I love the dowelmax jig and running out of dowels is my only issue. I ordered a lot more 3/8” than 1/2” and wish I had ordered more 1/2”. Right now, the best price I have seen for hardwood fluted dowels is $69 for 500. It’s about $20 for 100 because shipping is already added into the “free shipping “ price. I had to select the 500 count JAR, not a baggie. I can drop the link if you want
Just FYI, it says that your link is invalid on Amazon. I wonder if one of those pneumatic nail remover things would work to make a 3’ dowel. Straight line force without hammering.
