Explanation about Angela act as I see it. We had the reversed Tree - Qlipoth Tree, or Tree of Death. Every Sephirah was influenced by their Qlipoth counterpart. And to return Siphirah to their Qlipoth-free state, we were making suppression of their cores. Every suppression was the opposite of that Sephirah. However, we never made one to Angela. And Angela is based on Carmen. And Carmen was pure self-sacrifice, she never thought about herself, she sacrificed everything, including herself just to plant the Seed of Hope in the hearts of humanity. So Qlipoth influence on Angela should be something opposite to that - the Pride, pure Egoism, sacrifice others for herself. I, actually, predicted that something like this will happen. But...even if the Seed of Hope was weak and incomlete, it was still planted in every living being, so world is not doomed. At least...for now. Do not forget, that Abnormalities are manifestation of all the fears, pain, despair and so on of humanity. So bringing hope will make abnormalities weaker and less of them would be created. And humanity will be stronger as well.
I guess she turn herself into Abnormalities. If Grim is right, she become the core of bad humanity and build "The library of Babel" based on the original facilities. And probably turn the place into the hive for Abnormalities. BTW, not sure what happen to A in true ending, but I guess he get a ending same as Siphirahs. Just my 2 cents.
Sorry, no idea about that. Because I given up to play when I stayed at almost DAY20. It's too difficult that I can't continue. But still want to know about the story, so I watching the broadcast video which the gamer played.
"2 cents" means this is just little opinion. For why I said she become the Abnormality (or monster?) because I thought she may realized she's a existence of Abnormality. Since A didn't like her, even she got the pieces of A's memories, and others perhaps. Here means she think she's a Abnormality, not about physical form. Just my guess. And yes, this game need to take a lot of time to get better equipment. But for me, I'm hard to handle multiple situations at the same time. Also the whole system is too complicated for me. So I given up. Anyway the story from this game is great. Cruel but I think it's OK. I feel Nier: Automata is more cruel than this game, but still powerful. Sorry about my bad English again.
You're right. She want to side with the Abnormalities, not become to them. Perhaps I'm using a wrong saying in English. For why the Abnormalities won't attack her, I'm not sure either. Maybe that's a reason why she took 4 days power of light. It still hard to say why Angela going to do this and what happen next when the library built. Wish can find more opinions by others. At first, I really didn't like what Angela did, but after some thought, I realized that what she did was essentially the only way Lobotomy Corporation could continue. Angela wasn't dooming the world through her very objective point of view, she was helping the world live. She was correcting a mistake Carmen made. If Abnormalities grow weaker with less fear and more hope, the Abnormalities will die. This shuts down Lobotomy Corporation, easily one of the best power plants of the era that humanity is living in, in the game. With Lobotomy Corporation dead because of the Tree of Life creating hope,
It's interesting that the Head can actually handle and calm down the ending where the world becomes a total abnormality hellscape. Shows how powerful the singularities and other technologies the Head possess to mass slaughter that many supernatural entities that can alter reality to their will.

The Head would take care of incidents of such scale.” I believe somewhere else it was stated that it would be cleaned up in a matter of a couple of weeks. So yes the head is unimaginably powerful, and Adam just heavily underestimated the capabilities of them at the point of time.
So the 100% ending shows us that Library of Runia is a sequel, having the short hair and being in "the library" it seems you might be able to revive some of the Sephirahs as well (you see netzach in the trailer, could just be a filler character since he is popular). She locked herself in the unknown library which sought knowledge, turning people into books based off of their desires

When I first watched it I was all in WTF state: So we did all that to destroy they world?! And then Angela killed everyone and became the queen of abnormalities?!... But now that you explained it, I can actually see the point to all of this. This actually makes sence as that the world was actually saved, so thanks!
Sam Le Yeah, but the was saved because people were doomed to succumb to abnormalities without hope, and we gave everyone the seed of hope. Now less abnormalities will be created, as people with hope will be more resistant to being twisted, and they will find ways to protect themselves. Although Angela released all the abnormalities, she chose to live in peace with them instead of becoming a super villian, and she went to create a library of all unknown (abnormalities) so that people wouldn't fear them. So yeah, some chaos unleashed, but a chance of survival created, meaning we saved the world. And there is more to the story - the devs are planning a sequel! Yaaay!

