Everyone needs to see Torche live at least once in their life. They sound absolutely MASSIVE in person. Can’t top it
And look at this... Massive Sound like rollercompressor ! A gigant Bulldozer roll into you ❤️ but... WHATTTT ??? Just 6 strings guitar and 4 string bass ? No 7, 8 strings like djent poser guitarist and Torche sound much louder and better than Djent and deathcore band wo want to havé the louder sound...
What's that you said about Sleep? Haha
Floor tops it. Steve’s better band.
Seeing them next week for the first time...long time coming. Cant fucking wait
Agreed! Just saw them in Oakland and 🤯🤯🤯🤯
Whoever mixes the sound for these K! Pit performances deserves a medal and a pay raise.
in the case of this and Fit For An Autopsy's sets, it's the band's guitarist (Jon Nunez and Will Putney).
I'm on the other side of 50 but this band has me jumping like a teenager. These guys reverse the aging process. Literally. . . defying time. Essential!
If you like this, you'd love Floor .

Your drummer will either make or break your band. This is phenomenal.
Such insight! Bwahahaha 😂😂😂
Seeing them with Meshuggah and Converge in February is going to be an absolute spiritual revelation
Same here! So excited! I’m going see them in Pittsburgh!
@@tylerjoseph5968 Nice! Worcester for me
@@JoshuaPlaysMusic I can’t speak for him, but I know the concert I’m set to go watch is in February of 2022. I’d assume that his is also February of 2022 since that’s when they’re touring.
@Tyler Joseph your assumption is correct thanks for clarifying for me lol 😆
Indeed
I've only seen Torche live once and when I did I was blown away by how heavy their live sound is. It's a truly unique wall of sound. Great band.
I have had the great pleasure seeing TORCHE live in small clubs many times, standing literally 2 feet from the band. If you like that sort of thing - and if you're here, you probably do - do yourself a favor and see them. It's a no nonsense experience that will change you forever. Whoever mixes their live shows should get a medal.
Props to the sound engineers! This sounds fucking amazing!
For real
The guitarist mixed it :)
@@bendavies9157 if he did he definitely knows what he's doing
@@henrygriffen40 he sure does, produces all their albums now. Learned from the best (Kurt Ballou)
So the inaduible vocals are intentional?

Undone goes hard!
There’s a special place in heaven for people like yourself who take time to do this! (if it exists)
I hereby apologize that I'd never listened to this band before today! (The Premier Guitar rig rundown made me investigate.)
Samesies
So heavy yet so chill
I’m the only guy in there with a red shirt, bald, beard..... such a sick expirience.... phenomenonal

