Jorgensen 60 1/2 block plane tune up and real test.

In this video I am testing the Jorgensen 60 1/2 block plane. I will sharpen the blade and take care of anything needed to make it work. Lets see how much it needed and how well it worked once complete.

Yea, I guess I am a little old school. I like my planes to be a little more traditional. My clothing is never going to be a fashion statement so that is not something to eve consider :).... Thanks for watching....

I noticed the nice heavy weight too when I looked at these at Lowes this morning. The iron is nice and thick too.

I got this block plane from Lowes recently but did notice that the movable mouth is slighty higher than the sole...just wondering if thats a common issue or just mine..

Mine is fine. I would return it and get another one as it shouldn't be like that. I hope it works out for you. I really like mine.... Thanks for watching....