Sam Le not yet, not even close. Tgey are still patching up Lobotomy from bugs and issues to ensure quality, so the sequel will be years later. At this point I'm not even sure if it would be in the same genre, but I'm certain I'd love anything they do :D

i watched this because i was curious what the endings actually were and then i remembered lobotomy corp was a indie game made by a small team with a low budget and not very good translators, so this was just sorta funny, and a bit weird without context since the wiki doesnt explain ayins lore well

My theory is that you properly become Kether due to the Seed of Light process, and Angela shuts you off since all the A.I. and Sephirah (and all the Agents technically) are supposed to cease functioning once the corporation ends. ...The problem being that the early access stuff for Library of Ruina shows that none of the Sephirah actually went to sleep. >.>

You heard the end of the ending that Angela told us to go to sleep, we ( manager) realized that she is going to "kill" us but we cant do anything, so our faces darkened in fear. That is why Angela asked us: "What is with the faces" and she said: It is the rest ( rest like sleep, not working) you wanted, following a crushing meaty sound of the "hydraulic press" that was seen killing the boy Tiphereth. So i supposed she turned him into the sephira or just kill and nothing else.
@@ED_667 that's an inconsistency, since all of the Sephirah are shown to still be around for the White Night in the early cutscenes for Library of Ruina. It does explain that the Librarian is the player from the first game though.

Ending Able: X is not ready to make a decision, so Able tells him to turn back and restart the cycle so that he can fully realize his mind. Ending Abram: X is overcome with guilt and taken over by Abram, deciding to bury the project and stop the script sure that they cannot finish it what Carmen began. Ending Adam: X is overcome by the incomplete understanding of the Script, thinking that ultimately mutates into a perverted interpretation. Instead of allowing everyone to manifest their EGO, the incomplete light instead acts as a radiated Cogito from Carmen that apparently turns most of the people in the City into Abnormalities. The objective to overthrow the Head is accomplished, that’s what she wanted, but not by forcing everyone to be a manifestation of Carmen. Ending Ayin/True: Angela steals the light and prompts the events of Library of Ruina.
Well, 3 days of hope is a good ending, as we still brought the hope for all living creatures (so abnormalities would now be much weaker). Not as big one as we wanted, but at least something!

Looking at the tree of life remaining option, she can only be Da'at. But that position in the tree of life has Carmen's brain in it. So I theorized that Angela is the qliphoth version of Carmen since she's similar in design yet so different from her.
Gebura can solo all the Abnormalities in the facility.Binah stronger than Gebura.Head have dosens of arbiters on the level of Binah or higher+thousands claws on the level of weakest color fixer.Head also have all singularitys. So Head low diff 3 ending.
@@zefi4655 I wouldn't say that Binah is stronger than Gebura, after all Kali had to handle a bunch of claws, abnormalities and then get to Garrion, and they both died, I'd say that Gebura is stronger than Binah by a small margin

Really late to comment now but would be really cool if you had to supress angela with the help of the other sephirah using their abilities in each departament and angela causing meltdown on the own sephirahs and even stealing your energy to call the rabbit team on the employes

