I pray we will get to enjoy this wonderful song by Elvis . What a treasure that will be and to let you know just how much of a treasure it is ,my heart rate is about to explode and my temples are throbbing , my heart does its flip just like every time i listen to one of Elvis's songs. No imitator can cause that to happen to me. It is something I felt at the tender age of five years old and it happens only when Elvis sings! That is my Elvis !!!
As soon as I heard this I could tell it was Elvis. There are many imitators, but there is one thing they could never and will never be able to imitate. When Elvis sang he had in his voice what I can only describe as loneliness. He was a very humble man and despite having many things in this world you could always sense his loneliness. His heart and spirit always seemed to be troubled. He will always be the best voice in this whole universe. We were blessed to have had him a true gift from God.
This may simply be for the fact his twin didn't survive, in the womb together 9 months and a large part of him was now missing. I don't have a twin but the closeness of my double cousin and I was so significant that when she past at her age of 57, my lastv8 yrs have been my loneliest. Someone is missing, brings a huge loneliness even though we are not alone.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Please, get your ears tested. I have every studio recording that Elvis made, along with god knows how many concert recordings, and have listened to them countless times over the last 50 years. This isn't Elvis! Show me one official release by his record company that features this unreleased track. You can't because there isn't one, and that's because it isn't Elvis. Whatever vocal/sound expert they used to prove this is Elvis should be fired for the fraud that he is. If this was Elvis then I, as an Elvis fan, would be glad to have another recording to add to my collection, so I have no other reason to highlight the fact that it isn't other than I know it's not Elvis, and any Elvis fan worth their salt would know it too.

Who said anything about singing into a cassette recorder. Simply copied it from the original, it's no more than a demo. Just isn't Elvis. Too much reverb for a start, especially for 1976.
@@carolynstuart5901 Hi there. It's definately not Elvis, but one thing, I bet you're not as familiar with your own voice as you think. That is unless you've ever recorded it and played it back. It can really make you sit up, 'Is that really me, do I sound like that? Not until you've heard your recorded voice can you honestly know what your voice actuyally sounds like. But as you said, you can tell Elvis' voice in an instant. Both speaking and singing. I doubt if the opening comment is that of the real Joe Espisito, otherwise he would have made a further comment, staing that it wasn't Elvis. But then again, he doesn't actually state that it is Elvis. But, listening to it again, I'm gob smacked that the person who did the vocal comparison, declares it a match. Also, if you don't listen to the track, but to the noise; that isn't a cassette recording, it doesn't have the right background noise for a cassette, there is no hiss to begin with. What noise there is sounds like it's a vinyl recording, not a cassette. How do I know this? I undertake a lot of audio restoration, both cassette and vinyl among other formats and there is a distinct difference. You get tape hiss on a cassette and not crackle. Crackle is distinct to vinyl, unless a vinyl recording has been copied to cassette and then you'd get both. And yes, you can limit the hiss on cassette by using a better quality cassette and ensuring a good volume level which will hide the hiss more, but it's still there. At the end of the day on that side, I'm no expert, but on the sound of that voice, that's not Elvis. And to me there are numerous giveaways besides the voice. If it was a studio recording, recorded by Elvis in the seventies, it wouldn't be awash with reverb. Along with which, all Elvis' seventies recording sessions are highly documented. Not only that, they have recently been re-released, along with 'ALL' the unreleased material related to that session. And again, if this was another private recording as Elvis has done in the past, there would be no reverb on the vocal and the whole recording would have only the ambience of the room. Could it be a recording that Elvis decided to do after a performance, just as unlikely and for the same reasons and the quality of the recording would be much higher. No, all the distractions to me are basically there to make it more difficult to distinguish the vocal. And of cause, we don't get to hear the complete recording, we conveniently hear only the odd clip. It's 100% a hoax in my honest opinion!
I have always been a great fan of the king and I knew first time that this was Elvis. There was only one Elvis and there always will be. Elvis is unique. Btw I'm 65 years old
I do believe this is Elvis. One thing we all need to remember, is the technology then in the 70's is not like it is today. The tape was stored for along period of time, but nevertheless, I do remember reading somewhere in a book that Elvis had a musician or someone close to him who had wrote a song for him to record. Elvis read it, and agreed to record it. I believe this is it and the name mentioned sounds familiar. But we all have the right to believe as we wish.
If it were Elvis Presley singing it I would be very happy. He has a wonderful, talented voice . He could sing me any, I would love it . He had such a charisma more than 2 people who I knew that were idiots . I love the way he sung, acted in movies, his moving to the beat, the man himself .

