There are seven members - (in order of singing) Yoohyeon (26), Siyeon (27), Gahyeon (24), Dami (26), Handong (27), JiU (29) and Sua (28) (first Bon Voyage part). They are all from South Korea except for Handong who is from China. Their fandom name is InSomnia. Jiu is the leader, Sua is main dancer, sub vocalist and lead rapper, Siyeon is main vocalist, Handong is sub vocalist, Yoohyeon is lead vocalist. Dami is main rapper, lead dancer and sub vocalist, and Gahyeon is lead rapper, sub vocalist and maknae.
It started in 2014 when a company called "happyface entertainment" debuted a 5 member girl group called MINX (JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Yoohyeon, Dami), this group followed a pretty conventional concept for kpop girl groups at the time (bright and bubbly), unfortunately they could not find success and the group "disbanded" in 2016. However the CEO of Happyface wasn't just going to give up on these girls, he saw their potential and instead of just kicking them to the side (like so many companies would have done) he decided to redebut the 5 girls, they added 2 new members (Handong and Gahyeon) and completely changed the concept of the group to a dark fantasy/horror concept with massive j-rock influence in the music. This group is who we know as Dreamcatcher today, they debuted on January 13th 2017 (which was also Friday the 13th lol) and they have been creating amazing music for over 6 years now. Their sound is somewhat niche in the korean music industry, so they don't really have a strong korean fanbase and the korean general public tends to not really know who they are. However that same niche has helped them garner a moderately sized but very dedicated fanbase internationally. No other group is really making music like dreamcatcher, they are entirely unique in what they do, to the point where industry professionals (like Wendy of Red Velvet, among many others) have stated that Dreamcatcher has their own genre. As a group they are heavily focused on touring and live performance. Their first tour was during their debut year which was quite unheard of for groups at the time, they have held concerts in many places around the world, even going to places that more popular groups have yet to visit. They are amazing performers and have great stage presence, they interact with the crowd extremely well and if you ever go to one of their concerts you're guaranteed to have a wonderful time. It's a real shame that they're not more popular because they are truly one of the most amazing groups in kpop and have great personalities off stage. Seriously, they're some of the most genuine and realistic idols I've seen in all my time in kpop.
Dreamcatcher it THAT group. I'm willing to bet that if you dig a little deeper and listen to a few more of their songs they'll quickly become one of your favorite kpop groups, if not your favorite. Even their b-sides are amazing. You NEED to listen to the b-sides from this album. Demian and Propose will blow you away. Seriously, listen to them, even if you don't react to them, and let us know what you think.
Welcome to the Dreamworld! Thank you for giving them the opportunity and I'm glad you enjoyed the experience! Seems like a lot of basic info has already been covered so I'll just let you know that they are some of the most genuine, sincere artists I've ever been a fan of. They've been through a lot of shit that has resulted in the group and their company having a one big family vibe. Everyone is comfortable around one another so the girls are very much themselves at all times. You definitely feel like part of the family as an InSomnia. (That sounds kind of cult-ish, but it's true. 😂) The journey to learn about them and their music is 100% worth it. Thanks again! Threw you a sub and a like!
Dreamcatcher is the best group in the world without a doubt. Not only do they have crazy live vocals & performances always, but all members are so talented that they could keep switching chorus, pre-chorus, belting notes & rap versus among many members with each song. I haven't found a group that's so capable of doing that ever.
This is a fact. I have stanned so many girl groups but Dreamcatcher's talent really stands out so now I ended up stanning them even more. They can compete with Legendary girl groups in terms of vocals.
That floating fluffball is "Celly", a literal cell lol this is the 3rd and final installment of their apocalypse series, about how the world is dying at the hands of humanity. They do a lot of storytelling throughout their music and videos, they're amazing!