I have being seeing this band live since (almost) the beginning: 13 times to date. So glad to see this band's profile being raised! totally nice dudes. we are very proud of Florida's greatest sonic export!
Better than Death?
They are awesome. If you like punk, Hot Water Music is another great band out of Florida.
19:29 this is earth crushing.!!
Sooooooo good
Heavier than GODZILLA! ah, the good old days, reminds me of "Tarpit Carnivore"
@@chusmaestro I've had a hard time trying to clean my place today while listening to that album hahaha
@@AzathothsAlarmClock They call it the bomb string tuning, I think.
Fuck yeah!!
Torche definitively put on the best and heaviest live show that I’ve ever had the pleasure of witnessing.
Gentlemen, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for the memory of this…
I discovered this band 3 weeks ago . They sound incredible! Too bad they're not together anymore
Try floor-oblation his first band that did a comeback a few years ago.
That bass tone is rugged
Just saw these guys for the first time three days ago at Gainesville Fest. Awesome set, CRUSHING sound. If Helmet, Clutch, and ISIS had a baby, it would be Torche.
I agree with helmet and ISIS, but Clutch? where do they fit in hahahaha?
damn i wish they played the fest while i lived in gainesville
Jesus Christ. the sound mixing is awesome. “On the Wire”, SICK, SICK, SIIIIIIIIICKKKKK!!!! 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟
These guys sound great. Saw that the guitarist has his own company and makes their amps and dirt pedals. That's awesome.
Yes, watch his Premiere Guitar Rig Rundown and you understand why they sound good. He knows his shit.
Torche, basically a well developed progressive Floor on steroids that picked up where Floor left off. Torche, whether the fellas will admit it or not, are solely responsible and best known for creating a subgenre in metal: doompop
You probably haven't noticed that Mr. Nuñez, usually the bass player for at least every previous show Torche has ever played, has swapped instruments with Batman. Maybe, one day at some future show, Rick, the drummer, will walk out onstage as Torche's set begins, and fire up an amp and pick up a guitar- while Mr. Nuñez takes the throne. Now that might make my head half explode. Because, it could happen. These dudes are talented and Nuñez gets bored sometimes.. but apparently not bored enough to grow the sweetest Rollie Fingers moustache and stand out with the rest of the facial hair brigade. He's a rebel.. a sweaty, bald, hairless rebel.. chances are that if you stand close enough to his space onstage while Torche are in full blaze and it will feel like maybe a fire sprinkler has started to turn on. But you won't care because the music will already be pummeling you as your face melts into sludge never as thick as it is in your earholes.
Long live Torche! Steve, you and your moustache must never stop making music.. and remember: keep the doom-pop drizzled in sludge-butter, and keep on make every note "the brown note"- cheers
His voice reminds me of Helmet so much. But I like Torche more!
Dude, this sound mixing and the guitar tones are awesome!! And Torche ROCKS heavilly!
HELMET for 21st century. i wish Helmets 2 last albums sounded like this. heavy!
Check Eric's (Bass) band WRONG... you won't be disappointed!
So true…
@Sarka Hradilova You really need to check out the band Wrong as @wolfey41 mentioned.
Steve is really vibing with the crowd, love to see it
Torche is great. See them live. Crap your Pampers.
Seen them twice, once with Red Fang, and another recently with Baroness. So damn heavy.
Holy Fuck! Didn't have a clue who these guys were before I clicked on the video. Now, I'm a fan!
Listen to their old band “Floor” they are also ridiculously heavy.
The amount of good vibes and fun within the crowd that goes to see this band is unparalleled. I’ve gone to a lot of shows in my life but Torche is still the most fun show I’ve ever been to ever
I think I e watched this 2 or 3 dozen times by now. Such a good show
Well GoDANG I have a new favorite band now...THESE GUYS ARE GREAT...This is what I've been looking for...They gota a great classic sound with new flavor and energy... DIGGIN THEM BIG TIME
gwanko gbaset hope you’ve checked out their discography. Very little filler, LOTSA bangers
I just can’t stop watching this. Torche is the best. Period.
Just saw these guys live last week and they blew my mind. One of the best live acts I've ever seen. I hope to get to see them again many more times. They are EXCELLENT. Can't stop listening to their albums...
I saw them on this tour! It was a few weeks earlier at Great Scott(RIP) in Allston and they were so damn loud. Just saw them at the Palladium opening for Converge and Meshuggah.
Still to this day, some of the most fun I’ve ever had in my life was at a Torche show. Pay attention
best live rock show on the internet! 10/10 untoppable!
When Helmet met Kyus met Horn of The Rhino. Yes please.
@7 Angels 7 Plagues same
I was at this show, right against the "stage." Was probably my first time seeing them in ten years - good to see them still kicking.
KICKINGGG
NANANANANA NANANANANANANA
MASSIVE mix
I saw Torche the first time when they opened for Coheed and Cambria in Central Park NYC 2010. Been hooked since! 🤘
What a great sound they have.
Very grateful to Clutch for bringing Torche along to Tulsa in 2016...great show all around!
Seeing them with In Flames and Meshuggah in October in Atlanta. 🤘🤘🤘
They're awesome live!!! Just saw them last night wow
Ive seen them before when Nunez was on bass but this line up is perfect! The tone is amazing, sucks they quit but hopefully everyone is doing what they love. Nunez amplification is amazing.
THAT SNARE DRUM TONE AMIGO
One of the massive bands live I’ve ever seen ❤
Yes! One of the best live bands you'll ever see. Local heroes
Great concept! And incredible live Mix!
I don't care what anyone says Torche is fucking sick.
No idea who these guys were. RUclips recommendation. Not disappointed. Galaxy crushing.
If you don't like this, then you are jealous you are not this fantastic.
I love this band so much
Damn! This sounds better than the album!
That mix is on point!! put's the seth meyers people to shame
Except Eric's vocals can't be heard. At all.
Why is everyone in such a rush to throw anything about their appearance on the Seth Myers Late Night under the bus? See it all over the interwebs since that show ... I was absolutely thrilled to see Torche get a song on-air and another for web content done. The fucking mix was NOT that bad. I watched it with a proper setup that night and it rocked. Yes, THIS mix is better. But damn people .. just be happy mainstream TV got its ass handed to itself for at least one night and somewhere out there some kids got a wakeup call introduction.
@@avolite719 In all fairness this mix absolutely dookies all over the engineers at the SM show, Erik vocals or not.
@@ericappell801 .. Still kinda not my point.
@@avolite719 I got your point. This mix is really fucking solid. The other one isn't. S'all.
saw them with Harvey milk many moons ago. fucking molten lead poured on my ears. got hm's setlist to boot!
I cant wait to see them live!
Amazing sound always at K! Pit . Every band sounds great
I didn’t know Farva had this in him!! And Joe Rogan on drums...Great stuff!!!! First time hearing these guys! Fucking impressive!!!!!
I just found out about this band and love them
Welcome. I went searching one day to whatever happened to a band called Floor a few years back and suddenly discovered the album ReStarter. Been around ever since.
I saw these guys in our tiny little Community Center like 40 feet by 30 feet when they first started probably between 04 and 06 and they f****** blew everybody away
The sound is so GOOD!!!
Just saw they’re playing with converge and meshuggah in Columbus next March. This is gonna be a sick fucking show
Yep old metal and hardcore dudes will be going to the hospital after those shows for losing their shit instead of covid
Torche is fire! Literally and figuratively
I’m so sad this band broke up. I missed my one chance to see them opening for Meshuggah bc I got stuck in wreck-traffic on the freeway. On my way there I saw a cat get run over too. Not a good day. Torche please come back!!
I love your energy and interesting songwriting. Very talented band! 🖤🤘
The sound engineer is a wizard!

