Excellent! Since the day in the cave where I watched this being filmed live I've been trying to interface a C64 and ZX Spectrum using the MUM protocol without much success. I wonder if Richard would mind popping round and having a word with my mum?
Well done Jason, first of many and what a great first, Richard is such a nice and cool guy coding plus racing I want to learn more. Repeat visit perhaps ?
great interview, interesting question and really interesting answers- great pairing thanks! looking forward to the next one, and some vids on the GDKs too please )
Great start! Couple of observations: I think the audio channels are swapped. Your interviewee is on the left but speaks on the right. As an interview technique, try to limit your mmms and yeahs - we're here to hear the interviewee. But that's very minor point - I've seen interviews (on other channels) where the interviewer is mixed as loud as the interviewee and finishes their sentences - which is difficult to listen to. Otherwise, super. Research, leading question good. Audio and video great! Best of luck for the channel!
First! - Well done on the excellent and compelling interview, I look forward to seeing many more in the future!
@@RMCRetro Thank you for giving me the opportunity to do this in the first place. I am forever grateful.

Think your mics are plugged in backwards. Cool and thanks by the way!
Is in podcast form somewhere?
@@pw1169 not at the moment but that is something I will look into.
I was love how much was squeezed and hacked into the early software
Now I want to change my last name to T Bogeyman.
Please don't hard pan the audio like that. It's very hard to listen to with headphones.
Yes, sorry about that, others have said the same thing. Lesson learned, in future I will centre pan the dialogue.
