  • In this video I'm gonna show you what the term "EDM" actually means and how this genre developed during the last seven years from progressive- to electro- and big room house. At least it came on with influences of trap and future-bass. What comes next? We will see....
    My Facebook-Page: / fans-of-edm-1823034457...
Martin Garrix, Hardwell, Afrojack, Axwell Λ Ingrosso, Tiësto, Blasterjaxx, Revealed and Spinnin' Records are pretty cool!

They didn't fit to this list. If this was about big room okay, but they didn't hit commercial success with big room like garrix or Sandro Silva and they did not make a stylistic change like Martin which had an effect of the whole scene 🙈

Very glad to see Hardwell's name at first bcoz after spaceman and some of his tracks his tracks didn't go well as Chainsmokers went. But Hardwell is the legend of real Djing and his livesets are hugely popular. His mashups are truly seamless and amazing to hear , he tries something new every set unlike other DJs . The best thing is that he mashups every new track with an old school hit , which makes his set very interesting every time .
    HARDWELL ALL TIME #1..!!!!!!!

    For all now:
I know there are a lot of names missing. Within a few seconds there come names like *Skrillex, Diplo, KSHMR, Don Diablo, Laidback Luke or Stargate* to my mind. You have to take a look on the lenght of the video. It's not even 10 minutes but imagine if I name every single artist that invented a special style, that is able to excite a huge mass of people the video would be longer than an hour and I really want to create compact videos; but maybe I will extend this video somewhen! :)

There are so many artists with so many different styles. it's just so captivating that not only are the artist unique but the fans who love different stuff. Like you can start all the way from Kygo & Lost Frequencies to Don Diablo, Oliver Heldens to Kshmr, Hardwell, Blasterjaxx & Armin Van Buuren. And they're like just 1% of what EDM has to offer. There are so so many. Each and everyone having their own unique signature style. it's captivating.

i guess (for me) 2010-14 are the best... well, many djs right now changing genres... but i hope some of them still sticks where they are... trap isn't for me and i rather go moombhatoon... future house and bass house, maybe but in the early years they produce good shit... now many of it are shit... i guess its a bandwagon and we just need to wait on another wagon to run...

2010-2015 were still the best. It's so sad to see future bass are almost dominating tomorrowland and other edm festivals now and this is also the reason why I transerred to Hardstyle. I really wish House Progressive and Big Room will come back to life someday and somewhere in time.

I first fell in love with electronic music when I was a kid and I saw Daft Punk on Cartoon Network(2000)i think) ever since then my love for the music has grown. But it wasn't until they're late 2012 that I really fell in love for the music. I love Progressive house tho! Alesso, Dubvision, avicii etc. I just find it awesome when i find something good from 2000s & 90s, like its old but the sound stays gold.
