This is awesome! Oliver and Laurel are my OTP for this show. Even though it's unlikely, I have my fingers crossed Black Siren gets a redemption arc and a different Lauriver happens. Or the show needs to give us flashbacks to Earth 2 Lauriver. I'm getting off track here, so I just wanted to say again that you did an amazing job with this video, especially the conplexity of their relationship.

Laurel deserved better and lauliver should have been the end game. Season 1 was set up like this 1 big love, for the love of heavens, Oliver survived those 5 years partly because of Laurel and then gave us that love triangle with sarah, and just pursue her character as a side one? For those saying they don't have chemistry is like saying lana and clark from smallville didnt! haha So sad this ship was not explored more. They were good for each other despite Oliver indescretions

i can't wait until felicity dies so laurel and oliver can be together. i'm willing to bet that the writers wanted to please the olicity fans so they gave them 2 seasons to be together until lauriver will take over from where it left off it season 2. it's horrible writing but it could happen.
+TopherXC It's the same thing that happened in Smallville. Just like with Clois, the Lauriver build-up will be worthwhile.
+tr011ful I totally agree. The CW knows that romances like these ave to be awe inspiring and that takes time. Everyone who knows the comics knows these two will get together the second both are in show and they have to live up to expectations. Same with WestAllen on the Flash.
C Gabrielle i agree. it shouldn't happen right after felicity dies. and i do think she needs her own story line because right now, she is a pointless character. she almost had her own life with her friendship with nyssa but that ended to quickly. we should have seen actual scenes of her training with nyssa.

Laurel was the shows Dinah and Oliver is married to Dinah in the comics. I don't know why they changed it in the show. It's like making Clark Kent marry another woman besides Lois lane.

I personally think that Laurel was better with Tommy, he loved her so much.
Yeah, initially Oliver's clearly an establishment jerk who doesn't have any wisdom in him at all; when you first meet him, he's simply a pathetic flirt of a man... truly a disaster. But some of the things he does regarding her really are truly masculine, such as the ice-cream date... real men do not act as mere brutes; we have a sense of danger that really does prohibit us from brutalizing all those we meet, or in his case, using the ladies for sex- disgusting conduct by the way, and truly hurtful.
An awful lot of the conduct of characters on film is humans acting like animals; what is described in religious texts (for a note of wisdom) as "base and brutal", because animals act in exactly that same way. Now it may well be funny to think of humans acting like animals when you're twelve; but when you're in your upper thirties or forties- and have spent just about *half* of your lifetime studying WW2 East Front Europe- that is profoundly disturbing and real scary! But that's the sort of nonsense you get if atheism takes over your mindset, as history abundantly proves.

+Tie B That's a bit harsh considering the fact that 90% of ship videos on RUclips (not just Arrow but other TV series as well) contain clips that are 'made' to look like something. And this is not really SUCH a big 'manipulation'.
