Fantastic video, really enjoyed it. Many years ago when I was a keen walker I could manage easier peaks such as Scafell Pike and Pillar in the Lake District but was always aware of the difficulty of the scrambles on Skye.
Your video really captures the difficulty and exposure of such a climb.

Great video, really enjoyed it! Gives a good sense of the exposure. Sorry about your knee, but on the bright side, at least you didn't rip your trousers! Thanks for posting this.

Weren't kidding when you said you were busy there! Looks fantastic - wish I'd gone up that weekend too, although perhaps some better planning and a bit more time wouldn't go amiss. Will have to give this a go soon.
Oh - while I remember, to get good sound from the GoPro, do you use the semi-open back door? Or is it just a better GoPro/Mic than the HERO 1?
Mine, with the waterproof sealed back door, as my videos show, really allowed for little commentary recording :)... On a nice day I guess there is no reason for the waterproofing (if I'm keeping dust and dirt away from it too).. just didn't think when I went and didn't realise the poor quality until I returned

Yeah it was great weather & conditions up there. I wish I could've done more recorded individual scramble routes but a bruised heel set me back a little bit. Yeah I use the semi open back door as much as possible. I'm not sure if the sound quality between the 2 models should differ.

Much easier than the GoPro footage makes it look, nevertheless not for the faint hearted.

Rather you than me my friend! I leave mountains to mountaineers and goats!
I have never climbed a mountain and I never will! You seem to know your sport though!
I have never been to the Lake District or Snowdonia and my favourite scenery is town and city scenes!
I do like relatively flat farmland too though.
I have been up Cromer Church which is about 160ft but anything much taller than that is too high for me!
I have enjoyed watching your video but it has scared me too!
Be careful! Lol! Mad Bastard! ( only joking ).
