Visual Voicemail Broken or Disappeared? - How To Fix It

- If you've upgraded you're iOS version and have noticed visual voicemail service is no longer working, here are 3 methods that might fix it for you.
This isn't revolutionary advice but the advice online is a little fragmented around this problem so I thought I'd do a video to show you what worked for me on the UK EE network.

Airplane off on didn't work. Resetting in the network did the trick. So glad someone can figure these smart phones out...much smarter than me - ie: both the phone and those who know the "tricks of fixing". Thank you friend.

Thankyou so much. I’m on EE in the uk and didn’t have any visual voicemail on my phone. I just tried the last method you mentioned (texting iPhone visual to 150) it worked immediately and I have now managed to save a very precious voicemail from my father that was due to be deleted in a few hours time.

Thanks so much for sharing this helpful video! 🙏🏼😊 My visual voicemail wasn't working for weeks and I was about to remove the add-on feature through my carrier (Rogers in Canada). I tried restarting my phone a few times, I tried resetting network settings, I tried calling my Carrier and they restarted visual voicemail on their end, I tried toggling on/off phone notifications....nothing worked UNTIL I tried your suggestion of turning on Airplane mode and then turning it back off. Yay! Thank you again!

After waiting 2 hours with EE Tech support and then another 2 hours with EE Tech Support Gurus dept, I googled a solution myself and found this and it fixed it instantly and this solution is 5 years old lol, I've suggested tech support uses this solution also. Thank you @TDCatTech

I (and my Petsitting business) have been suffering for weeks with my Visual Voicemail not working! Nothing worked, and I could never get the correct Customer Service number to talk with a rep. I watched your video and did the reset and voila! Thank you so much. I am incyberate.
Called my carrier and they had it provisioned wrong. She was able to fix it fast. Thanks
even thou your phone might be an apple and not an android your second tip helped. thanks. if someone is reading this. try his tip. don't panic if you have an android or your screen doesn't look like his. you can do it. you know the basic. you know where you setting are. you know how to turn on your mobile. just listen to the basic words and think before you panic. I say this for older phone users. we can do this. I'm an older phone user and I have a lots of questions. This guy helped with my question and I didn't have to call Tracfone. Thank God. Good Luck.

Thank you, only video that was helpful. I am in the USA and I did want you did and contacted cell phone carrier support services by text message and they were able to get it to work. I guess what happens is when you switch from Android phone to iPhone sometimes this does not work unless like you mentioned you request for them to set it up for you.

Ahh the good old cryptic iPhone conundrum that is ‘how to trick your phone into doing what you paid for it to do’ 🙄. Without this video I’d never have solved the issue. 👍🏻
Hi the flight mode worked thanks👍and I found hand off was on so turned that off as well thanks👍🙌
Airplane mode for 30 seconds then use Data! Wow! It works for me i have the latest ios

How do you get visual voicemail? Trying to make a new voicemail :(
Nothing works
1. Go to Settings.
2. Click on General.
3. Go all the way to the bottom and hit reset.
4. Click on Reset Network Settings.
That should fix it 😜

how did you text to at&t with "iphone visual"?
It didn't work for me, but after searching more i found other people saying you can just turn on cellular data (and it worked for me)

Nothing works for me, i tried all the options. I just don’t know how to contact my carrier. I’m from the Philippines, can someone help ke please, I really want to use the voicemail. It’s been four years now.
So far in Philippines, all carriers doesnt provide features for voicemails, so even if your phone does have voicemail option, it wouldnt work.
Badly it won’t work in the Philippines 😬
I've been in contact with my carrier (had them reset it on their end) and tried airplane mode, reset my network settings, etc. Nothing worked. I just got a new iphone after having an android for years haha this is very upsetting

When I go to voicemail it has a small box saying call voicemail and that’s it and when I call it it says “enter your phone number or press the hash key if your using ur own phone”and when I do both it says “invalid box number press *3 and try again. How do I fix this????😫
Just go to your settings, then go to general, and scroll all the to the bottom and hit reset. Click on reset network settings and that should fix and and you should be able to see your list of voicemails again! 😁
For me when i'm clicking on call voicemail it's showing call failed... can anyone help me to fix this. pleasee

go to settings GENERAL.... except there is no category in settings called GENERAL on my LG phone

At no point do you show iPhone visual - even after you allege to fix it, you don’t show that it’s functioning. Dreadful video.

That could work but VVM is iPhone only in the UK on my network and I think all others too. Shame as it's certainly not an iPhone exclusive feature (let's be honest, what is these days?)