Nothing like Elvis' music. There will never be another entertainer like him. Sorry his private life was so messed up. But then again, a lot of entertainers are. Sad that prescription drugs and other health issues took him way too soon. I have been a Elvis fan a long long time and it sounds like him to me. Hopefully it can be produced and released. Would that not be awesome ?
Alot of the guys in his stage band didn't record the songs in the studio. And this is most likely a rough demo so who knows who the players could have been. I'm sure it probably wasn't released because of the way Col Parker tried to rob the song writers of their publishing. He got away with in the early days but by the mid 60s when alot of stars were writing their own songs the songwriters would no longer give up much publishing on their songs because they learned how much money that could be made from royalties and stuff.
This is Elvis, listen closer... I been listening him too since I was a little girl. Im now 59 and its him. It might sound strange but because of the casette.
This is Elvis's voice when he was very young you can tell listen to his younger voice when he sings his older songs when he was a young man sounds just like him
To all the naysayers, how can you not hear that this is Elvis. Do some research. This is indeed Elvis Presley. First off it sounds just like him. 2nd, RCA has confirmed the song was recorded in RCA studios in Nashville in 1965. The song never got released because it was originally written for the Harum Scarum soundtrack, but dropped because it didn't fit with the rest of the songs. It wasn't until 1976 that Crane and Lee discussed releasing the song. But had trouble obtaining the copyright due to the song being lost because it was dropped from the movie. He eventually did get it back however. But the song still didn't get a release because Lee's studio was broken into and a lot of his equipment was stolen. This tape remained in Lee's basement for years. It was eventually auctioned off by Christy's and is widely regarded as the real thing.
+bandit7498 Wrong. SO wrong. RCA confirmed nothing of the sort, so fuck knows where you got THAT info from. You're obviously not a fan if you think that's Elvis singing. This was determined to be a hoax MONTHS ago!
+srj1967 try doing some research. If you don't agree that's fine. But don't get on here insulting people. That's what children do. FYI, RCA did a press release about it.
Dude, I've been a fan for 50 years. I've consulted on books, magazines and record releases. I've liaised with RCA (Now Sony/BMG) and that song is NOT Elvis. RCA did not do a press release about it, that's BULLSHIT. The Sony contact got in touch with reporter Brian Quinn, and issued a statement in 2012 CONFIRMING the song was bullshit, hence it wasn't added to the Elvis library and will never be released as it's NOT ELVIS! NOT ELVIS! The so-called forensic expert was invited to speak with Sony directly. It's been FIVE YEARS and he's refused to front up. Once again, in case you missed it, this is NOT Elvis singing (it is likely Orion aka Jimmy Ellis, who was a soundalike). If you think it's Elvis singing, you're a different kind of stupid. ANY Elvis fan upon hearing it realised it wasn't him. It's a fake, a fraud and a hoax and that is a FACT. The Elvis Files book, all 1300 pages of them detailing every singe thing Elvis recorded also determined it wasn't Elvis. BECAUSE. IT. ISN'T. End of story.
+srj1967 I personally don't give a shit what you believe. You obviously have your doubts because you keep arguing the point. Believe what you want, I couldn't care less.
Most people were not into impersnations of Elvis at this time as he pretty much was shocking the world with his voice. What little bet of the song a could hear sounded like Elvis to me.Am only 53 but my parents were big Elvis fans,I grew up watching my mother clean house, dancing to Elvis. And dad singing and recording real to real, songs of Elvis as I was in bed sleeping.I'd like to hear the song all the way threw to be sure.As John Lennon said (before Elvis there was nothing).he was one of a kind, and it stands to reason people try to sound like him, back then not so much, but they did comb there hair, and grow side burns like him.It was almost like Elvis was teaching the world how to sing, that is sing at a level that one could understand what was being said,in a wonderful pitch that was always pleasing to hear.
Even in death Elvis has still got us on the edge of our seat is it him or not .I say deffenetley it is him but not Elvis voice from 1976 .this is his voice alot earlier than that .the king of rock and roll will keep us asking questions till the end of time .rip the greatest pop entertainer ever .or how are you today Elvis how's the weather .that's the type of man he was or still is . keep everyone wandering
I agree with asking the surviving TCB Band members, "Did you play behind Elvis on this?" The news story clip does not hardly play any of the song to know one way or the other. A couple of years have passed now - WHAT HAS BECOME OF THIS????
I think The only really way to tell is the back up singers. After all They had to know ever aspect of his Voice. From when he would take his breaths in songs like this.To the way he would say different words. To just about anything,he said or did .Because they had,to be on his timing. To follow him in any given song.I know there isnt very many of them left. But there are still some.Like Kathy Westmoreland..
