love this! we’ve tried to sleep in the ford fusion before but to no luck. I have a ford fusion + and the seats are at a slant and do not fully go down, meaning it’s extremely uncomfortable. any idea if it could ever be made into a camper and if so how? thanks!
Wow that's so inspiring. I´ve been dreaming of a camper van for months. I can't make it reality cause I'm a student so quite low on budget but I´ve got the exact same car. A Ford Fusion. Do you know how much money you've spent and do you have a plan for the box scetched out and is there any chance you could share it ? I'd LOVE to built my Ford into a Micro Camper but I don't have much experience with woodwork and stuff. Greetings

@@herbertsgarden2374 Hi, I ended up adjusting a number of measurements as I was making this, so I will re-check measurements and write them down. I will put a link to it on here as soon as I get time. Note that some fusions have thicker foam in their upholstery, so you will need to check height when seats are folded down. I guess for American viewers like myself, we're thinking of the Mondeo when we say Fusion. This is what we would call a Ford Escape or Expedition, depending on the size.

I have a ford fusion how did U lay down the back seats ? I can lay down but not totally.
Sorry for the delay. Yes, the back seats will fully go down. Some seats on other Ford Fusions appear to have more seat padding.
