Taking a New Rider Trail Riding for the FIRST time..

- Out of all the enjoyment I get out of riding dirt bikes I think the most rewarding aspect is teaching new riders and introducing them to the sport. Everybody is different in terms of coordination and how fast they catch on but thankfully Mason is pretty athletic and picked things up fairly quickly. There are a lot of mechanics that us experienced riders do without thought so it’s fun to watch the progression and see what skills / weaknesses somebody has from the start.
I hope you all enjoy this video and can share the love of riding with others!

Mason you did great and I look forward to seeing you progress as a rider🤘🏻
Where are you riding in this video
Come down to the TN/NC mountains. Lots of amazing single track! Weather is perfect and the views are great.
We will!!
When you do, you’ve gotta hit Brown Mountain OHV!
@@Yamaharider98 Brown mountain in NC is great, Doe mountain in Tennessee is even better ❤️
I live in the smokey mnts Tennessee and we have some of the best single track you could ask for...
Windrock is unparalleled in variety and gnar outside of Knoxville
When is a a little I got started on a TTR 50. But only two years later the hobby got dropped. And then nearly 10 years later my father decides to get me back on a Dirtbike after our move from Pickerington Ohio to Santa Clarita California. My first ride was a rough one. But by the end of that day I was roughly using the clutch and leaning. Fast forward a few months and now I am ready for a 250. It’s a long bumpy road. Literally. But in the end it is worth it.
Started on the same bike!
Looks like a fun day.
It really was!
Been talking bout this bike, the air cooled 250f, for a long time now. To myself, of course.
The only one to talk about it was Barry and MegsBraAap some years ago.
I did skip your og 250f vid cause immediately I thought, of course. its a great motorcycle. Ill go back.
Prepare for your channel to overwhelm you in the coming years and keep having fun.
This little bike is likely selling by the hundreds of thousands and thats whats good for motorcycling.
Favorite bike in my stable right now!
I would love to ride with you guys. I've rode 20 years on black top. I'm a beginner off road. I own a 250 dual sport and definitely need some coaching. I'm 42 and not too proud to admit when I need help. 😅
E start the most important feature on bike!! Can’t live without one now
From someone who lives in Ohio and about 30-40 minutes from Wayne National Forest, I'm happy to have found your channel :)
Another great video brother
Thank you!!👊🏻
how fun!! lived the video 🥰 you guys are hilarious
Keep the crf250f content coming! I've ridden more this season than I ever have before because I enjoy mine so much
That's what I'm talking about! It's just so easy to hop on and ride, most fun bike I own right now.
Awesome video! My buddy @KyleCorbett_tv and I were passed by you guys yesterday on the dorr run loop after the bridge right before the brick road. We were ridding on a 2022 Crf 250r and a 2003 KX 250 with a restyle kit. Awesome to be stopped and watch you all ride past us. Keep up the videos at Wayne. Maybe we will be seen in the part 2 of this video lol.
Damn that's awesome!! Should have flagged us down, I do remember seeing those bikes the Kawi especially. Thanks for the support I am sure we will cross paths again!
Every time I kick start my old XR 250r, I wish I had an electric start, but once I am running I realize how much fun this old bike is.
Mason did great! I still love that Beta.
Looks like he has done well on this so far!
He killed it!
Im not looking forward to snow either i just wanna ride!!!!! great video!!!!
You and me both! Thanks for watching!!
Still rocking the old kdx200 wish I had that magic button some days lol
we need more mason!!
i sold my xr400 a few years back because it lacked the magic button. finally got myself something i love as much as that, a DRZ baby!
There we go!! Ol' reliable.
This is the weirdest coincidence, my name I Mason and I have also just started trail riding. Kinda threw me for a loop 😂
That's awesome man haha, welcome to the sport.
@@AdventureDaily 🤣 You called it a sport. It's a way of life. Almost an addiction at this stage. 🤣
@@christophersmith2670 It's whatever you make it! Life indeed for me.
We plan to be at Wayne this weekend... are y'all coming back out?