The guy recorded so much stuff at his house or on the road anything is possible. I still think there are tons of gems from the 50s they never released but knew he did record. It is easy in my opinion to imitate older Elvis but early Elvis takes skill. This could be him but I think it is an impersonator. Still, with Elvis as always anything is possible.
5:54 That's the part that makes me think it's NOT him. And if it is Elvis it is not from '76. His voice had matured alot by then, and he had more vibrato in his lower register
Maybe you should read " Destined to die young". Elvis had MAJOR health problems from birth. There is WAY more to that story. His mom, Grandma Doll & 6 of his 8 uncles all died in their 40's. He took perscriptions to deal with his Genetic health problems, his enlarged paralyzed colon, Glaucoma, Antitrypsin Deficiency, a condition which can result in lung and/or liver disease both of which he had severely at the time of his death. Elvis was never a smoker or drinker. He had Together with the immune system disorder, hypogammaglobulinemia, which plagued Elvis all his life and caused him to constantly fight various infections. His “inherited” weak heart, reactive arthritis, and the impact of his nocturnal lifestyle, resulting in a lack of vitamin D, the effects of which contributed to respiratory infections, reduced immune function, and inflammation. Of the 11 bodily systems that operate to keep us alive and hopefully healthy. Critically, Elvis suffered disease or disorder in nine of them! And five were present from birth and pre his fame. His heart (circulatory system), his lungs (respiratory system), and his bowels (digestive/excretory systems) required medication. Insomnia affected his nervous system……His immune system was compromised. His urinary system was not functioning properly. At one point there was even talk of dialysis. Often he is dismissed as just another rock ‘n’ roll drug addict. He wasn't taking street drugs. He was taking perscriptions not to "ESCAPE" h was taking them to try to maintain some sense of normalcy as himself in a time where the medical field was limited. No DNA, Genetics, No MRI's, little known about the addiction, his dystrophy & No understanding of Vitamin D even. Looking at the illnesses and disorders, that mounted upon each other over the decades, it’s no coincidence that Elvis’ prescription drug use increased as his health declined. From ear infections to chronic tonsilitis to recurrent flus to eye infections and glaucoma…..these arguably insignificant ailments independently, grew into something more. As his body broke down, alongside multiple immune system disorders and genetic complications, prescription medication and his handy PDR tried to fill the gaps. When that no longer worked, hospital stays became the norm and his list of ailments grew. The sicker he got, the more prescriptions he was prescribed. He was seeing a cardiologist before he bought Graceland. He was 20yrs old. They have gone through Elvis's entire life of medical records & now have an entire different story now. This is all the facts Geraldo & 20/20 never stated.
@@kelliintexas3575 I knew a lot of this but there is so much more of which I was not aware... Thank you for sharing. I'll be reading that book. 🕺👑❤️🔥 Edit: Its heartbreaking that Elvis had such guilt about being the surviving twin. That poor baby probably had the worst of the ailments all together and never had a fighting chance 😓
Not him. In those days record companies would send demo songs to Elvis manager with someone singing in the same voice and style as Elvis to decide if Elvis wanted the song or not.. If you look into his early songs, this was done with all his hits; an Elvis soundalike always created the demo first.
The guy doing the analysis is suppose to be an expert. So whether you agree with his opinion or not it doesn't matter because you AREN'T the expert unless you have the experience or credentials. And ultimatley, it will be his opinion that will carry "weight" in the matter.
So tell us, smart ass, why hasn't this new song been released by Elvis' record company as a new song? For one simple reason. IT ISN'T ELVIS! Who gives a shit about what an expert examining sound waves says? I've listened to Elvis over a 40-year period, and know every cadence and nuance of his voice, and this singer is not Elvis. For god's sake, are you dimwits who insist that this song is by Elvis that tone deaf? Well you'd have to be if you think this is Elvis. It's not released as an Elvis song because - **drum-roll** - it isn't Elvis. As an Elvis fan of many year's standing, why would I deny a new song by him if it were him? Because I know full well that it isn't.
He didn't write many songs himself, but this has his fingerprints on it, in comparison to the others that we know he wrote. I reckon it was a tribute to the love of his life - Priscilla. He wouldn't have wanted to release it because she was long gone.

LOVE YOU ELVIS YOU WILL BE WITH U S ALL FOREVER YOU WILL NEVER DIE
This will be one song RCA can't touch.

It's fantastic so incredibile. This was a gift for Elvis fans.
This is Elvis Presley!!!!