В идеале луч должен был светить 7 дней, тем самым почти полностью уничтожая большинство аномалий и предотвращая их появление. Однако из-за Анжелы он просветил лишь 3 дня и сработал не в полную силу. Теперь почему Анжела так поступила. Мы начинаем в каббалистическом Древе Смерти (Дереве Клипот), которая является перевёрнутым верхногами Древом Жизни (Деревом Сефирот). Поэтому каждая из Сефирот была подвержена влиянию своей Клипот-противоположности. Когда мы подавляем их ядра - мы убираем это "клипот" частичку из них, превращая их в полноценных Сефирот. Потому подавив всех и перевернув верхногами "дерево" (комплекс), мы получили Древо Жизни. Однако, Анжелу мы не подавляли, а потому она была всё ещё подвержена своему клипот-антиподу. Не совсем понимаю вопрос. Лиза и Енох были подобраны сиротами на улице. Енох рано повзрослел и хотел помогать Кармен и А, а Лиза хотела беззаботные деньки и проводить время с Енохом. В результате экспериментов, Енох погиб, а Лиза возненавидела Кармен. Когда же они стали Сефирами АИ - тут уже другая ситуация. Енох постоянно вспоминает свои давние мечты, и "ломается", становится непригодным для работы. Его заменяют новым, но каждый раз всё больше дефектов возникает и он каждый раз не помнит проведенное с Лизой время (ведь это новый, с нуля). Для Лизы это очень больно и она просит отключить Еноха, чтобы больше никогда не видеть его в таком состоянии и больше не страдать. Она считает, что может справиться со всем сама и не хочет ни к кому привязываться. И она до сих пор хочет спокойной беззаботной жизни.
Простите, я не понял как получить истинную концовку. У меня выполнены все задания и открыты все концовки в том числе та что после 50 дня.. но нет 100% семени света...я не понимаю почему не открыта концовка.
So this game is a hypothetical future. A very possible one though since abnormalities as this game put it. Are rare irl. But do happen if yer willing to look for em seriously. I am very confused, so Angela was basically the antagonist of the story?, and for the information I saw about her is that, she doesn't care about the employees, and only wants progression. It also said that she was lying to X about her objectives, and she was an insurgent and she wanted the corporation to fail or watch it collapse. Then I read that she was wiping X's memory at day 20 I think. Now my mind is telling me that basically Humanity will be no more and mostly everything was lost and all the Abnormalitys dominated the world, along with Angela making type of new era?.
Not exactly. Angela is based on Carmen memories. All other sephirah were opposite to what they are, until A supporessed them and released form the suffering. Everyone, but Angela. And Carmen was all about everyone else, so Angela is maximum selfish. Angela was lying only because she was programmed to. She was programmed to aim A until A can finally break all the seals and light the Tree of Life. However, she was not programmed to do anything afterwards, so she was forsed to re-live all the events for thousands, hundreds of thousands times, without loosing memory, until A succeed, so that made a mark on her. And after everything ended, program was ended and was not holding her anymore, so she went her own way. People were just a mirrage to her, while abnormalities were much more real, after all those thousands of re-tries, so she went on their side and created a Library of Ruin (btw it is new game, will release in 2020).
My game bugged out. I finished Day 50 but I didn't get the 100% Seed of Life, so I assumed the game ended rather abruptly. Does this mean I need to redo Day 50 until it shows up or am I missing something?
Oh right... well that could be pointed out in the description. It merely says that you gotta do all the quests and suppressions, nothing about 100%ing the game (not just beating Day 50) because I assumed it was a bug.
So basically is Evangelion but without Big Ass Mech Fights. Because. The ending Is so confusing, that you need to wacth it over and over again until you understand ir you go insane ... Or both ... Or until you get so confused that you decided that you will juts leave alone and play a game with a history that actually make Sense.
Kind of hard to believe A was intelligent enough to turn everyone into brain-in-a-jar hybrid AIs, perfect a form of time travel, and set up a nearly perfect "amnesia script" to ensure this project was seen to fruition, but wasn't smart enough to see the possibility of an all powerful AI growing beyond its human template ambitions...and, you know, designing a contingency to it to stop it from destroying this project he sacrificed literally EVERYTHING to make happen. Always something I've hated about "twist" villains. They get a total logic pass in favor of shock value.

Анжела нам прямо говорит это на одном из дней "когда цикл фейлится, я вношу некоторые изменения и перезапускаю всё с начала". Древу Жизни наверное препятствовали страхи, грехи и желания человеческие? Всё-таки мы их превозмогаем и очищаем всё.
Хм... если рассматривать все с точки зрения того что мы играем за ИИ тогда весь игровой процесс это 49дневное самоподавление. И вероятно луч древа жизни каким то образом по силе зависит от чистоты тех кто его запускает... поэтому надо не просто почистить само древо подавив всех Сефирот, но и избавиться от тьмы в самом себе...
Почему тогда, по-твоему, дни 46-50 это подавления Кетера, который является разными версиями А? Естественно нужно очистить все ветки Древа, включая нас самих.

