Sleeping Lotus sounds like it's part of a soundtrack for a Hollywood Oscar film. It gives me vibes of a person who will impact or change the world and we see them start in humble beginnings in their room or alone working hard and contemplating life. This needs to be in a movie soundtrack ASAP!

I used to listen to this melody while I was preparing my first lessons as a first-time teacher. Beving's music reminds me of my first impressions when working with teenagers and children

Love these pieces he does. I’m 30 and I played piano as a kid and teen and always retained some/specific songs but didn’t fully stick with it as I got older. Songs like this by Beving, as well as some other sort of minimalist pianists like Max Richter and Ludovico Einaudi are the absolute perfect pieces for me to learn now in terms of skill level that sound really good but aren’t too challenging with some practice. Don’t want to be playing Twinkle Twinkle Little star but also know I’m not going to be playing Scherzo no. 2 any time soon so yeah, I really enjoy Beving. It’s an art in itself to make simple pieces that sound so good. Sometimes less is more

This is by far, my favorite song of Joel Beving’s, aside from Saturday Morning and Autumn.
i fell in love with this little piece of music the moment i heard it for the very first time and i knew i had to learn how to play this ... i love this piece, it is my all time favorite and it will never be surpassed by anything else ... i don't know what it is but there is simply something magical in it ... truth be told no one can play it as soft as you tho ... still i play this for myself nearly every day since i learned it, which was quite a feat for me, you know ... anyway ... thank you so much for bringing this marvel into this world ...

I was expecting a solo performance with guests, but it turned out to be the very first live performance of the new album ‘Henosis’. A fascinating musical journey with vocals, strings, accordeon, some light percussion and electronics on board. In between Beving played a few pieces from the previous albums - solo. Very receptive crowd, great evening