If it were Elvis Presley singing it I would be very happy. He has a wonderful, talented voice . He could sing me any, I would love it . He had such a charisma more than 2 people who I knew that were idiots . I love the way he sung, acted in movies, his moving to the beat, the man himself .

THANK YOU FOR FINDING THIS TAPE I WONT ONE PLEASE.......A FAN.
Elvis is alive ❤️⚡🎶
Nothing like Elvis' music. There will never be another entertainer like him. Sorry his private life was so messed up. But then again, a lot of entertainers are. Sad that prescription drugs and other health issues took him way too soon. I have been a Elvis fan a long long time and it sounds like him to me. Hopefully it can be produced and released. Would that not be awesome ?
I am still hoping they finally find his recording of Satisfied. There are oodles of tunes he sang and recorded that were lost, hidden or misplaced.
Sounds like Elvis to me, but I've only been listening to him for 57 years.
Quinn Warwick me 50 years. Since I was 7.
Quinn Warwick I think it's Elvis
I concur with you Quinn as you said I have only been listening to him for 60 yrs.!
@@sassylady54 yep me too since 1960
But not like a 76 voice
cut from a movie maybe sounds like a movie song 1976
to late more like1967
or earlier
the voice matured last yrs of singing
Why not just ask his regular band members from 1976?
Where is Elvis?
@@maryloucostales6529 dead
Alot of the guys in his stage band didn't record the songs in the studio. And this is most likely a rough demo so who knows who the players could have been. I'm sure it probably wasn't released because of the way Col Parker tried to rob the song writers of their publishing. He got away with in the early days but by the mid 60s when alot of stars were writing their own songs the songwriters would no longer give up much publishing on their songs because they learned how much money that could be made from royalties and stuff.
No one sounds Like Elvis Presley !!!....NO---ONE
This is Elvis, listen closer... I been listening him too since I was a little girl. Im now 59 and its him. It might sound strange but because of the casette.
If this is Elvis voice it may be a clue that Elvis was trying to tell us something
The hell it's not Elvis!!! The expert is known all over for his expertise. Violet, you should be so proud honey!!
Those who really knew his voice and loved THAT VOICE and the man, know this is ELVIS ! For real...
god love elvis every still wants a piece of him
This is Elvis's voice when he was very young you can tell listen to his younger voice when he sings his older songs when he was a young man sounds just like him
To all the naysayers, how can you not hear that this is Elvis.
Feel free to put a link to this RCA press release. I won't hold my breath!
NOT ELVIS!!!!
+srj1967 I personally don't give a shit what you believe. You obviously have your doubts because you keep arguing the point. Believe what you want, I couldn't care less.
Where is this song at? If this has been officially deemed an Elvis song, why is the Elvis Presley Estate doing something yet??
Sounds like early elvis
Since not one of the surviving members of Elvis's band were asked about this it means they most likely must have thought it was a fake.
The king 🤴
I loved the recording of the letter
I loved him for the person he was, always will be . If his dr hadn't overdrugged Elvis I believe that he would've been alive still .
Edit: Its heartbreaking that Elvis had such guilt about being the surviving twin.
Look into Pastor Bob Joyce.
Erich Hoefert an expert like this guy shouldn't be allowed to analyze anything he showed how incompetent he is and so did you
I personally wouldn't know, but people can be called "experts" for the wrong reasons, and science isn't infallible.
It's not always for the best that the opinions of the "experts" carry the weight!
agree 100% this voice is not Elvis'. This is not Elvis.
Oh it's Elvis...
Hallelujah!
it was Elvis, if you know Elvis, you know his voice and the wanna be's
Not. Even. Close. Elvis did not sound like this in 1976, and he was only recoding at Graceland. No way, that ain't him.
He didn't write many songs himself, but this has his fingerprints on it, in comparison to the others that we know he wrote. I reckon it was a tribute to the love of his life - Priscilla. He wouldn't have wanted to release it because she was long gone.
this is the king
Its elvis its him to many people with there hands in his pocket again people money crazy
THIS RECORDING SURE SOUNDS LIKE E.P.
Elvis is alive and well and he's been sighted all over Memphis hundreds of times. He is Pastor Bob Joyce AKA Elvis Aron Presley.
I WELL ALWAYS LOVE YOU ELVIS ❤ KATHY EBERHARDT
Elvis put more feeling in to his Music, then this Man!
Or boy
THIS IS ELVIS YES!!!!!!!!!!! 100%
There is only 1 man that can sound like that no one can match him not his brothers or his twin they all have unique vocals.
theres outtakes from rehearsels on bootleg cd's where he recites something like this wish i could remeber which one it was on