Nah she was just pissed at Ayin (A) because he litteraly created her in the sole goal to watch people suffering for a couple of thousands of years (at least for her) and well, commiting suicide at the end of it. She managed to steal about half the light required for her to leave the damn place, but she was stopped by the sephiroths (except binah), hence why library of ruina is happening

this makes sense, since by superposing the Kabbalistic tree of life onto the corporation, the spot where Carmen's body is kept coincides with the position of the Sephirah Da'at. so it could make sense that Angela is an extremely advanced Sephirah.@@TheSaival
So... I got ending A and if I press continue i have to repeat day 46... Does it mean that I have to RESTART from day 1???? Do I keep the EGO weapons/armors like a new game+?
Yes, you need to restart, because you unlock Days 47+ only after suppressing all Cores (aka boss fights). Restart from Day 1 will reset only your Agents and days, everything else (mission progress, weapons and armor, abnormalities progress) will not be reseted. You need one or two resets for true ending anyways (it is explained in lore/story).

They care enough to do horrible things to very a few people just so that the rest of humanity would be kept safe and in ignorance until they have to hit the reset button again.

Absolutely amazing game. Was incredibly good up until the end. The "true" ending was very poorly written. They did all this for some stupid hope inside people's hearts? I'mpretty sure you can do all of this with a book.. or a song.. or a video game.. or anything of the sorts. Going through endless torture and sacrifice just to do that is.. uhm.. painfully idiotic and meaningless. Honestly, I liked the Lust for Power ending more. Manager/sephirah get to live. The humans and the world return to their primordial state (that of chaos). The greedy inhumane rulers of this dystopian world get to witness all their empire crumble to dust. It may not be a "true" ending, but it's definitely a much better written one.
Well, you can never be sure that a book, song, or game showcasing hope would actually stick in people's heart. By the look of the city in that one shot, and the sheer amount of dangerous Abnomalities stored in the facility (which we can barely even contain), the outside world is most likely a Dystopia where everything is already shit. That's the point. All the bad things that are happening are directly responsible for the Abnomalities, spawning them, making them stronger. Using different medias to uplift people spirit could work, yes. But only for a time. There will inevitably be the corrupts, the ones who despaired and shut themselves out, whose's heart could not be reach by normal means, and they are the most dangerous. Saying a book, song, or game could accomplish all this would be like saying "If everyone is able to read the same book, it will produce the same result, and none would turn into murderer, dictator, or warlord." That's not how human work. We are too independent, too varies in personality for a such a change. Not to mention it would take too much time to distribute standard information or music with no guarantee everyone will bother to try it, and time is something this world likely did not have. If you have seen Evangelion, then this is basically that. This project, if allowed to complete, will fully transform/restore/purify the whole of humanity, leaving none behind. A [Reset], if you will. The "Hope" that get planted into every living person have actual power here (pure, unfiltered MacGuffin magic, if you will), and if succeeded, will drastically weaken if not completely eliminate all Abnomalities, or at least make their power/properties so weak that they won't be a threat anymore. I'm not saying the ending was perfect, far from it. But i do appreciate the message and what it tried to convey. Hope always shine the brightest in the dark, and even though it is always smaller than all the negativity of other emotions (3 days of light, 4 nights of darkness), it is still there. And as long as the seeds of hope is planted, no matter how small and pathetic it is, it still matter. It's mean there is still a future, and we just need to build it.

