Thanks for watching this video. I hope it helps you complete circuits and will give you the knowledge confidently build your projects. Make sure to like the video and give me some comments. I keep forgetting to add this message to the video.
Great stuff mate, thanks.
Thank you very much for the excellent video😃
You are so welcome!
Great video. Just one comment: on 31:39 you mention a 4.7uF capacitor. The black body SMD capacitor is rather a Tantalum capacitor and KiCAD has a separate library for these. It looks like a Kemet A series (3216 or similar). Similarly, if it was an 0805 there are footprints for these as well and thus there is no need to select an SMD electrolytic footprint ;)
excellent KiCad tutorial. Have been trying to learn this but the other tutorials I tried were a little confusing.
Thank you so much!!
Interesting to note, there are Microcontrollers with integrated USB support. Even in the STM32F0 family, for example the STM32F070xx ones. that way you'd only have to hook up the USB_D+/USB_D- pins to the connector.
You are correct. This series is focusing on microcontroller basics. I will show USB communication in a later video in the series.
When do you think will Volume 2 of your textbook be released?
I estimate Q4.
Great Video Patrick !! . . How can one reach you concerning private questions ? Do you have a contact eMail ?