Dreamcatcher is a 7 member girl group. Their title track constantly infused rock genre with other genre. But their bside is a whole new story, diverse in one word. They have been around the scene for awhile since 2017. They come from a small company hence marketing/promotion doesnt reach far and rock isnt a genre for the korean preference. Thankfully, they still manage to pull fans in overseas. Dreamcatcher spilt their releases into series, where each series will last through a few comebacks hence their mv tells a story. Bon voyage is actually the last part of their apocalypse trilogy. We also have the nightmare series that last 6 albums, dystopia series that last 3 albums and 2 standalone albums. that thingy floating is called celly (it is suppose to be a cell(?), lol tbh i still have got no idea what is that creature) Really glad u enjoy bon voyage, looking forward to more!
Dreamcatcher is a group that really had a hard time to be recognize in Korea. Their rock approach of the pop isn't really followed/liked in South Korea, but over time, they acquired a fanbase in other countries. This single, "Bonvoyage" made them win their 2nd Show Champion trophy. Their fandom is InSomnia. Dreamcatcher is my first K-Pop group that introduced me into this gender and the only that I listen offently (discovered them like 1 week ago, so I'm very new to this world.) I would definetly recommend checking out their trilogy with "Scream", "BOCA" and "Odd Eyes", as well as "Déjà Vu" and "Vision".
Welcome to the Dreamworld! Dreamcatcher are very unique. They are the dark angels of Kpop and the only girl group who consistently incorporate Rock and Metal in their title tracks, fusing that with Kpop into something that basically is a new genre. They also are drenched in horror and social criticism, which again is special. Plus, they are massively talented, all of them. And while the girls look like they could rip out your spine when they are on stage, off stage they are adorable crackheads. 😉 "Bon Voyage" is the 3rd and final part of the Apocalypse trilogy, which is about the destruction of the environment by humanity. The members have mentioned that it is about giving nature a break. Any encounter between human beings always has separation attached to it as well, just as death is a part of life. SuA also said that the fluffy floating thing that Dami summons from her painting is a cell. It has been named "Celly" and is adorable! My dark mind believes that they are saying "Have a good trip" to humanity, since we are well on our way of wiping ourselves out. It's like a breakup between humanity and the earth. Once humanity is gone, nature gets the break it needs and the circle will begin again. For me, the key to understanding the lyrics is that they are singing as human beings, not as a single person. And they are singing to nature, confessing their love and the realization that we are not good for nature and that it probably resents us. It could also be the other way round (them singing as mother nature to humanity). SuA jumping out after the dove seem to represent their desire for peace. There are still many things I don't know. For example, why are all three titles in French. 😉 (And why are there 3 Damis with 7 shadows...) The story of the MV seems to be that the rest of humanity has sheltered away under force fields after the apocalypse. This gives nature time to heal. Musically I can already say this is one of their best songs for me. The chorus slaps hard, and the variations between heavy and slow are just beautiful. It has emotion and impact at the same time. Putting JiU's sweet voice together with an acoustic guitar is simply genius. And as a bass player, I can say the slap bass is crazy! I probably won't have to tell anyone that the visuals here are out of this world. I'm going to say it anyways: The members have never looked more beautiful, and the whole team all deserve a raise!

Welcome to the Dreamworld! We InSomnia are a friendly bunch. This is the end of the current trilogy of songs/albums called the "Apocalypse" trilogy. The other 2 parts before this are called Maison and Vision. I recommend checking those out since you've started here at the end. Beyond that they have all kinds of wonderful music dating back to 2017. The "Dystopia" trilogy is very loved by most and is another great set of videos to check out which consist of "Scream", "Boca", and "Odd Eye". There is also the "Nightmare" series of videos which is where they started. Along with stand alone songs in between and loads of amazing B-sides! The main title tracks always have some sort of rock/metal influence mixed in but the B-sides cover pretty much every genre. You never know what you're going to get next on the albums but it's always great. The more you hear and the more you learn about them the more you'll love them.
