray and the red center and eyes looks amazing!
The end of the third iron man movie has a quote that hits hard too. "My armor was never a distraction or a hobby, it was a cocoon, and now I'm a changed man. You can take away my house, all my tricks and toys, but one thing you can't take away - I am Iron Man"
Iron man takes it for redeeming Iron Man’s image. Mind you, prior to this everyone hated him for the events of the Civil War comic run, now he’s a beloved household marvel character, even more so than before civil war.
My biggest regret was not seeing the 3rd one in theaters with my dad. It unfortunately came out around the time I thought I was too cool to see movies with my dad.
In Iron man 1 Tony Stark started off as a rich jerk and did not care for anyone but himself then had a perfect redemption arc and his sacrifice was one of the only things that made me cry

I knew about every cheracter but the guardians of the galaxy ones. Never ever heard of them before those movies. Those movies now hold a special place in my heart
Imo, it's between Captain America, Guardians Of The Galaxy. We got the most variety out of his trilogy. - "The First Avenger", we got a WW2 story MCU style, his origin story. He had the heart of a hero before gaining his abilities. - The Winter Soldier, we got a spy movie like feel MCU style, featuring Black Widow, and Nick Fury. We saw him, a man out of time, trying to adapt to the 21st century, while his past haunted him. - Civil War, we essentially got an Avengers movie, but with the Captain America theme feel to it continuing. He gained back his past best friend (Bucky), but loss his new best friend (Tony Stark). We got a lot of variety with these films and most importantly consistency in quality in all 3. Each of the others have strong standout movies and stories to tell, but all Caps films were high level. Civil War may be the best MCU Film, debatable with Infinity War. I loved Spider-Man" NWH" and "FFH." Homecoming was okay. Volume 1 & 3 of G.O.T.G were amazing films, but like I said, Captain America has the most consistency, and he's not even my favorite character.
So much character development everything came full circle before he died
