I don't think thats the mix, thats just dubstep when it collides with metal, or "Final Fantasy Core" as the guitarist has called it on twitter.
I think the oversaturation is actually made on purpose, Japanese studios tend to have great sound and I can't imagine they didn't do this if it wasn't fully on purpose. Same as distortion ended up becoming one more resource for guitar sound, I think they just went with oversaturation with this song because htey purposedly wanted the song to not sound clean, they wanted it brutal and even in the HiRes version at 48khz/24bit there is still some oversaturation, not as bad as in youtube though
