Strangely enough my wife pointed out to me that the intro is from the childrens' song "Pearly Shells" sung by kids from Hawaii to the Philippines. As for Kurt's height, Conan is like 6'5" and doesn't seem too much taller than him. Paul Leary was the guitarist for Butthole Surfers.
Three of the most awfully overlooked musicians in the history of music. When I heard Tumblin Tumbleweeds in 82, it took about 5 listens to figure out what it was. A classic country song from the 1930s? My mind was blown despite a horrible recording. When 2 hit I was hooked. I saw them religiously until 2019. At least over 30 times. We partied with them, shared stories and even jammed. They are three righteous guys if ever there were some. Long live the Pups.
I love this song! Lyrics (at the heart of what is this pl ace we find ourselves made of, anyway? It is a strange place)...riffage and melody/energy! Just fantastic!
