What an amazing experience! And great video! I would love to come and visit, go on a guided snorkeling tour! I snorkeled with seals on the west coast of Sweden two weeks ago. My first encounter! But they weren't as friendly as these seals seems to be. Still managed to get 2-3 meters to them with my GoPro :)

@OceanEarthGreen I just fix it, I put your video on 1080 I had to go to settings on RUclips looks super clear, but how come it's defaulted at 360p, I hate that RUclips does that

I use a 4/3 surfers full suit for winter.

Currently I'm working on another documentary on the SS Dominator ship wreck off Palos Verdes assuming that I can find more of the underwater wreckage which I have been diving in search of for weeks. I've found some close to shore large sections but there are huge sections further out I've yet to locate.

Yes, as long as they are treated with respect and distance. They are very peaceful
is it hard to get that close to them ?
It takes a while to gain their trust.
how did you get them to swim with you ?
by keeping a good distance to not scare them but so they can see me and get interested to come over and check me out.

Yes and no, better to not be that close but Harbor Seals in general very peaceful
what's the best entry point for this dive
when you’re standing on flat rock point looking straight out, to the right there is a small cove. this is the best place to enter.
