I really hope we get another game in this universe and a better translation and localization team. I know they did their best, but the engrish puts off some people and they aren't able to enjoy the fascinating worldbuilding and story. The worldbuilding makes me geniuinely curious about the surface - what is the city? Wings? Outskirts? How did the world get to this state? So many questions that I'd like to see expanded upon. As is my experience in science, questions are not for finding answers but rather to find even better questions.
Really? They actually hope to make a sequel that uses the original gameplay style? If so, then I'm all for it. Hopefully they can fix some of the problems the original LC had.
@Alex B Well, yeah, I know LoR exists, but despite being a sequel story-wise, it's totally different from LC in terms of gameplay. We're talking about another game that plays like LC here.
Looks like Project Moon recently updated the game with a much better english translation. Hope I can see videos of the full game with that translation instead soon! I haven't completed the game yet, but just comparing the old translation to the new one on the first day, you can really notice the change

I finished recently Library of Ruina (direct continuation of this game) second time, and when will have time - will record story there too. There more story and it is more about world around.

Soon there will be Card game in this universe, and after that one is released they are planning on making direct sequel.
