the ending hits home to me. when my mom had a stroke and was laying in bed lifeless, it didn’t matter that my parents had a rough marriage. my dad kept saying “baby please” throughout the whole 4 months my mom was in the hospital. it was very upsetting for us, we all cried every night. almost 2 years later, my mom is still here with us, & she survived brain surgery❤️.

In the real story when the husband told the wife that he wanted divorce, she wanted to tell him that she had cancer. But she was so devasted by the divorce news that she couldn't tell him. She cried the whole night. Then the next morning the wife asked him to put up the act and carry her to the breakfast table every morning for a month not seven days. And as an excuse she said that she doesn't want her daughter to stress out before exams. It was an excuse. And then gradually the husband realised that the his wife lost her beauty and youth in the process of taking care of their family. He realised how much the wife has done for him and his family so leaving her for someone younger was ungrateful. He falls in love with her again and then when he goes to tell his wife that he didn't want divorce and wanted to live the whole life with her , he finds her dead. Actually the wife thought that she was going to die anyway and her daughter would be left only with her father. So she didn't want to ruin the image of her husband in front of her daughter. She wanted her daughter to think that her father was amazing and took care of her mother until her last day.