Where are you guys riding? Looks like nice trails
I'm actually looking for a decent kick start 2 stroke KTM/Husqy. First and only bike I've ever ridden in my '15 Husqy fc250
2022 TE300i E start FTW!!
Jarvis style!!
@@AdventureDaily Haha I'm FAR from his skill level! If you ever down in KY there is some awesome trails we ride down here. Red Bird Crest has some awesome single track. I came out bleeding and bruised last time but I'm going back with a vengeance haha
we ride wayne a lot. It's fun to go fast down there but it's almost too manicured. I used to really enjoy the Long Ridge section but they went and smoothed it all out and make it too nice. Totally illegal but hill climbs are fun
Agreed! It's a shame they don't open some single track trails..
"Illegal"......LMAO...no it's not.
@@harrynut3044 It says everywhere not to go off trail....
@@mschumaker1 I have no doubt it does. Words on a sign does not qualify it as the Law. Sadly, the HERD of sheeple living on the uSA have no clue what the Real Law is. The Constitution Tells the Reader....It's the "Supreme Law of the Land". . . . But that is NEVER TAUGHT because Slave training from Cradle to Grave does have its effects. Who put those signs up and who wrote those Rules they label laws ? By what Authority do they have to tell you where to walk and ride if NOT on private property ? These are things you should be asking yourself.
Some nice trails what state are you in
Missed you guys. Was hoping you'd put out a video soon. The Beta is a best looking bike out there, really sharp. Nephew kicked some ass for a newbie. Lex, you should have tried the Hill Climb Tanner was doing.....you can DO IT !!!
Thanks Mr. Nut! It really is a great looking bike. The mind is the greatest enemy🫣
I saw you on trails
Were you on the 150RB?
Yes
@@joesniffs5473 Right on! Should have said what's up.
Ontario have some sweet trails not very far from you!
I will make it out that way someday for sure!
Which Wayne trail is this? I'll be doing my first trail ride in the next few weeks and this looks doable. Just got a 2000 DRZ400e and want something a bit easier to start.
thats the gas can from the green acres.
Last bike I rode without estart was a RM125 20 years ago
Making me feel old haha!
Good stuff lol
Thanks Downey!!! How was your riding season?
@@AdventureDaily not real great hoping next year will be better
When that white stuff falls That's when George stuff happens
After kicking the shit out of the 150r, the magic button is great… When it works on the good ol’ KTM😂 #KickTillMonday
Hey I’m finally getting a dirt bike and it’s an 2002 xr100
Congrats Michael! Enjoy it they are great bikes.
Well plans changed got a ttr 125
Only 70!, summer weather in Ohio
For real!
@@AdventureDaily when you say free how do I get some of that free 99.
Where are these trails? I’m east coast. Looking for some places to go ride.
This was at Wayne National Forest in Southern Ohio!
Very easy track
Sure is!
Free ktm like to use or to keep? Cuz if it's free to keep I'll come get it tonight, but if it's just free to use only, that's badass!! I love opportunities and that would provide tons of opportunities to people with friends they wanna ride with
It was more of a joke haha! The red bikes are the loaners, the KTM just needs work.
Why are you getting rid of the ktm for free?
Keep the stability turned on the GoPro.
Never!!
😂😂😂😂🤢🤮
What did Tanner use for shit tickets?
This was a code red emergency so no time to find moss.. Had to resort to the ol' Bounty, the quicker picker upper.
E start is the way to go, too old to kick
Agreed!!
Put the stabilization back on its horrible 😂😂😂😂
That gas can doesn't leak any more than those overpriced democratic gas cans!
I agree that’s why I still use it haha!
@@AdventureDaily I use the LC2 5 gallon cans for all our toys and power equipment. They have a couple nice handles, long flexible pour spout, and also a vent.
Just don't over tighten the vent cap because they'll split. But those cans have done me well over the past few years. 👍🏻
Pretty lady, lose the nose ring before it becomes a nose hollow. Really girl, you don't need anything on that face. You'll understand when you get older, don't wait until you are and can't reverse time...
Who trail rides with plaster of make up and fake lashes???
My girlfriend.
