I wouldn’t completely count out his claims unless you’ve seen his bills. I don’t know about their area but we got a whole lot of ridiculous new fees/taxes/*something* along with our jumped up electricity prices. Not to mention late fees piling up, or reconnect fees, from when your bill all of a sudden skyrockets and you have to play catch up until you get your budget sorted out again. Maybe that could account for some for the discrepancy? I know my home bill almost tripled there for a while and the local news kept going on and on about how the cost of electricity hadn’t changed that much so they discounted homeowners’s complaints. I bothered to compare my new bill with an older one so I noticed the extra crap added on. Some companies like to take advantage and are sneaky about it……..Just a thought.

Yeah I would want to see the receipts to back up the claim by the barber. Due respect to him, I know there have been hikes and tax increases, but still like to see one of his $15000 monthly bills and how it breaks down please.

in my town heating is sometimes natural gas and sometimes electric. apts with elec pay 3x as much. and heating is required 6mos out of the year