The thing is, their goal was for fully mature seeds of hope to be planted within people's hearts. "The light was supposed to shine for seven days, but it only shone for three instead." As a result, only incomplete seeds were planted within humanity. I believe that is where the intelligence of this ending lies : in its fatality. After everything you did as "Manager", the meltdowns, the managements, the breaches, and death upon death upon death, after multiple cycles of living through all these ordeals (pun not intended), and fully researching every Abnormality... Technically ? You failed. Carmen, and by proxy, Ayin's plan, failed. It's a tragedy in the sense that despite the sheer amount of work you put into gathering energy, understanding Abnormalities and getting to progressively uncover the secrets of the world, even with quite literally ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD, you were never able to fully complete Carmen's goal. And yet, there is but the faintest glimmer of hope within those three days during which the light shone upon the city.
Not exactly? It does use the core concept, though (Abnormalities basically are SCPs). The world is pretty different though, and there isn't an "SCP Foundation" (is that the name?) per say, since L Corp kinda shuts down as seen in the ending, and the world's a bit of a dystopia. If the world interests you, I'd check out Library of Ruina. Just be warned that the difficulty spike is rather steep
I'm so glad I didn't play the game fully for this fucking incomplete ending. I know I know something good came from it but I don't want to spend hundreds of hours in this game that I'm playing solely for the story to be disappointed by the story. Fuck this shit. Imma just pretend it was at least 5 days, and not 3.

And Carmen was pure self-sacrifice, she never thought about herself, she sacrificed everything, including herself just to plant the Seed of Hope in the hearts of humanity. So Qlipoth influence on Angela should be something opposite to that - the Pride, pure Egoism, sacrifice others for herself. I, actually, predicted that something like this will happen. But...even if the Seed of Hope was weak and incomlete, it was still planted in every living being, so world is not doomed. At least...for now.
Do not forget, that Abnormalities are manifestation of all the fears, pain, despair and so on of humanity. So bringing hope will make abnormalities weaker and less of them would be created. And humanity will be stronger as well.
I guess she turn herself into Abnormalities. If Grim is right, she become the core of bad humanity and build "The library of Babel" based on the original facilities. And probably turn the place into the hive for Abnormalities.
BTW, not sure what happen to A in true ending, but I guess he get a ending same as Siphirahs.

For why I said she become the Abnormality (or monster?) because I thought she may realized she's a existence of Abnormality. Since A didn't like her, even she got the pieces of A's memories, and others perhaps. Here means she think she's a Abnormality, not about physical form. Just my guess.
And yes, this game need to take a lot of time to get better equipment. But for me, I'm hard to handle multiple situations at the same time. Also the whole system is too complicated for me. So I given up.
Anyway the story from this game is great. Cruel but I think it's OK. I feel Nier: Automata is more cruel than this game, but still powerful.

At first, I really didn't like what Angela did, but after some thought, I realized that what she did was essentially the only way Lobotomy Corporation could continue. Angela wasn't dooming the world through her very objective point of view, she was helping the world live. She was correcting a mistake Carmen made.
If Abnormalities grow weaker with less fear and more hope, the Abnormalities will die. This shuts down Lobotomy Corporation, easily one of the best power plants of the era that humanity is living in, in the game. With Lobotomy Corporation dead because of the Tree of Life creating hope,

It's interesting that the Head can actually handle and calm down the ending where the world becomes a total abnormality hellscape. Shows how powerful the singularities and other technologies the Head possess to mass slaughter that many supernatural entities that can alter reality to their will.

I believe somewhere else it was stated that it would be cleaned up in a matter of a couple of weeks. So yes the head is unimaginably powerful, and Adam just heavily underestimated the capabilities of them at the point of time.
So the 100% ending shows us that Library of Runia is a sequel, having the short hair and being in "the library" it seems you might be able to revive some of the Sephirahs as well (you see netzach in the trailer, could just be a filler character since he is popular). She locked herself in the unknown library which sought knowledge, turning people into books based off of their desires

When I first watched it I was all in WTF state: So we did all that to destroy they world?! And then Angela killed everyone and became the queen of abnormalities?!... But now that you explained it, I can actually see the point to all of this. This actually makes sence as that the world was actually saved, so thanks!
Sam Le Yeah, but the was saved because people were doomed to succumb to abnormalities without hope, and we gave everyone the seed of hope. Now less abnormalities will be created, as people with hope will be more resistant to being twisted, and they will find ways to protect themselves. Although Angela released all the abnormalities, she chose to live in peace with them instead of becoming a super villian, and she went to create a library of all unknown (abnormalities) so that people wouldn't fear them. So yeah, some chaos unleashed, but a chance of survival created, meaning we saved the world. And there is more to the story - the devs are planning a sequel! Yaaay!

