Aaron working hard to keep the game alive and they got good chances not just in this game but in all their other straight 4 losses. Their defense just keeps letting them score and eventually were out of reach. It must be more frustrating for Rodgers than us. He has been doing well these games but their defense just keeps piling up offensive scores....

I went to this game, it was my first nfl game. It was probably the greatest atmosphere I have ever been a part of!

Funny, just a couple of years ago the NFC East was pretty pathetic, and now all four teams have winning records, with Dallas maybe the best in the League, and Washington and NY right now solid playoff contenders. Even Philly could surge to contend, being just a bit back from Washington. Reminds me of the halcyon days of the 80s and early 90s when the Cowboys, Redskins and Giants took turns kicking ass and taking names.

Man I came here to say just that!!! All I have been hearing is "What's wrong with Aaron Rodgers?" or "Green Bay is losing because Rodgers has not been himself." Bullshit!! Green Bay's defense is HORRIBLE!!!! They made Cousins look like Joe Montana from the 80's and he is no where near that good!!! With no Eddie Lacey, Aaron has to throw the ball WAY too much!! I'm still proud to be a Packers fan. Good game to the Redskins and their fans. The only way to get better is to struggle. I don't think we're making the playoffs this year, but there's still a lot of football left. We have a lot of injuries on our defense. Doesn't help when we lose 3-5 guys per game. Prayers out to Goodson. It didn't show on air, but his leg snapped and it looked nasty.

There is no argument anymore, the Packers defense is the absolute worst in the NFL. 47 to the Titans and 42 to the Redskins, the Cleveland Browns and SF 49ers give up less points. Injuries aside, something needs to change.

The only notable player on the lions i can think of who's missed time is Levy. Statistically this defense still isn't as bad as in 2014 when we were a 12-4 SB contender on the grace of AR and that offense alone. We could've won the SB if the defense was even decent that year. Dom Capers is garbage and he's been dragging us down year after year regardless of the players he's given. And Mike McCarthy has skated by on that 2010 SB win for forever-- only one SB appearance in 7 straight years of playoffs? No SB appearances in the multiple seasons where AR played statistically better than any qb ever has?
Overlook the atrocious defense for a moment and just look at how MM has run the offense this year, with all of these weapons at his disposal including a top 5 qb. It's mediocre at best and now slipping to the bad end of the league. The prime of AR's life is being wasted by pedestrian coaching while ppl like Eli Manning get SB rings with a 9-7 team and the 49ers make it through the playoffs on good coaching alone (compare their record before and after Harbaugh left if you think it was the players or Kap that did that).
Now that Rodgers is not playing like he has been we can we see how badly this team would do with even an average qb. Give it a good coaching staff for some restructuring and some sophisticated plays and we'd be able to actually follow through on the postseason. Sooner rather than later because once Rodgers is gone I see the Packers down there with the Bears and Jags

Packer Nation: As a Packer fan myself, this was not a awful game but not a great one either. Redskins are a good team in a tough division with the cowboys, eagles, and giants. They were the better team this game in their home field. Even if the packers win out and become 10-6 I dont think they will make the playoffs because of all the good teams this year in the NFC, but i think the packers will finally get a good draft pick and get ready for the 2017 season and go for the superbowl. But who's saying im a fortune telling they might make the playoffs and win the superbowl, but we'll see nothing to be worried about good will come out of this for packer fans. Yall actually just dont know how stacked the Redskins offense was in 2016. Kirk threw 4900 yards, garcon and djax both went off all year (1,000+ yards each), jamison crowder was one of the bet slot guys in the league, jordan reed is the 3rd best tight end, and our o-line had 3 pro bowlers.... if only wed had a defense xd
It now makes perfect sense why the Lions were able to get back into the game after a 31-3 Packers lead. Everybody said we had the worst secondary in football but I would now say GB does. Anybody who thinks Rodgers sucks now doesn't know a damn thing about football, it's the same people who rate how good a player is based on super bowls and not individual performance which is laughable.
This was definitely the best game of the week.

Green Bay is done. Time to rebuild for next season. Fire Mike McCarthy and trade up for a draft pick to help that secondary. I had the packers going 13-3 this season with an easy schedule, but now, they've shocked us all.

This is the game that started it all. After this game the Packers were never the same again.
The Packers offense was great and Aaron Rodgers played very well. Our defense was straight up horrible and trash. Kirk Cousins threw so many bombs on them and Rob Kelley ran like crazy. I think Dom Capers should be considered to be fired by the end of the season. Our team needs to get healthy, thats part of the reason why we are doing terrible at a 4-6 record. #GoPackGo

Rodgers really put, ayes awesome man, and the Offense has few woken up the past while. But man we can't win with the D# allowing 30-40+ points per game. But we have a lot of injuries and to many key players. But good news is they will all heal and become healthy, and I mean look at just even having Cook there. Players that will be weapons against any team in the league can play, and if our D gets healthy and works on fixing some problems. It will be a very different team. But I am proud of you Pack. Doesn't matter he's in the endzone. He had possession in the endzone for a good amount of time before being knocked out. Football move doesn't apply to endzone unless he is going to the ground.
