Yes, have used the 'Find My Drone' feature within the DJI GO 4 app myself. Works like a champ. Glad it wasn't lost in the water..close call. I strongly recommend, enabling 'Airplane Mode' when flying your Spark. This prevents any interruptions while flying and wont disrupt the LCD on the phone. Glad it all worked out....
Does enabling 'Airplane Mode' eliminate ALL communications with the phone? curious.
Yes, it basically 'disables' your cellular (voice/data) connection. You can still use features on your phone (calculator, look at pics, scroll through all you functions). It just prevents calls (voice & data) from coming in.

Hey, i am your fan and i also watch your videos. I've buied Spark, but i have a problem. I've never crashed that too hard.My gimbal just doesnt work. It dont react to remote controller and app in mobile. Its not stabilaziting video and just do nothing. App isnt showing me any problems. First two flyes it worked, but then suddently it stopped. I tried many ways how to fix but nothing works. Did you have same problem? Or you have some tips how to fix it ? Thank you for answering and GL with your YT chanel!

I have been watching your channel for a lil while and it helped push me into getting a Dji Spark for myself. ive seen in previous vids of yours that you suggest the Polarpro filters. But how often do you use them, and which 2 of them do you use the most?
Good deal you got it back mate! I wasn't so lucky with my Spark flyaway. Find My Drone is awesome *if* you have a connection. In my case, the Spark malfunctioned, took off out of range and that was it. Enjoy your work, keep it up! 😀

I just want to enjoy this experience for now. Oh, a question just popped into my head, if you get a phone call, you lose connection to the drone? It hasn't happened to me but good to know if this is the case.

Hi Francis! Nice video & glad that you found your Spark! And having recorded & explained the searching process even you were very nervous. XD I am amazed by your wedding shots & those B rolls taken in the car when it nearly snowed, such as those "out- focus" lights shown from the mirror & front windows. May I know how & what camera setting you used to take those shots? Thank you so much! =)
And by the way I have tried to mimic those shots in the car a few weeks ago with my OSMO plus but the auto- focus & low light has given me a lot of difficulties & terrible shots... XD

So should I always put my phone in Aeroplane mode before flying? Also your thoughts on the OTG Cable with the Spark I tried using mine and it said weak transmission signal so I bailed out and went back to WiFi?

Francis, so glad you found your Spark! I'm sure you've been asked this question, but do you plan on getting a Mavic one of these days? I too started on the Spark, and about two months later, got a Mavic Pro Platinum. I found that I love both and take both when I fly. Also, I suggest turning on Airplane Mode on your phone!

How many batteries do you have? Is there a limit to how many you can use consecutively before the Spark overheats? Also, do you have the portable charging station?
I try to use airplane mode and enable WiFi. I used to use the OTC cable but I think they have disabled that functionality as it hasn’t worked for me in a while with iPhone or android so now I’m back on WiFi again. Nice job! Glad you recovered your drone!
Have you tried flying your spark using a VR headset? It would be great to see a video on flying it with alternatives to dji goggles such as Google cardboard or Samsung vr
Heres a question. How do you minimise your glare and green spot with the sunsets and forward facing shots or do you just edit them out? Saw you had some filters sent out but prior to them you didn't have anything on your lens so did that cause issues? Love this channel!

You should check into buying the dji crystalsky tablet to use with the drone my friend. Screen is much much much better than a phone even the conection and also the battrey of the monitor is amazing not like a phone. Btw im happy you found the drone

You had me worried there for a bit. Glad it was a lost&found, not just a lost... So, a question. Do you ever use the DJI app for editing, or do you always go straight to downloading the footage? I like some of the effects on the QuickShots, but I find the app quite horrific.

What we go through to recover our drones!! haha Luckily I have't have to go this far. I do remember my Bebop crashing in someone's backyard. Was ringing their door bell for like 30 minutes, until they finally answered the door!! I have now upgraded to the P4P and Spark. I'm loving the Spark though!!
