iPad Stopwatch is a free online stopwatch and countdown timer that works especially great on the iPad. It has a large display which makes it great for large audiences. It keeps going even after you leave so you don't have to worry about starting over if you accidently close it. There's also an online timer.
Unlike this video it doesn't have a 30 minute limit, in fact it will keep running forever until you stop it even if you leave the site and come back.