My theory is that you properly become Kether due to the Seed of Light process, and Angela shuts you off since all the A.I. and Sephirah (and all the Agents technically) are supposed to cease functioning once the corporation ends.
...The problem being that the early access stuff for Library of Ruina shows that none of the Sephirah actually went to sleep. >.>

You heard the end of the ending that Angela told us to go to sleep, we ( manager) realized that she is going to "kill" us but we cant do anything, so our faces darkened in fear. That is why Angela asked us: "What is with the faces" and she said: It is the rest ( rest like sleep, not working) you wanted, following a crushing meaty sound of the "hydraulic press" that was seen killing the boy Tiphereth. So i supposed she turned him into the sephira or just kill and nothing else.

Ending Abram: X is overcome with guilt and taken over by Abram, deciding to bury the project and stop the script sure that they cannot finish it what Carmen began.
Ending Adam: X is overcome by the incomplete understanding of the Script, thinking that ultimately mutates into a perverted interpretation. Instead of allowing everyone to manifest their EGO, the incomplete light instead acts as a radiated Cogito from Carmen that apparently turns most of the people in the City into Abnormalities. The objective to overthrow the Head is accomplished, that’s what she wanted, but not by forcing everyone to be a manifestation of Carmen.

Looking at the tree of life remaining option, she can only be Da'at. But that position in the tree of life has Carmen's brain in it. So I theorized that Angela is the qliphoth version of Carmen since she's similar in design yet so different from her.
I'm very curious how the Head or maybe how the Hana would of handled ending 3 if it was cannon what do you think would of happened?
According to another commenter, the head canonically cleaned up ending 3 within 2 weeks, though I'm not sure where he found that out.

Концовка 4 (я так понимаю ты о ней, а не о третьей?) - это когда мы всё выполнили и пустили луч света. Теперь поподробнее. Аномалии это манифестации страхов, боли и отчаянья людей, а потому когда мы подарили людям свет и надежду - аномалии ослабли, новые аномалии перестали так часто появляться. В идеале луч должен был светить 7 дней, тем самым почти полностью уничтожая большинство аномалий и предотвращая их появление. Однако из-за Анжелы он просветил лишь 3 дня и сработал не в полную силу.
Теперь почему Анжела так поступила. Мы начинаем в каббалистическом Древе Смерти (Дереве Клипот), которая является перевёрнутым верхногами Древом Жизни (Деревом Сефирот). Поэтому каждая из Сефирот была подвержена влиянию своей Клипот-противоположности. Когда мы подавляем их ядра - мы убираем это "клипот" частичку из них, превращая их в полноценных Сефирот. Потому подавив всех и перевернув верхногами "дерево" (комплекс), мы получили Древо Жизни. Однако, Анжелу мы не подавляли, а потому она была всё ещё подвержена своему клипот-антиподу. Кармен (а Анжела была основана на ней) была сама доброта, она жертвовала всем ради других. А потому её клипот-антипод - будет жертвовать другими ради себя, как Анжела и поступила в итоге. Не совсем понимаю вопрос. Лиза и Енох были подобраны сиротами на улице. Енох рано повзрослел и хотел помогать Кармен и А, а Лиза хотела беззаботные деньки и проводить время с Енохом. В результате экспериментов, Енох погиб, а Лиза возненавидела Кармен. Когда же они стали Сефирами АИ - тут уже другая ситуация. Енох постоянно вспоминает свои давние мечты, и "ломается", становится непригодным для работы. Его заменяют новым, но каждый раз всё больше дефектов возникает и он каждый раз не помнит проведенное с Лизой время (ведь это новый, с нуля). Для Лизы это очень больно и она просит отключить Еноха, чтобы больше никогда не видеть его в таком состоянии и больше не страдать. Она считает, что может справиться со всем сама и не хочет ни к кому привязываться. И она до сих пор хочет спокойной беззаботной жизни.
Простите, я не понял как получить истинную концовку. У меня выполнены все задания и открыты все концовки в том числе та что после 50 дня.. но нет 100% семени света...я не понимаю почему не открыта концовка.
100% это подавить всех сефир, после чего пройти 49й день. При этом выбирай не "..." вариант каждый раз, а там где какой-то текст.