Good to see you instantly fall with their packages, whether for the song, the vocals, the production, and the beauties... So if you are in for their rock/metal sounds and make a standard based on that, I'm sorry to tell you that you might be get a little dissapointed... Please lower the expectation of the rock/metal, and see them in a pov of a pop group that super creatives in the mixing of rock/metal with other genres... The more irony was that they instantly forgetting Dreamcatcher and not trying to analyze what is the strenght of Dreamcatcher... And my opinion about them, after becoming an InSomnia myself, that they are one of the best music genres blending in the world! Not just for rock/metal elements, but when you hear their B-sides, there are more shocking productions in the mix of reggae, jazz, moombahton, edm, city pop, and more... So I really encourage you to dig deeper in their discography, and I'm sure you'll know what I mean... Stay safe, keep healthy, and have great days

Thank you for your reactions and support for our girls! Welcome to the dreamworld!
Nice reaction. All the songs and albums by Dreamcatcher are masterpieces of masterpieces ! Dreamcatcher's live performances (with showcases) are untouchable ! 👍 You must check them. You will be shocked. 😉 Thanks.
Her Magic ✨ Put a Spell ✨ on my Mind , Her Fire 🔥Puts a Flame 🔥 in my Heart ❤ , Her Power ⚡is like a Thunder bolt ⚡ that strikes my Soul , She is a Legendary Dreamcatcher
Nice reaction, try more of the dreamcatcher, I know there are some of their title track that you hasn't react yet.. but try their B-side also, dreamcatcher is not just known for their rock influence, but also their mix genre especially on their b-side.. please react to Mayday and Silent Night if you hasn't listen to it yet, both are great song but not many reactor has reacted to that songs so.... good reaction btw
Also check out their previous song Reason, a fan song to celebrate their 6th anniversary. It's also very very good. In fact, they have so many good songs that sometimes you just pick one of their songs for the mood, always knowing the quality is amazing. The Pokémon looking thing is Celly. She has to do with the storyline of the Apocalypse Trilogy, in which BONVOYAGE belongs to, along with MAISON and VISION. All three MVs deal with the end of the world, that an environmental disaster, followed by war, would bring. And how a group of Heavenly Goddesses would intervene to save Humanity and Earth, before and after the Apocalypse. Celly was created by them to mend the wounds on the planet. (Just multiply it by a billiion).
WELCOME TO DREAMCATCHER WORLD...TY FOR REACT DREAMCATCHER. PLEASE REACT ALL THEY SONGS. THEY HAVE ALL GOOD SONGS. AND PLEASE GIVE THEY CHANCE TO UP TOO... IF YOU NEW, I SUGGEST YOU START FROM THIS SONG: 1. SCREAM 2. BOCA 3. ODD EYE THIS SONGS PART FROM 'Dystopia Trilogy Storyline'... Ty😊🇲🇾
This song is not about a human relationship. It's about our relationship with Earth 🌎. This is the last part of apocalypse trilogy where they bring up environmental topics.
They were known as a group called "MINX" and it was composed of 5 members : Jiu, Dami, Yoohyeon, SuA and Siyeon. The concept was bubbly (I like bubbly concept). MINX debuted in 2014 with 'Why Did You Come To My Home?' [MV]. But they rebranded it to "Dreamcatcher" and debuted as a 7 member group : Jiu (Leader), Yoohyeon, Dami, Handong (She wasn’t a MINX member), Gahyeon (Maknae) (She wasn’t a MINX member), Siyeon and SuA. Dreamcatcher has been known for their dark concept (I like dark concept too). Dreamcatcher debuted in 2017 with 'Chase Me' MV.

Musically I can already say this is one of their best songs for me. The chorus slaps hard, and the variations between heavy and slow are just beautiful. It has emotion and impact at the same time.
Dreamcatcher is special fam check out their songs vision, screem, odd eye, boca deja vu
When you react to Dreamcatcher's music, legally, you are witnessing the history of Korean music.
This also applies to those watching.
I have her as my wallpaper now lol
