That Toy-biz Angel in the Sentinel BAF Wave is my Favorite version of Angel, on the giant wings alone, great video! would love to see an Age of Apocalypse Marvel Legends video, some pretty cool apocalypse figs out there too. the Marvel Select Apocalypse is pretty clean.
Late to the party but I have maybe 10 age of apocalypse X men versions and I will try to get the rest as I go on,I need rogue and sabretooth/wild child badly,lol
I totally agree about the toy bus figures being much truer to the characters. The Iceman with the snowball in the expression on his face is a much better representation! The yellows and blues on both look great! That box set is X-ceptionally eye-popping. I can't think of a better word than fabulous.. late nineties too.. remarkable art design, and color,s!

Hey CS 👋, I never collected the original X-Men comics or figures. But you're right in how they layed the foundation and ground work for later comics and figures.
Those early comics and stories weren't that great. I tried reading the first 10 issues and fell asleep multiple times. But the character designs and concepts were there - it just took a while and some special creators like Chris Claremont to really see the potential of the book
I kick myself for a few pass overs in my life of collecting and most of the are the Toys R Us exclusives 🤦♂️ I seen the X-men box set of legends in 2015 and passed. I also did the same thing in 2017 on the Scott and Jean two pack and to round out my stupidity the Spider-Man Mary Jane two pack. Three of my biggest regrets in my collecting. I do have the toy biz set. And that is why I skipped on the x men set. I am fully convinced that with the new retro line of legends the original x men are an easy run for hasbro to release.
A little fact that I figured out after getting my box set is if you move iceman it sounds like cracking ice but if you do the same positioning with other figures like if you move Jean Grays arm it doesn’t sound like cracking eyes like ice man does and in my stopwatch and series by the way yeah I’m gonna be doing that soon I’m making a Jean Grey DIDNT my fan made version of the human torch Who is supposed to represent me in this series

X-MEN is how you do a good social commentary without ruining it with idiotic ideologies as the Eternals did. If Jack The King Kirby was alive he would feel ashamed by that horrible movie!