I am very confused, so Angela was basically the antagonist of the story?, and for the information I saw about her is that, she doesn't care about the employees, and only wants progression. It also said that she was lying to X about her objectives, and she was an insurgent and she wanted the corporation to fail or watch it collapse. Then I read that she was wiping X's memory at day 20 I think. Now my mind is telling me that basically Humanity will be no more and mostly everything was lost and all the Abnormalitys dominated the world, along with Angela making type of new era?.
Not exactly. Angela is based on Carmen memories. All other sephirah were opposite to what they are, until A supporessed them and released form the suffering. Everyone, but Angela. And Carmen was all about everyone else, so Angela is maximum selfish. Angela was lying only because she was programmed to. She was programmed to aim A until A can finally break all the seals and light the Tree of Life. However, she was not programmed to do anything afterwards, so she was forsed to re-live all the events for thousands, hundreds of thousands times, without loosing memory, until A succeed, so that made a mark on her. And after everything ended, program was ended and was not holding her anymore, so she went her own way. People were just a mirrage to her, while abnormalities were much more real, after all those thousands of re-tries, so she went on their side and created a Library of Ruin (btw it is new game, will release in 2020).

My game bugged out. I finished Day 50 but I didn't get the 100% Seed of Life, so I assumed the game ended rather abruptly.
Does this mean I need to redo Day 50 until it shows up or am I missing something?
You need to learn all abnormalities and tools (except additional support ones) at 100% as well.
Oh right... well that could be pointed out in the description. It merely says that you gotta do all the quests and suppressions, nothing about 100%ing the game (not just beating Day 50) because I assumed it was a bug.

Because. The ending Is so confusing, that you need to wacth it over and over again until you understand ir you go insane ... Or both ... Or until you get so confused that you decided that you will juts leave alone and play a game with a history that actually make Sense.
Kind of hard to believe A was intelligent enough to turn everyone into brain-in-a-jar hybrid AIs, perfect a form of time travel, and set up a nearly perfect "amnesia script" to ensure this project was seen to fruition, but wasn't smart enough to see the possibility of an all powerful AI growing beyond its human template ambitions...and, you know, designing a contingency to it to stop it from destroying this project he sacrificed literally EVERYTHING to make happen.
Always something I've hated about "twist" villains. They get a total logic pass in favor of shock value.

Проходить нужно было к тому, чтобы в конце-концов таки пройти. Анжела нам прямо говорит это на одном из дней "когда цикл фейлится, я вношу некоторые изменения и перезапускаю всё с начала". Древу Жизни наверное препятствовали страхи, грехи и желания человеческие? Всё-таки мы их превозмогаем и очищаем всё.

Почему тогда, по-твоему, дни 46-50 это подавления Кетера, который является разными версиями А? Естественно нужно очистить все ветки Древа, включая нас самих.

Nah she was just pissed at Ayin (A) because he litteraly created her in the sole goal to watch people suffering for a couple of thousands of years (at least for her) and well, commiting suicide at the end of it. She managed to steal about half the light required for her to leave the damn place, but she was stopped by the sephiroths (except binah), hence why library of ruina is happening

this makes sense, since by superposing the Kabbalistic tree of life onto the corporation, the spot where Carmen's body is kept coincides with the position of the Sephirah Da'at. so it could make sense that Angela is an extremely advanced Sephirah.@@TheSaival

Yes. If you fail days 46-49, you can get their endings.