Torche)))
Damn I miss Torche already. This video is tiding me over. Seen them at least 10 times over 15 years and every time was awesome. First time was a coffee shop in like '05/06 where they kept killing the breakers because it was too heavy. AND Admission rips. Went out on a high note y'all!
The drummer plays with such ease. Like it’s nothing
Such a chill dude too. These guys have been top of my list for a long time now.
Torche is the best thing to happen to heavy music in a long time.
Saw them with Russian Circles last year!
Just bought tickets to see Meshuggah and can't wait to dig into this band. See you guys in Detroit!
what a hot set! absolutely on fire!
Damn they sound incredible! Kudos to those Nunez amps!
Let's knock out 10 songs in 28 minutes! so sick!
I saw this band live (not this performance) and they crushed it. The only metal concert I've been to where there were a bunch of fine women who weren't bandmember's girlfriends.
I wish these guys would go on tour with Elder.
Such a TIGHT band. And more dudes than a Helmet show!
Glad to see rod farva doing good for himself since the rest of the Highway Patrol started Cracklin Bacon
Lol.
Crank that Volume Meow! 😄
🤘🤘🤘🤘
I thought the same thing!!!! Lol
Fav song: LiteraCola

YASS KWEEEEEN
MASSIIIIVVVVEEEEEEE.. SO AWESOME! LUV THIS SHEET!!!!!!!!!!
This is fucking incredible, great band!!!Im turning 55 next week and still haven't lost my edge
Just fucking WOW. so, so HEAVY. TORCHE.
double hitting the snare in the intro of barrier hammmer basically breaks the song. They were already done by then. Ill never stop listening to their records though
TORCHE are so powerful live,,,i hope to see them again if things get back to normal again
Their songs are too short! I WANT MORE
new discover for me. thanks kerrang
HEAVY!
This is one of my favorite metal performances ever! Incredibly punishing! Gojira, 90’s Sepultura, Meshugga, Melvins, ain’t got sh*t on this.
Extremes of consciousness sounds crazy!
Woah, recommended from a friend, I like this
Just here showin some love to JML Instruments.
Also this is some heavy shyte right here, lovin it!
I saw Torche and wrong at a show in Miami and it was fucking epic. Both bands sound was incredible. If you want seen them already . Make sure do it.
flawless...and goddamn massive.!!
Hey Late Night with Shit Maya, this is how you mix fuzzy guitars and hi-hats.
Fuck, I was just happy to see mainstream TV take a minute and have some music of value on its stage. Think about what the norm is on shows like Seth Myers's late Night. The mix wasn't THAT bad anyways.
The singer looks like Don Frye from Godzilla: Final War's. This stuff rawks !!
I'm thinking a fit Rod Farva from Super Troopers / Tacoma FD as well!
Lol.
Torche it up! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
This is a great live video, but no video can do justice to a Torche live show. Do yourself a favor and see them asap.
Kerrang, please, bring Pelican, Russian Circles or Failure!!!!!
This is fucking awesome!! All the years they ve played is brutal. And all the Floor stuff... Me ❤
Saw them open for Clutch and Orange Goblin a long time ago. Good times.
