The Featherstone leather used on the Beckman line maintains a polish which stands out from other leathers used on their other heritage lines. Got the 9011 and 9016.
I also have those 9011, I love the color. They are made with the same last IR are made. I saw a guy resoling a pair and it turned out the mid sole was fiberboard. So when I get to resole mine I will request to replace them with all leather. Take care.
I have some black cherry Beckhams , almost and new as yours, however i am in the process of wanting to wear them more to get a nice foot imprint in the foot bed , just don’t want to scuff them up , my 877’s i broke in nicely, need a resole now but wear them all the time .
is the open of beckman smaller compare to blacksmith or iron ranger? because i am size 9 and I was NOT even able to get my foot into used beckman 8.5D I had tried. Even with a shoe horn I couldn't get my foot in. I was shocked! Reason is... back many months ago, I was able to put on Iron Ranger 7.5EE without problem! (it just was way too tight for my liking but the fact that I can atleast get it on was shocking).
I have Beckman boots. I thought the Blacksmiths were different on the front. I thought they were a little narrower, but now I see that they are very similar. Are they exactly the same width in the front? Thanks for the video.

The 9016 looks great also. To bad they discontinued these boots. It will return but with a different sole and a flat toe box
an old polished beckman has a very nice patina. given how they pair with selvedge denim it can be a really soulful combo.
Gayyyyyyyy

Yeah. The color on these are really nice. I like them

The Beckmans have been the hardest Red Wings I have to break in, mine are not broken in yet
I don’t think you mentioned how the Beckman is all eyelets and Blacksmith has speed-hooks.
Ohh. Sorry. Thanks for reminding me of that
The latest version of the Beckmans have speedhooks as well.

They are built on the same last so it should basically be the same, I didn’t noticed any difference.

If I remember correctly they are both built on the 8 last, so they should be identical
If I’m not mistaken the Beckman’s don’t have a toebox, that’s why they call it a flatbox.
@@rightuppercut1426 These have a toe box. I know that their Klondike are a flat box
