- Every Master had a Master of their own, once. Here is the brief tale of how Palpatine met his Master in the dark side, Darth Plagueis. Many believed him to be Snoke, which honestly would have been quite interesting, but all we have left of him now, are these old tales from the novels. I hope you enjoy the explanation and info, as well as look forwards to the next video about how he turned Palpatine to the dark side.
His teachings are what led to Anakin's hopes in saving Padme, and ultimately, becoming Vader.

Thoughts on the next main film being the early years of Palpatine and his rising under Plagueis and then the sequel would be like Revenge of the Sith where he turns on his master and it ends with him as the Chancellor? Just feel like that would be an amazing route to go for Disney

I cant stand the idea of Plagueis as a Muun. I also don't like the idea of him being boozed up and slain so easily by Sheev. I don't think plagueis should be human either.
I heard somewhere that Lucas actually did propose Plagueis as a Muun. The new Kylo Ren comic has some potential for Snoke/Plagueis/Palpatine connections. There should also be a Rey's father story which could connect the dots between Palpatine and Plagueis.

I need everyone to hear me out on this: A new Star Wars saga called the Sith Saga (This is all based on Star Wars canon. I'm not just making this up off the top of my head). The first episode is about the first group of Jedi to turn to the dark side. they turn at the end of it, after the episode shows the first beings to use the force, giving it new meaning to what it means to use the force. New powers are discovered by Jedi and they learn not to use the dark side, but one Jedi discovers the power of the Dark. He brings his followers with him to Malachor where they construct the first Sith temple.
Enter Episode II: The Rise of The Sith. Great battles are fought and won by Sith as they rise to power in this episode. The lightsaber battles are some of the best in the saga here. Jedi are almost wiped out from the Sith.
Episode III: Revenge of the Jedi. The thousands of Sith are torn apart from within (partly because they have so many in the order that they think they can become too powerful) and fall until only one is left; Darth Bane. he takes a singular apprentice, starting The Rule Of Two.
Each episode after this would focus on 2 Sith: the master and the apprentice. Ep3 would be Bane and Zannah, and so on, until we reach Episode 6 or maybe even 9. Obviously there's not enough time to create an episode for every single Sith. BUT, the last episode would start with Darth Tenebrous and Plagueis. About halfway through, Plagueis the Wise strikes down his master and soon takes on Darth Sidious. At the end of the film, Darth Plagueis is passed out and his guard is down. He is unexpectedly killed by the evil mastermind Darth Sidious and is not able to save himself. The very last scene in the saga would show a young Senator Palpatine put on his cloak and heading into a room to find his apprentice, whom he had broken the rule of two for, from Dathomir, waiting for his order to find the young boy that would start a whole new saga.

Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the wise? I thought not. It is not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a dark lord of the Sith so powerful and so wise he could use the force to influence the Midichlorians to create life. He had such a knowledge of the dark side he could even the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the force is a pathway to many abilities some would consider unnatural.
He became so powerful the only thing he was afraid of was loosing his power, which eventually of course, he did. Unfortunately he told his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep.
Ironic... He could save others from death... But not himself

Read the Darth Plagieus novel. That explains their relationship. Palpatine was the apprentice to Plagieus. Rule of 2 people. When palpatine saw a chance to gain more power he killed Plagieus in his sleep. Now palpatine became the lone sith lord. He then trained darth maul. Now we have 2 sith lords again. Maul gets taken out so palpatine trains tyrannus/dooku. Back at 2 sith lords. Anakin kills dooku opening himself to the dark side. He became darth vader and also trains as the apprentice to palpatine. Fast forward to endor and both Vader and palps get eliminated. Now there are no sith lords. Fast forward a bit more. Jacen Solo trains as a jedi but is insecure and unsure of himself. He gets seduced to the dark side by palpatine in spirit form. Jacen became darth caedous and tried to be a new emperor. He even starts a second galactic civil war. His apprentice was Tahiri veila as he took advantage of her being broken from torture at the hands of the vong. Those two are taken down. Jacen/caedus is killed but tahiri is rescued and rehabilitated by the new jedi order lead by Luke Skywalker. Luke became almost as powerful as yoda at this point. Then Disney #$%^@#!
Plagueis: Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Grandpa the Senile? He taught stuff to his apprentice and his apprentice bored him to death with questions about science, especially midichlorians. But he would also teach how to use the dark side to gain power and to kick one's family's ass!

Correction: Palpatine's first name was Cosinga. He was named after his father, who he hated, which is why he refused to use the name.

The creepiest thing about the thumbnail is it wouldn't be too hard to find a young actor who looks just like that who could play young Palpatine.
Is everything retconned now that in ep XI Palpatine says that he has all of the sith living in him, and that he has always been. So was Palpatine every other Sith lord, moving between them after he dies?
