Tundra exploits a lot: First was 33 using a change in code to be able to move the spiders around by tab (It was added as a option now not sure why), LC double damage bug with his passive (BOOM lost to that in a Bo3), then this renaming the sentry ward and using a color blue one.
Boom won that bo3 (and that game specifically).

because it would reveal that you have a ward there..... which gives the enemy the info that where you have that wards at
edit: for example, enemy have put sentry on those hill ward spots and u put observer and sentry.. u dont wanna destroy that preexisting sentry from the enemy because you know.. reveals that you have wards there
no, they dont destroy it because then they will have to pay them back gold cause that is their belongings
The obvious play is the destroy it. But when you destroy the sentry which also does not give gold, the other team will know that there is sentry vision in that area. The sentry does no good if there is no vision by hero/obs in the area and if they leave it, Tundra would assume they do not have vision, when they actually do.

There's no sentry mark and you can clearly see it in the minimap. The only reason they didn't destroy it is because they couldn't see it.

Actually it is pretty obvious that it is an observer ward because it doesn't have the sentry ward signia. I don't think it will confuse anybody, but people will destroy it regardless because there is just no reason to not destroy it.
It will confuse non support players, some player tend not to hit a sentry to not reveal their location.
There are actually good reasons you don't want to destroy enemy sentries; one is that you want to bait them in to thinking you have no sentry-or obs if it's on a cliff-of your own planted.
Tell us you're low rank without telling us, but that's fine because divines and immortals also do this dumb mistake of hitting sentry when there is absolutely no fcking reason for you to touch that ward.

it can ruin games for sure especially if u are unaware of the cosmetics. sometimes ppl intentionally leaves sentry ward especially cliff ward to give false sense of security
i think the main problem is the intention of the player, sure its not cheating, but the feature is so unecessary

There's a big blue eye over a sentry ward that indicates "True Sight" on it so you should ALWAYS be able to tell if a ward is an obs or a sentry.
