Kenshi is hard to beat with reptile since he has no ranged options and sent stance doesn't go away when he's hit it just stops for a second. One thing that was working for me when I was using reptile vs kenshi was a backwards jump into overhead teleport while kenshi was pressing buttons. It's risky but it slows the kenshi player down just a bit so it's easier to get out of the vortex.
Reptile just sucks in general. He’s inferior to his MKX and MK9 self where his force balls travelled full screen. Thanks to that, he has no setups. Personally it’s too disappointing to play this character.
Typically you can death roll duck also. Just gotta make use of the armor. Cuz if not then you’re gonna get 20% block damage taken off before you can even down 1. I feel reptile needs something idk what, but something.

Git gud doesn't even come close to what you want players to do cause they'd all need to become pro players in order to maybe win half the time. The kenshi player is absolute trash without it obviously and is carried by it hence why it should be nerfed.

@swolsauce9923 I presume meant nerf? If I am correct you can only perfect block or armor through it. But someone can correct me if im correct, as Kenshi, you can option select through their armor anyways and punish them for it.

Use scorpion Kameo to pull you back when sento is out? Then spam some slime balls til he has to put him away? I see most ppl using Kameos for only combo extending and forgetting the other setups/defense(not saying you are) they have. I think ppl will learn that after you get to a certain skill level, the Kameo you choose will be the most important choice. Instead of picking a Kameo that's best helps your combos, picking one that affects your opponents characters strengths. Idk?

Looks like Reptile is gonna be bottom tier with a top tier design. Gameplay wise, all damage, no versatility. No setups, no un-reactable 50/50s, mediocre strike/throw game since no 9 frame mid. Yeah, pretty disappointing.

Yeah, he is probably the worst character in the game right now, besides maybe kitana. Then again, it's only been a few days, so we don't know everything but he does seem pretty damn bad this time around.
@@derickriley6102 Sub isn't even close to the worst character in the game. He has an overhead launcher, which you can make safe with certain kameos, and he also has a low starter (again, with certain kameos). Not to mention he has pretty decent frame data, and a very good anti-zoning tool (slide)