Yes, you can go back to day 1 and still have your EGO equipment
Yes, you need to restart, because you unlock Days 47+ only after suppressing all Cores (aka boss fights). Restart from Day 1 will reset only your Agents and days, everything else (mission progress, weapons and armor, abnormalities progress) will not be reseted. You need one or two resets for true ending anyways (it is explained in lore/story).
This is why its the SCP foundation that is in charge, they actually cared about humanity

To be fair, you're not wrong.
The methods are horrible and downright abominable acts in the eyes of life itself, but they do care.
They care enough to do horrible things to very a few people just so that the rest of humanity would be kept safe and in ignorance until they have to hit the reset button again.
To quote from the scp foundation,

Absolutely amazing game. Was incredibly good up until the end. The "true" ending was very poorly written. They did all this for some stupid hope inside people's hearts? I'mpretty sure you can do all of this with a book.. or a song.. or a video game.. or anything of the sorts. Going through endless torture and sacrifice just to do that is.. uhm.. painfully idiotic and meaningless.
Honestly, I liked the Lust for Power ending more. Manager/sephirah get to live. The humans and the world return to their primordial state (that of chaos). The greedy inhumane rulers of this dystopian world get to witness all their empire crumble to dust. It may not be a "true" ending, but it's definitely a much better written one.
Well, you can never be sure that a book, song, or game showcasing hope would actually stick in people's heart.
By the look of the city in that one shot, and the sheer amount of dangerous Abnomalities stored in the facility (which we can barely even contain), the outside world is most likely a Dystopia where everything is already shit.
That's the point. All the bad things that are happening are directly responsible for the Abnomalities, spawning them, making them stronger. Using different medias to uplift people spirit could work, yes. But only for a time. There will inevitably be the corrupts, the ones who despaired and shut themselves out, whose's heart could not be reach by normal means, and they are the most dangerous. Saying a book, song, or game could accomplish all this would be like saying "If everyone is able to read the same book, it will produce the same result, and none would turn into murderer, dictator, or warlord." That's not how human work. We are too independent, too varies in personality for a such a change. Not to mention it would take too much time to distribute standard information or music with no guarantee everyone will bother to try it, and time is something this world likely did not have.
If you have seen Evangelion, then this is basically that. This project, if allowed to complete, will fully transform/restore/purify the whole of humanity, leaving none behind. A [Reset], if you will. The "Hope" that get planted into every living person have actual power here (pure, unfiltered MacGuffin magic, if you will), and if succeeded, will drastically weaken if not completely eliminate all Abnomalities, or at least make their power/properties so weak that they won't be a threat anymore.
I'm not saying the ending was perfect, far from it. But i do appreciate the message and what it tried to convey. Hope always shine the brightest in the dark, and even though it is always smaller than all the negativity of other emotions (3 days of light, 4 nights of darkness), it is still there. And as long as the seeds of hope is planted, no matter how small and pathetic it is, it still matter. It's mean there is still a future, and we just need to build it.
Well the "hope" actually prevents abnormalities from being made and makes them weaker.
It reminds me of dark souls, the age of dark ending is so much better but its non cannon

That's exactly what happened in the sequel, although still controllable. If you don't know what that means, people become half-abnormalities and wreck havoc in the City.
The thing is, their goal was for fully mature seeds of hope to be planted within people's hearts. "The light was supposed to shine for seven days, but it only shone for three instead." As a result, only incomplete seeds were planted within humanity.
I believe that is where the intelligence of this ending lies : in its fatality.
After everything you did as "Manager", the meltdowns, the managements, the breaches, and death upon death upon death, after multiple cycles of living through all these ordeals (pun not intended), and fully researching every Abnormality...

Carmen, and by proxy, Ayin's plan, failed.
It's a tragedy in the sense that despite the sheer amount of work you put into gathering energy, understanding Abnormalities and getting to progressively uncover the secrets of the world, even with quite literally ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD, you were never able to fully complete Carmen's goal. And yet, there is but the faintest glimmer of hope within those three days during which the light shone upon the city.
So its another copy of S.C.P?

Not exactly? It does use the core concept, though (Abnormalities basically are SCPs). The world is pretty different though, and there isn't an "SCP Foundation" (is that the name?) per say, since L Corp kinda shuts down as seen in the ending, and the world's a bit of a dystopia.
If the world interests you, I'd check out Library of Ruina. Just be warned that the difficulty spike is rather steep
I'm so glad I didn't play the game fully for this fucking incomplete ending.
I know I know something good came from it but I don't want to spend hundreds of hours in this game that I'm playing solely for the story to be disappointed by the story.
