I can't wait for the Soundwave remold. To me Soundwave should be as big as Prime and Megatron imo. So seeing this and the fact that all their minions are being released just makes me so excited for this. I haven't been this excited sense the FOC Soundwave. Great review too!
Another great review! If you look at the bottom of Blaster's yellow chest, you can see 4 molded rectangles. Those appear to be meant to homage the original buttons on G1 Blaster. You can make them out just after the 20-minute mark when those buttons are mentioned. Nice touch.
I received this guy this morning and you can store Twincast away in boombox mode, if you look at the bottom of the dataslug you'll see another indent, if you slot Twincast in there facing up he'll slot in and the back of his legs will slot onto the pegs. He slots in snugly and the dataslug can be slotted back into Blaster's chest.
I know, it's really annoying. I was looking for somewhere to be able to store him and I examined the dataslug in case he could be stored there and saw where he could be slotted in. They really should have added that to the instructions

Of the Titans Return figure I've seen so far, this is my favorite for sure. Not a huge fan of the base mode....but the boombox mode is really good and robot mode is fantastic!

I actually agree with you, that while I really like the Powermaster Prime, Blaster is that much cooler. For me, I think it's the fact that all three modes look badass; Prime's base mode is a bit like a sprawled robot. :p I kinda really wanted this one specifically *because* he's Leader class, and I plan to skip the Soundwave in favour of the FoC one I already have; the Leader Blaster and Voyager Soundwave match the G1 figs really well. That said, I may well wind up getting Soundwave too, just because I love him...

The hole in G1 Blasters blaster, looks reminiscent of the G1 Matrix of Leadership. Maybe the Matrix can plug into the Blaster. There might be a correlation there.
True.. it also doesn't note that you can in fact connect the two leader bots together .. though it looks a bit weird with optimus unless you angle his ramps outward.. but I get the feeling he was designed for custom posing of his leg platforms in mind, where blaster is kinda... static.
speaking for myself here the cw leaders and these leaders are gonna go by themselves since i feel, with the exception of magnus, all the leader class figures are too big for who they represent. i have mp10 prime, prowl, sideswipe, and grimlock so the cw leader megatron and the cw seekers along with tr soundwave when i get one are pretty much bolstering my meager mp shelf as a "budget" mp line. they stand just as tall as mp and look pretty good with the ones i have. if i get this blaster he'll be in the same section.
I hope these starts to show in the UK soon and if so which wave will be skipped this time as Skylynx and the limbs to Bruticus hasn't been seen in my area.
Does anyone think the grade of plastic on many TR models seem different from Combine Wars models? I was looking at Silverbolt doing a size comparison with TR Scourge, Blurr and Sentinel Prime and I thought the plastic on Silverbolt felt heavier and the color was more solid and flat. I think many TR models have plastic like that seen in Wheeljack and Sunstreaker. I wonder if it's a result of trying to use a more reflective colored plastic in which case TR models seems to be composed of a lot of it.
There's shared Titan Master molds on the other size classes. Blurr, Brainstorm and Chromedome share a Titan Master mold. I think Highbrow and Scourge might too, as well as Astrotrain and Sentinel Prime. And Alpha Trion's Titan Master looks suspiciously like Safeguard, the partner of Vector Prime who's planned as Alpha Trion's retool. Also, Twin Cast does have a place to go in boombox mode, he can lie down/sit upright in the black "tape" in the chest.

At 27:00 you had fiddling issues with that leg. I had the same issue with the same leg! It eventually pegged in and stayed in for me, but I can see why you cut away. Frustrating!!
I had absolutely no interest in Blaster. Boombox alt mode is stupid & I have no use for it in my collection. Now Blaster with battle station mode? OMG! LOVE IT! WANT IT! MUST BUY! Blaster, Soundwave, Powermaster Prime & Ultra Magnus all have battle station modes that can combine with Fort Max,??? Okay, Combiner Wars was a major disappointment every step of the way but Titans Return looks to be the best TF line to date. So far I have Blurr & Scourge & I LOVE them! I'm going all-in with Titans Return.
No. His body proportions and alt-mode are too different for a retool to be considered. While the new Perceptor might be a rumor and rumors aren't always true, it's a rumor that comes from a VERY trustworthy and beleivable source.
I would love an ORIGNAL mold for perceptor but we know Hasbro. If they can not maximize profit with a sculpt they will not make it. I also see some ways they can modify that mold.
I love that in robot mode it looks very, VERY close to the original figure.

If you go to the Bbts website and click Takara legends, the Takara Blaster (Broadcast) doesn't have a cartoon head.
Where did you get that custom G1 head? Would be curious to try that on the FoC Voyager Blaster.

The cannon on the left arm of my Blaster is also loose. I wonder if it's a common problem with others?

There is no confirmation of a Vector Prime retool.

Marius Rhinox Vector Prime is not one of their predictions though...
It's more of a reference to Beta Maxx, Alpha Trion's Minicon.
Blaster's base mode actually has base-like elements, making him far better than Powermaster Optimus Prime's base mode.

I'll admit, that toy does look very cool. Probably better than TR Optimus, even though I'm huge Optimus fan. The robot mode looks commanding.

Buttons are molded in the yellow chest, but dont have any simbol molded or printed sadly.
