Epic! There's no other band as subverse, dynamic & unique as KJ. Post-punk, rock, industrial, tribal, dance anthems with harmonious vocals, intelligent lyrics, thumping drums & and intense guitar riffs. Bloody superb! 🖤🎶🤘
I remember being at home with my Mam and Dad one Sunday evening, watching Esther Ranzen's That's Life program when they'd go out on the streets with a TV camera and ask passers-by silly questions... and along strolls Jaz Coleman and they nab him. He played along with it. I nearly choked on my jam sandwich seeing him in 'normal mode'.
Whats great about this song is that it takes a break from the heavy lyrical stuff on the rest of the album and is purely about love and appreciating life.
Walking on familiar ground reduced to tears Remember friends and faces Passing of the years All those who shared with us The ordeals and the pain Hearts of gold walk down golden lanes Big buzz, big buzz On a high Big buzz, big buzz And I'm alive Smiling faces of those who always care All the good people They're always there Follow your dream and you'll go far Every man and woman is a star Still laughing after all these years... Big buzz, big buzz On a high Big buzz, big buzz And I'm alive A time for gratitude, a time to thrill Another chapter A fresh breeze blowing in Voices of ancestors Cheering us on Never stopping Until the race is won Big buzz, big buzz On a high Big buzz, big buzz And I'm alive Still laughing after all these years Tears of laughter, tears of pride Big buzz, big buzz On a high Big buzz, big buzz And I'm alive
I do love this album, been my company in the car to and from work for the past week, this is my favourite song from it, Jaz's voice on form and the thumping drumming of Big Paul complements, as in most of the tunes on it, lost none of their awesomeness, so wish the lyrics were included on the cd!
Alison Potter my fav track on this album-that sound they make-awesome!! Still relevant-never sold out-just an awesome group!! Seen them live so many times-the Concorde in Brighton was pretty special!!
interview Jas Coleman has saved my mental healt → Now I know I'm not psychotic paranoid (fearfull) and can aim my attention/dachtboekwriting back to my Gestalte ande God (the Godess) (hou er niet van om me uit te drukken in een vreemde taal, mss was het makkelijker als engels mijn moedertaal is) Thank you, Killing Joke! (and Jassie → we'll probably meet in a past or future carnation?) you saved my soul from pullution !!!
Love your intelligence. Don’t need to be president to spread the truth ... Jaz...at your age, amazing live. Please don’t leave us ... see you and the boys on the other side of the moon...xxx

I know Killing Joke for 40 years and still don't know what is their best song, it is such a lot of them. First I thought it is their early songs from the 80s but the songs they make now are as good. To make perfect songs for 40 years...what can I say more.
Vocal melody recalls Under a southern sky from Brighter than a thousand suns. Not sure about this album from what I've heard so far. Four tracks down and this is probably the best yet. Don't think it's going to stand comparison with Revelations, Extremities or Democracy, which I think is something of an overlooked classic.

GOD DAMN WHAT A TUNE....WOOHOO!!!!!!!!
Superbe retour aux racines. Magnificend return in the roots
I hope they are playing this one live! It's the best KJ song for over ten years.
I agree with you great song 😁
killing joke and the chamelions on the same stage , now that would be my idea of heaven !
I heard that they did share the stage once but had a fight because KJ wouldn't let the Chameleons soundcheck!
"Paper Tigers" is kinda about KJ
you name 2 perfect bands here. I still don't know which one of the 2 is the best for me.
Jaz Coleman ... te levo como inspiração de vida . Como uma força que faz atravessar os abismos das químicas
Whats great about this song is that it takes a break from the heavy lyrical stuff on the rest of the album and is purely about love and appreciating life.
Sensacional!!!

this song is by and about big Paul, who since coming back into the group, now insists on the rest of the band calling him Buzz.
just brilliant.

''Every Man and Woman is a star'' - Aleister Crowley
+Diogenes Cerqueira But he abused children don,t you know about this guy
@@cffalconer Everything you've heard about Crowley is a lie, and there's a reason for that.
@@LintRiggs_ The reason being?
I love Big Buzz sing along yeah
excellent.planet killing joke for ever
Ciao Geordie 😢💔🎸🌹RIP

BIG BUUUUUUZZZZ
Great song. Has a bit of a Nirvana/Foo Fighters vibe. When you think about it, that's more than fine. ;)
hear some similarities with Hole's Malibu😅
Awright,awright awright....👊
And again. X
No dislikes !
Again X
chrous reminds me of the fear factory vocalist in some weird undefined way
Fear Factory owe KJ a depth of gratitude.
Sounding like the Chameleons/1985 isn't very original.
